Cons: None so far

Pros: Inexpensive and functional
Comment:
I purchased this to replace my Trendnet 10/100 B/G router. It was easy to install and the settings were easy to change. The signal strength is great (I can now use Wireless in my kitchen, couldn't before due to a brick wall in the way). I have had no issues with this router. I expect that it will stay that way based on my experience with Trendnet products. They aren't exceptional but they do work and the price is unbelievable.

Cons: Shiny plastic casing shows dust and fingerprints easily if you care about the looks.

Pros: Easy setup.
Comment:
Took me all of 5 minutes to set this up. Enter 192.168.10.1 in Internet Explorer, setup the protection and passwords and that was it. Strong signal strength from the mainfloor to the upper floor bedrooms. Haven't had to power cycle it for any funny glitches so far like the Belkin I had.

Cons: Like all wireless router, you need to understand the "wireless world".

Pros: No disconnection since almost one year of use !
Comment:
Bought this in sale to replace an old D-Link G. This one is not expensive and do the work. Got a Laptop, my Sony TV and my PS3 connected to Internet via this router. Works flawlessly so far !

Cons: Range is lame, weaker than my old G router.

Pros: Cheap, easy to setup, stable
Comment:
An OK wireless router. However, you will struggle to stay linked if you go to another floor. Be warned that this is V2.0 and you can't flash open source Firmware.

Cons: - range is just ok- slow connections sometimes

Pros: - cheap- 802.11N compatibility
Comment:
I bought this a couple years ago, but it's been pretty good. Better than my old D-link G wireless router. I connect from my basement with usually 2-3 bars. It drops a few times a week though, even with computers near it. My Samsung Vibrant has trouble getting a connection with it as well. But for the price it's decent.

Cons: -Firmware

Pros: -Price-Ease of Setup
Comment:
I brought this router in and sold it to someone when it was on sale. The default firmware had frequent disconnects, but an update  fixed that.It was very affordable, and like all Trendnet routers, easy to setup. No complaints from the customer after updating the firmware.I would definitely buy again if it was on sale again - but lately EnGenius has been giving Trendnet a run for their money.

We have had this router for 3 months and it keeps dropping connections, wireless turns off on it and the unit just shuts down. TrendNET is not helpful in exchanging the router for a new one. They said its my wireless setup - it cant be. It is a WEP password and it connects to our modem. They said that because we are a business, we cant use home routers. Come on... it is just two of us in an office - we do not need a 5000 dollar router. Beware of Trendnet. I am replacing this router with another brand.

Cons: did not immediately recognize the wireless connections available, somehow she made it work :)

Pros: family member liked the compatibility with xbox and her PCs
Comment:
Xbox live has an online feature, but my family member wanted her son to take his xbox upstairs, and still play with his friends online. Works as advertised with N compatibility.

Exactly one week after purchasing, I had to call tech support because no one could connect their laptops to wifi with it. We have a usb modem connected to the desktop and the laptops all connect thru wifi. Once a week I have to manually reset the modem. For the complete process it takes about 4 full minutes to do this. They have a new router coming out later this year that I will be looking at that is made for the new usb modems to plug directly into them. Phone tech support for this is not very good, but the online tech support is excellent so if you purchase one, go tto their website and register it, don't wait until a problem happens.

I've had this router about a month. I don't have any n adapters yet but figured why purchase a G router when I can get N at this price. I had a netgear b router for years that worked well but I would require a on ave once a month. So far I've had to reset this router once also but other than that works well. My kids and I use 4 laptops now and they use their 3d educational games without the slowdowns we use to get with our old router

About 5 months ago I bought a very similar product by Trendnet and was very impressed with its performance as well as its competitive pricing. I moved recently and decided to trust Trendnet because of the previous positive experience, however I have been let down tremendously. What I got is a wireless router that is unreliable. When it works it works well, however it drops connectionc all too frequently. I guess it is a matter of luck and this time I was unlucky.

Purchased for apartment use while at school as it looked well priced and well reviewed (3-4 stars) at several websites. Pro: -Easy Set-up -Cheap price ($35 inc. shipping when I purchased) Con: -Could only use half the channels -Of the half that worked, routinely got kicked off -If a computer was turned off or moved to another network (say at school), you'd have to manually hook in and change channels to get wi-fi back up -Had to reboot every week -Tech support told me to check firmware (it's the most up-to-date), following inquiries were ignored, still haven't heard 4 months after inquiry. End Result: Paid $10 more for a manufacturer-refurbished Netgear RangeMax Dual Band Wireless-N router (WNDR-3300) instead.

Cons: doesn't work for me much of the time

Pros: has 802.11n when it works
Comment:
Getting daily disconnection. Needs to be reset constantly. I've tried changing to 802.11n mode only and use another router for 802.11g only but that didn't work, still dropped connections. It seems to take out the wired ports as well, since others would complain the internet is down -- resetting this router/switch along would restore the connection. More or less unusable in this state.

I've never set up a wireless network before, but within an hour of pulling this out of the box my home computer was connected to the wireless network! Good signal strength from across the house, and overall good speed to surf the net.

Initially had some trouble getting it to actually work. Called customer service and didn't have to wait long before someone answered. It took two calls to customer service to actually get the system up and running. The second guy had me update the firmware and everything clicked and haven't had a bit of trouble since. The set up and updating was real easy. The range seems to be much better then my old d-link g router.
