Cons: -Screen has a habit of turning it self on-Really easy to turn off when puting it on standby-Polaris does not work with some spread sheets

Pros: -Screen is bright and clear-Super fast response-Excellent included features-Reading PDF files with polaris is awesome-Love the feel of the textured back
Comment:
This is an excellent tablet. It came ready to go with almost everything I need right out of the box. The Tegra games look awesome, and playing standard android games beats any experience I had on my smart phone. The bundled Polaris software is excellent and works better than Adobe for reading pdf files, though it seems to not like some of the spreadsheets I have. All in all a great tablet, I do not regret for a moment not getting the newer Prime instead.

Cons: screen easily smudged - but all tablets do - keep a cleaning cloth handy

Pros: iPAD2 conqueror, Speedy, widescreen for movies, excellent IPS screen, great for travelling, Netbook replacement
Comment:
One of the best tablets on the market. Currently supports the latest 3.2.1 Android Honeycomb. Android 4.0 Ice Cream should be supported fairly soon. This tablet is great for reading on-the-go, movies (especially with Netflix and LAN streaming), web browsing, and also a great reference tool for designers and developers alike. If you are thinking of getting a tablet for the holidays, go with the ASUS EEE Transformer. Can't go wrong with the keyboard-dock add-on - highly recommended for extra battery juice and typing up emails/messages/codes, etc.

Cons: lack of tablet applications

Pros: Excellent screen, snappy performance, great with the add-on keyboard

Excellent Android tablet, with good build quality, and a great screen. Paired with the keyboard option this makes a great, light netbook replacement.

Cons: Medium Weight, Hard to clean screen, charging port/cord

Pros: Battery Life, Great Screen, Design, Keyboard Dock, pre-loaded with everything you need
Comment:
Preface: I have had and used many tablets, the iPad 1/2 the Motorola Xoom, the Samsung Tab 7" and the blackberry playbook and this is by far my favorite. The battery life on it is awesome. The quality of the build is typical Asus sturdy and well built. All the pre-installed apps and keyboard dock have allowed me to replace my laptop with it when I am travelling. Without the keyboard it is great as well the screen is awesome for movies/games/reading and the speakers are a decent volume and placed on the side so you can hear it. The weight is in the middle of most tablets for comfort of holding and carring. The only major problems I have had is the battery drain issue when you leave it connected to the dock when storing it. The screen is hard to get finger prints off, takes some elbow grease with a solf-cloth to clean. When reading on a black background or watching a dark movie there is a little bit of light bleed on the outer edge of the screen.I would defiantly recommend this to anyone looking for a great tablet or a laptop replacement.

Pros: Fast firmware upgradenever run out of battery power if you get the dockadd memory with a microsd cardscreen is as good as the ipad2 screenruns flash unlike the ipad2, at time of review

This thing is great if you are looking for a tablet get this one but I would get the keyboard dock with it.Asus is quick to release the new version of android 3.2 just released the other day and I am guessing they will continue to be quick with the updates.I dont see why they put a back camera on tablets? who is going to take photos with this thing, the front camera is good for video chatting however.I also like how the dock works, when you connect the dock the battery in it will charge the eee pad battery, so once the dock is dead (from charging the eee pad) just unhook it and charge it again, this way you never run out of battery.

I don't normally review products, but this one is SO GOOD, I had to add my $0.02....DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER any other tablet this summer! Steve-oh should be britting shicks. This won't win over any Mac fanboi's, but they they are so blinded by the gospel of Jobs, that they will never convert anyway. For intelligent, discerning folks, there is the Asus EEE Transformer. The tablet battery lasts so long, that the keyboard isn't desperately needed, but you should get it anyway - it is of the same top-drawer build quality.Ken

Pros: Form factorThe keyboard is great!Good build quality

I've been using my 32GB Transformer for about a month now. I've loaded a few games and apps. It's very responsive (even more since the firmware update  v8.4.4.11 this morning).I've never used Android before, but I do like it.I really like the keyboard dock option, although it takes a bit of getting used to coming from years of Windows use. I plugged a Microsoft wireless notebook mouse into the dock and it worked without issue.I loaded the Splashtop Remote HD App and am able to remote control my Windows desktop via WiFi. Cool.So far so good. I am really pleased. Looking forward to further evolution on the Android OS.

Great build quality and specifications for the price. Will rival or beat any tablet out there so far. Only problem is the Honeycomb software. Still needs some improvements but will be fixed over time.

