This adapter seemed to be a reasonably priced, versatile USB adapter that works on multiple platforms. In my case, I needed to connect simultaneously to two wireless networks on a MacBook Pro running Lion.The part that nobody mentioned is that Trendnet's drivers were last updated in 2009, and do not work under Lion. I highly advise not even attempting to install them, because even if it does sorta kinda work, the utility that you require to configure the wireless network adapter just gives you spinning pinwheels of death until you kill it.Instead, I had to determine that the chips in these suckers are RT2870/RT2850, make by RALink. From RALInkTech dot com you can find drivers that actually do work. They are kinda ugly and this does not slot nicely into the stock Mac UI for wireless (The way windows wireless adapters would, for instance), but once installed, this seems to work.By the way, the instructions tell you NOT to plug in the adapter until the drivers are installed and you have booted. Not doing this seems to cause a lot of frustration -- I didn't pay attention and had to uninstall the drivers and try again.
