Works much faster than my Linksys 811G but am disappointed price dropped $15 less than a month after I bought it. Also paid $30 shipping (ordered a refurbed HP desktop at same time that should have been free shipping but was charged $30 shipping for both items). :(

I have finally joined the wireless age and it could not have been simpler. Set up took 5 minutes and I have complete coverage inside and outside the house. No drop-outs, no re-booting ... as my younger brother says, welcome to the 21st Century.

I bought this product for my small business, mostly because I want to have a gigabit wired network. I have not run the wires yet, so in the meantime, I am using it wirelessly. I found the device easy to setup, and it worked great right from the start. I have thick walls in my office, and I am only using the router at wireless g speed, so I do find an issue with wireless coverage at the office furthest from the router. However, I am not complaining. I am satisfied with between 60% to 80% singal strength that I get, in an office 40ft away. For my present use, a great and reliable product.

Purchased unit with adapters to update my aging Belkin router to improve speed and signal. Found the setup didn't work as well as old one! Spent 1.5 hours on telephone with their Tech Support with no luck. They tried every configuration with old and new setup mixtures and settings. Every time, signal and performance better with old setup and products. They had not explanation.

Okay, I finally decided to loose the leash, meaning this is my first wireless router, therfore I have nothing to compare this to. Now having said that, for those who've never set up a wireless router, it was too simple, meaning that I couldn't figure it out, but once I called tech support they jumped right in with step by step instructions and had me up in about 5 or 10 min. There is no rating field for Support but I'd give them 5 STARS FOR SUPPORT. I'll learn more about the range abilities of this router as the weather continues to warm up and I take advantage of being off the leash by moving outside. Look for a follow up in a month or so.

Would not buy again. Laptop wireless is adequate in home. I had better range with my old netgear. My range has actually decreased for my network music players. Signal is much weaker in my detached garage player, also tends to lose server host PC. Player function lag time was never a problem now it is. Setup very easy Bought it for increased range(failed) Does not seem to suffer from wireless phone interference as did my prior router (passed) Wireless range is now weaker outside (failed)

Bought to replace an aging NetGear router. Aside from the first one being defective out of the box, this Router is great. Easy to install, very fast and so far, reliable. For the price, great value.

I upgraded from a TrendNet TEW-432BRP G router which was pretty old and dropped wireless connection at least once every week, requiring a reset each time. Since purchasing this new router, not only is my connection significantly stronger in the areas of my house that are farthest away (went from 1 bar of signal to 4 bars) but it has not dropped the connection since I set it up almost a month ago. For the price, it is definitely worth the purchase. If you can find it on sale, under $80 then it's practically a steal!

Bought this to replace my aging Linksys Wifi-G that was getting twitchy. The wireless-N coupled with the Gigabit ports equals really fast network traffic. Currently being used to channel a work-at-home office using VPN and VoIP clients during the day, and heavy media streaming and console gaming at nights... the router just keeps on going, don't have to worry about it. The biggest selling point for me was being able to look through the router's firmware menus that are emulated on Trendnet's website. I enjoyed seeing all the options the router has to offer before making a purchase.

This router is fast!! purchased a Roku and needed a wireless connection to stream Netflix and other stuff. I've seen other Netflix users that have to wait every little bit for the typical lag while the download catches up with the movie... Not this one! I've watched a couple dozen movies on netflix and haven't had a lag yet.

Replaced a b g with it and I can't get the same coverage. Just my first impression though. I've never set up an N router before, Also my son's hand held game can't link to it in N mode

While more expensive than my last router (wireless G), it is cheaper than most wireless N routers out there. Its simple in the way of features but it comes with the essentials. I did not know that if you put an encryption on your wireless N, the max connection speed is only 130mbps, not 300mbps. This is standard for wireless N though, not just this router. I've had my PS3, 4 laptops, an iPod touch, and 1 desktop connected at the same time and no lag at all. Great product!

Fails to work with Smartstreetpro a Schwab product. This I learned after several hours of describing the poblem and then isolating to the Trandnet 639GR router when plugged directly into one of the local ports. It is some sort of time out problem with the router and I cannot update the software either and thier customer service has never contacted me in any way.

I got tired of the old G router so I decided to try to improve things by going to an N router. Initially got a Belkin & it immediately ''bombed out'' & stopped working but this Trendnet-639 worked immediately. I have 2 XP computers & one windows 7 Pro 64 bit & this router configured fairly easily. The router does have MAC cloning and several other features to make the connections easy & secure. Couldn't be happier & the price was a real steal for around $69 bucks. Should have purchased this router first & highly recommend ! Thanks

This unit replaces an older DLink N-class router that finally died. Setup was a breeze. Signal has been strong and consistent from day one. The older unit required numerous reboots from day 1(more frequently near the end). After 5 weeks this router has never needed a reboot. Fire up the system and it is there. Rock solid performance.

I had to upgrade the firmware to get it off the ground due to issues with my video products connected through this unit. Gigabit throughput is lagging from issues with jumbo bits hanging up. Some key features are missing, but this is a firmware issue, and hopefully will be put in the future editions such as securities and priority controls. Wireless N is good, but seems to lack some of the distance reach that my last N router had. Strange for a router with three antenaes. It is a good router for the money though. I am waiting to see how long it lasts. That is the important thing to me since it is in constant use with my computer phone hooked on its client side. I run a NAS, 2 PCs, and three tvs on the system, and it seems to be holding its own so far. I only run two laptops with wireless, and the bandwidth seems to be fine.. just the short distance is the only issue I find. Security seems to be lacking some so I use filters to keep out bad people.

Im satisfied with the price and performance of this router. The only drawback is that it was a bit of a daunting experience to get my son's xbox 360 to work with it. Once connected however, it has performed flawlessly.

I have been using this item for a couple weeks now and it's great. Set up was pretty straight forward. Setting the security stuff was a little confusing but I made it through alright. This is the first wireless router I,ve ever had or set up and I had no major head scratching moments. Th router itself seems to be really fast and I have coverage all around my house and can't wait until summer to sit out on the patio with my laptop. I'm able to watch Netflix movies instantly with no problems and I am very happy with the product. Hopefully it will last a good long time.
