None To get it to perform in Vista 64, you should boot to F8 and pick the selection that says load unsigned drivers. You have to do this every single and every single time you turn on the computer; not just for the intial installation but each and every time thereafter. Incredibly convoluted to make it function in Vista 64. I just noticed the device is labeled as a cable adapter. So I take back my criticism about the wrong cable finish. I did get it to perform, on the other hand it is very clumsy to do. For some explanation, the drivers they provide are not signed. Probably simply because Microsoft charges them for signing the drivers. .

- 2-in-1: Parallel & Serial to USB- well-built(+ Newegg rapidly shipping, as generally:) - does not support scanner- CD includes wrong drivers- USB 1.1 (usually, if item description doesn't specify USB speed, most most likely it's 1.1, not two. -- as in this case... not so crucial for this item though) getting both parallel & serial connection on one cable sounded like a great concept, so I ordered this adapter to connect my scanner with parallel port to my new personal computer operating 64bit Win7.it comes with modest CD that includes drivers & manuals for 6 various merchandise, NONE of which is this adapter (!??!). in addition, windows couldn't come across/install the driver automatically, so at this point I was ready to give up. following extensive on the web study, I managed to uncover the drivers on manufacturer's net internet sitehttp://www.sybausa.com/productInfo.php?iidwindows (finally) recognized the adapter...nonetheless if you plan to use it with your scanner -- don't bother... fine print on the package: it doesn't support scanners! this must be included in the item description, in which case I would order one more item.I'll maintain the adapter anyway, it's not worth returning it. I hope it'll work with other Win OS and parallel/serial devices. in that case I'd give it more eggs.hope this assist

Reasonable expense is only pro. Wrong connector for a printer (it comes with the connector that mates with a computer parallel port, not the end that mates to the printer).Supplied drivers on the disk consistently fail installation in Vista 64 bit.No internet support, tel no, or other support listed in packageing. Luckily the assessment ahead of me located support mainly because I couldn't. You want a parallel printer cable to use this device. Connect the cable to the printer, then the other end of the cable (which usually connects to the personal computer) mates with this device. Rather clumsy design.
