Cons: -Mouse was not working at first, had to go to the product website to troubleshoot -> Had to Reset Mouse Emulation Function [Scroll Lock]+[Scroll Lock]+[m][Enter] (Information also in Manual, but not so obvious)

Pros: -It does exactly what it claims it will do-Good price-Hot Key and wired Remote Button Control-Very Fast in Switching between PCs
Comment:
-This would not be the first choice device for those that require Dual Link DVI; i.e. 120MHz refresh. However, it may do the job for most, in most cases. I am enjoying 1920x1200, as the device promised. -I Purchased this unit to replace a more expensive competitor product (more that double the cost) and found it to switch time much more faster!-Could not get Wheel Mouse Port Switching to work properly without having to reset Mouse everytime -> Would be nice to have this feature, but not a showstopper for me; remote and hot keys work just fine.-Kinda cool, you can view your settings by opening notepad and hitting [Scroll Lock]+[Scroll Lock]+[F4][Enter], see below...hotkey:[scroll lock],[scroll lock]os setting:port1 pcport2 pcmouse emulation offmouse port switching offNot Tested: Audio/Mic connections, USB support and Hub sharing.

Cons: - audio handling not perfect (see below)- delay in switch of display (LG L245WP-BN 24IN)

Pros: + simple to use (1 button to switch systems)+ supports 1920 x 1080 resolutions+ handles audio (speaker jack), mic, 2 x USB and DVI+ no additional power supply needed (USB powered)
Comment:
I bought this KVM because I had two (2) computers that I wanted to use with the same display, keyboard and mouse (and optionally audio) - very simple needs. I wasn't looking for the most expensive option, or those providing more than 2 links, so this unit fit perfectly...pretty affordable for my needs. The unit was easy to hookup to my computers, requiring only a few minutes to install (and a few more to hide the cables). As long as your computers are relatively close to each other (see the item description) you won't have a problem hooking it up. At first, the mouse and keyboard didn't immediatly work, registering user input after approx. 8 seconds, but after that they worked great. The lit LED on the KVM indicates which system is currently targeted.Switches between the two computers is accomplished through the press of a single button. I noticed a delay of about 5 seconds during the switch, before my display was changed (went to black immediatly on the press of the button, then to the new O/S). Both systems were running the same resolution (1920 x 1080), but different operating systems (Windows 7 and Ubuntu Linux). While the display took about 5 seconds, audio was instant - media playing on both computers at the same time during a switch resulted in the speakers playing the new target systems media right away. Unfortunately I did observe some audio distortion during playback of audio from the media player of the previous target PC, when the non-displayed PC had its volume set to maximum and focus was on the other PC. In short, I could hear the audio of the PC not being displayed, albeit distorted, while viewing the other PC. Lowering the volume of the media player on the non-displayed PC to approx. 85% or less cleared this up (I could no longer hear the non-displayed PC's audio). Other than this, the audio of the displayed seemed to come through very clearly (note : I'm not an audiophile, so take this information for what it is).The microphone jack was tested, and again, switches in input was immediate - I did not hear my voice on the recorder of the non-displayed system while I had it recording. Granted, I did not yell into the mic, but I imagine it may have the same problem as the speaker output (higher gain may have an effect of distortion when recording on the non-displayed system - untested though). As well, if the computer that is currently being displayed is shutdown, an automatic switch is performed by the KVM over to the other system. Reboots do not result in the change of the displayed system (as expected). No issues observed during sleep or wakeup. In conclusion - if you're looking for a cheap, easy to use KVM to handle two (2) systems with DVI and USB inputs, this one may be the one you're looking for. I'm satisfied with my choice so far, and would purchase this unit again.

Comment:
I got this to upgrade from my old VGA KVM switch. It is working great and the DVI picture looks much better. I really like the included remote. I taped it to the base of my monitor and now I can switch PC's with a simple push of the button.