Cons: Build quality, camera, android 3.0

Pros: Screen, add-on upgradability, look and feel
Comment:
as the "Transformer", using this tablet without its unique keyboard dock station will not unleash its true capability. with the built-in battery inside the docking station and its carefully designed shape, the Eee Pad Transformer simply transforms into a notebook/netbook with a total 16 hours of battery life. the docking station also gives you access of 2 USBs, 1 SD card port. touch pad of the docking station supports multitouch technology. Highest resolution in current tablet line that uses IPS and LED technology give you a sharper and brighter experience. however the Build quality is lacking, no match to the Xoom and the Ipad 2. low quality camera is a pain, low framerates and some camera software bugs were fixed after the first patch but still having some issue. android 3.0/3.1 is still too young to compete with the iOS 4/5. bugs and lack of software support are some serious problems

Cons: - Need to upgrade to Honeycomb 3.1 to fix HD Youtube or any HD video lag- unable to produce smoothness when using live wallpaper such as thunder wallpaper and Rain wallpaper- Needs more HD support apps from Google Android market (nothing related to device)

Pros: - Touch is sensitive- easy to use and up gradable- Good price for quality tablet compare to other brand- Support 1080/720- paying extra money on the dock for better battery and USB feature highly recommended
Comment:
Bottom line is to upgrade to 3.1 firmware to fix couple of bugs and major fix for HD video lag.

Cons: - Short charging cable- Had some issues with the first batch and had to RMA it- Not as sturdy feeling when holding it compared to the other tablets- Video rendering is laggy at 720p and above, though hardware or software issue is not yet confirmed

Pros: - Excellent Screen with vibrant colors and awesome viewing angles- Smooth operation after updating to 3.1- All the included "bloatware" have a purpose- Once docked serve as an excellent netbook replacement for general tasks such as word processing and even spreadsheet (using Quickoffice HD)- Quick updates
Comment:
I really enjoyed using this for reading books, browsing, reading comics and taking notes in class. If you're looking for a netbook replacement that can also act as a tablet, this is for you. If you want just a tablet, it is still great, but might be a bit too wide. The apps for honeycomb have boomed within the last 2 months of my ownership, it'll only get better. I would definitely recommend this to anyone I know who is looking for a tablet.

Cons: Could be lighter

Pros: Great screen, good battery life, better options than the acer and samsung 10.1 tabs

I'm so glad I bought this tablet. Was going to hold out for the 16gb version but I would rather have the extra storage and performance with a bigger solid state drive. Buy the dock. It completes the experience.

Pros: - price- IPS Screen (best one out there)
Comment:
Having used the Apple iPad, this is a really great product. The screen is perfect for videos and photos and it has one of the best screens on the market. It runs on Android which is great. It's a bit bigger than the iPad but if you buy the dock, then you turn it into a netbook. I would definitely tell my friends to buy this over Acer, Apple, HP, Samsung, etc. since it's the cheapest out on the market and it runs flawlessly for now.

Cons: android OS is still buggy, slight light bleeding through screen, high gloss screen makes it hard to see in daylight. few apps

Pros: Great screen, light weight, excellent battery life, 2x usb, 1x micro sd, 1x full size sd.
Comment:
I just bought this 10 days ago and so far i am completely satisfied. I however am currently waiting for stock to come in as i had to return mine due to small manufactures defect on screen. Aside from the minor defect (strictly cosmetic) everything is working over and above what i was expecting. Since using this tablet i have used the Ipad2 and after compairing the 2 devices i find the asus tablet to be far better. I am an apple fan as well so its not that i dislike apple products. currently i have an iphone 4, macbook pro and mac pro desktop. Both devices have things that are good and bad but the only bad that i found with the asus product is that it can be a bit buggy (can be fixed with updates), the screen is hard to see in daylight as its high gloss and the fact that there arent alot of accessories available for purchase. Out of all the android tablets out on the market and ones that are nearing release this device gives the most options and runs far smoother then its compeditors. In closing if your on the fence between apple and android i would suggest giving this device a try.

Cons: Difficult to acquire these units due to high demand. Finding replacement parts is not easy (power adapter/transfer cable, for example). Integrated unit, so you can't remove batteries down the road for replacement.

Pros: Excellent size, great battery life (extended by the keyboard dock I purchased as well), lots of free Android apps from the Android Market, and easy to code for. Motorola Xoom, of comparable specs, is $100 more

Wonderful tablet, worth waiting until the warehouse gets them in stock. A definite must for Android/tablet lovers. Very versatile!

Cons: Proprietary USB Charging cable

Pros: Great build, screen, power, and battery life
Comment:
This is an excellent tablet, well worth the price. Video and internet loading times are excellent, although at present the current apps for Honeycomb are limited. The only problem with the Transformer is the short charging cable, which is also unfortunately proprietary, so it can't be swapped out for a longer cable from a third party. Compared to what the Transformer can do however, this is a relatively minor concern.

Cons: Short charging cable, can be hard to hold

Pros: Great screen, fast, easy to use, great apps, build quality
Comment:
This is a great Tablet. Couldn't ask for more considering the price. Very easy to read screen and very responsive. Its easy to navagate and does not slow down much when multitasking. The apps that ASUS included are great and very usefull. Very good build quality, and i am not expecting any problems with it. The bad is as stated above. VERY short charging cable. ASUS should really fix that soon. Considering its weight it can be quite hard to hold from one side. Other than that great product.
