Been using them for 2 days, got almost a 500go of data to burn. I've been burning for hours with 2 burners at the same time at 4x and 8x and no error. I used Nero, ImgBurn and Alcohol 120%. For ones who are wondering, the DVD Code is TYG02 (from ImgBurn). It's say I could burn up to 12X but I have not tried yet. Buy it you can't go wrong! |

Been using Taiyo Yuden DVD-R's for the past few years and have not had a coaster due to the disc. These discs may say 8x on Ncix, but I have gotten 20x on my burner, but usually burn at a slower rate for better compatability and the such. Save a few bucks during the ncix weekly sale, which they are on almost always. |

These are used by recording studios and post houses all over the world. We've used over 6000 of these with a failure rate too low to mention. The odd coaster we do get can usually be attributed to other causes. Do yourself a favour and forget other brands of DVD-R. Code TYG02. Do NOT get the value brand of these. |

Pros: Best price around for genuine Taiyo-Yuden disks. Comment:
Most people probably don't recognize this brand but in the recordably DVD disk world these are considered to be some of the best. #1 grade Taiyo-Yuden disks (like these) are the longest lasting and most reliable disks you can get for consumers. I would recommend these disk to anybody. |

I've bought many of these discs, and these are easily one of THE best brands of DVD media available! These discs produce a quality burn over & over, without fail, and in my experience, they often do it at a speed faster than their rating. There's really only ONE thing better than these discs.... their 16x version of the same thing!If your drive manufacturer recommends this brand, DO NOT hesitate to get some of these, because you WILL NOT be disappointed! |

I have been using Taiyo Yuden DVD-R media for 2 years and everything that was burned is still perfectly readable. Over time I used about 300 of them with Pioneer burner and not a single one failed to record/playback. These disks are among ones with the best compatibility with standalone players and consoles too.Highly recommended. |

Pros: these are great discs. Very reliable and haven't had a single coaster yet. The spindles are very well wrapped with no dust or particles on the discs. The quality of this media is definitely worth the extra cost. Comment:

a few things to note.burning at slower speeds does not necessarily improve burn quality. i learned this by doing some research on the internet and running tests on my burnt disks.i get best quality burning these disks at 8x.unlike other brands like memorex, and other crap, i can burn the full 4.7GB on this disc and not have any errors.i'd become accustomed to burning 4.2 GB only on my memorex's and other brands so that i would have readable data, but with these TY discs, there's just no problems.highly recommended discs! |

These are the only discs I use to burn. Not one coaster and almost done my third spindle (time to order another one!) I prefer these to the 16X as I get more consistent burns and I've found that some of my 16X burns on my Verbatims(!) were unreadable after a couple of months. Go TY! |
Bought this to burn a bunch of .iso's. No coaster yet, and 1/5 of the spindle down.Using Windows Disc Image burner. No need for fancy software!
