-Not the fastest SSD on the market but its worth the price.-Seen a big Difference in Start up & login.-It all takes around 25 - 30 seconds to boot up my computer compared to my Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST3500418AS 500GB 7200 RPM Drive it took 2:00 minutes to boot up. Cons: If you want to do a firmware update  you lose ALL your data!!!

Pros: - Price- Performance
Comment:
My drive came with the latest firmware but make sure you check you drive before you load it with anything. This seems like a really bad flaw to me!

Cons: -Speed-Unstable-Opening simple programs (notepad, my computer, control panel, etc) may take anywhere from 0.5-15 seconds for no reason

Pros: -Cheap-Typical physical features like all SSDs
Comment:
Bought this around christmas, was always too busy and never knew what I was to expect from my SSD, until I got around to it this weekend. Turns out my Green Cavier had a better read/write speed. I was getting choke ups, read speed of 190, write speed of 19 (both in mb/s).

Cons: Not fast as other SSD, seems too easy to be corrupted, had to RMA first unit.

Pros: It's a SSD, small form factor, ok price when on sale.
Comment:
The first unit had to be RMA, because it worked temporarily. The second unit is still currently running with no issues, slower than other SSD, but does the job. Ok price when the unit is on sale.

Cons: - would not work on my desktop for more than 60 sec

Pros: - small- light- works good on my sisters netbook...
Comment:
I bought this drive originally to serve as a boot drive for my desktop. The first drive I had, had issues being recognized in the BIOS, and I could never complete a windows installation on the drive without it locking up (I left windows it alone for a day and nothing happened...). I ended up RMAing the drive (which NCIX did an awesome job of, as always), got the second one and even managed to get a full install of windows 7 on it. Unfortunately, I ended up with the same problems of the drive not being recognized in my BIOS. I updated my BIOS, unplugged existing storage drives, tried everything I could to get it to work, with no success. Since my sister was around for Christmas, I tried to install it on her similarly aged netbook (2-3 years old). To my surprise, it worked, perfectly. Since it worked, I couldn't justify sending it back to NCIX as defective, and I left the drive in her netbook as a Christmas gift. So, in reflection of my experience with the drive, two stars: it works, but I would NOT buy it again.

Cons: Not the fastest. Chokes when doing something like Video Editing

Pros: No noise or heat
Comment:
I bought this to finally make the transition to solid state for my new desktop. I got this, thinking that they would boost performance when transcoding video. But I'm not finding that at all. In general tasks, it works well. Windows loads a lot faster, and programs are snappier.

Cons: Not the fastest of the bunch, but you can't complain for the price.

Pros: Budget pricing. Basic benefits of using SSD.
Comment:
Had a V100 for half a year and had no problems. So decided to get this V200 for my new build. Was on sale for a great price. So far working pretty good, not the fastest SSD out there considering it is SATA3. WIE gives me 7.1 Nothing to really complain about so far.I probably wouldn't buy it again for a main rig, I think this would probably suit the need of those maybe thinking of installing it in their older laptops. Just run it in SATA2 and be happy with the performance boost over traditional HDD. Definitely would not pay full price for it.

Cons: Not the fastest SSD

Pros: Quick, small, affordable
Comment:
I haven't run into the write speed issues yet. I've just tossed it in my Macbook and have discovered the incredible speed benefits to boot and casual use. I haven't run any benches, but I just feel like my system is far snappier (Core 2 Duo 2ghz, 2gb ram - to be updated shortly)For $150 in store it was a steal for this capacity - I think there might be better options at the $196 regular price however.

Cons: speeds and access times are not much noticeable than my 750gb scorpio black hard drive.

Pros: 128gb at an affordable price
Comment:
not the fastest read/write times more like satisfactory. not meant for a high end gaming computer. In my next purchase the deciding factor will be speed and price and not capacity and price

Cons: Higher GB/$ price ratio, but that is expected with SSDs

Pros: Fast. Blazing Fast. No denying it. Also, quiet as heck (Like all SSDs)
Comment:
Okay, I am not going to sugar coat it.I installed this drive. My system setup is an AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE with 12gb ram. Installing Windows took about... 12 minutes (from DVD disk, that probably slowed it down)But this drive's performance is phenomenal. It's not the fastest of course, there are faster SSDs, but for someone who just wants to give an extra 'kick' to their system. As a comparison, my system boots with the following apps: Trillian, Skype, EA Origin (Which is known to be slow) and Microsoft's Security Essentials, and the system takes about 6-7 seconds to start em all.

Cons: Speed

Pros: 119GB usable. Size. Adapter.
Comment:
It's a 7mm SSD, thinner than regular SSD which is 9.5mm. It comes with an adapter that can be pasted on top of the SSD to make it 9.5mm, so it can fit in some notebook computers. After some tweaking in Win 7 64bit, here's the speed I'm getting with CrystalDiskMark 3.0.1:(Read/Write in SATA 2 mode)Seq - 265.2 mb/s, 172.5 mb/s512K - 208.5 mb/s, 104.2 mb/s4K - 19.75 mb/s, 25.71 mb/s4K QD32 - 85.04 mb/s, 25.10 mb/s*.Numbers are only for your referenceWin 7 index is 5.9 with the above numbers. The Kingston V100 64GB I have has a 6.4 rating, even though it is slower than the V200. Strange.
