RedEye Mini Universal Remote for iPhone / iPod Touch / Ipad

I have to give this 4 stars even tho it should only get 3 stars. But I can't blame the device as the device works prefect. The free software app for the RedEye that you got to download on the other hand is nothing but crashes and buggy from the moment you start it up. But as long as the device is not defective then this is good as you can always update  the software when available or even look for 3rd party software that works with it.Now I got this on NCIX eBay outlet as an open box item. From the looks of it, it was only opened to show someone or to take pictures of it as it shows no signs of being used or really picked at. It was half price then and in all truthfulness, I think asking $60 for it is a bit much. But I wont dock it any stars as I never paid full price for it and $30 is a good price for it.Using it, was very easy. I had to remove my case however to plug it all the way in as the device is a bit bigger around. Once plugged in with the RedEye App downloaded, you just go in and start using it. You can even take your remotes you got and point them at the RedEye Mini and record the cammands for each button if you can't find the IR codes for your device.And with it key chain carring case, it a fun toy to have if you are going to the mall or wal-mart, even the club. Just plug it in, no one knows any better as they just see a phone. And just start playing with the TV's.All in all, it a good product, it does what it says but its software needs work. And it they were more cost friendly they do just fine, even with the bad software.
