Cons: A little heavyCable routing it outdated

Pros: Good lookingSurprisingly good cooling
Comment:
This was my first Silverstone case and it impressed me- for the money, it's a beautiful case. Here's my breakdown of the pros and cons:Pros- it's pretty; black brushed aluminum, metal buttons, drive bays are aligned nicely (isn't true of many aluminum cases)- it's heavy- there's a good amount of steel; this is good for dampening noise and only becomes a problem if you're carrying the case around (in which case, I would find something more portable)- great design for the hard drive cage; it's removable, easy to work with and positioned in front of a decent quality fanCons- there aren't many places for cable routing; you can squeeze the majority of them behind the motherboard tray, and tuck the rest in the drive bays and beneath the HDD tray; I made it look half-decent by the end, but it was a real pain to get it there- hard to transport; if you're a student or someone who moves often, you'll start wishing you spent some more to get something aluminumOverall, this case left me with a very good impression of Silverstone- for the price of most cheap plastic cases, you get a very pretty and well thought-out (albeit simple) case.

Cons: The front of the case scratches very easily. Included case fans only have molex connectors.

Pros: Classy looking.
Comment:
This is a beautiful looking case, but I think the front bezel could have been better designed. The front bezel is constructed of layers of aluminum sandwiched together in bizarre alignment. The case is also very heavy. Overall, I like it!

Cons: Hard drive bay encroaches mobo (will interfere with one or two of the drive positions when using a full size video card), footpads nice noneslip rubber, but extremely sharp edge just above the rubber pad contact area (will scratch desk if leaned to one side then moved/dragged), pwr switch not flush with bezel, included fans are only 4 pin (no rpm's). No light in the window version, you'll need cold cathodes or LED fans to get some light in there and show off your stuffs!

Pros: High quality manufacturing, tons of space for size due to extra width, excellent cable stash and well thought out routing options, nice quality glass on window version, elegant solid brushed aluminum front bezel, good collection of spare screws etc, much better "Piano Black" finish than Antec's, fan mounts are cut clear through the case -- no airflow blocking grating, included chrome fan grills for both side of the fans (4x total).
Comment:
I've gone few a through of these in the last year or so, and like ’em more every time I use one. With or without the window, these are truly the nicest case you can get for less than say $150. The fan mounts are cut clear through the case material, meaning there is no airflow reducing grating that block out a good 25% of the airflow in any other case. Modders have been cutting out this grating for years, as it truly makes a huge difference. No need to get out any power tools with this case, they are already knocked out. The two included fans are excellent quality, quiet yet move an amazing amount of air due to the clear holes. They also include 2 chrome fan grills each, as protection since there is no grating. The only drawback is they are 4-pin fans so you can't jack them into the mobo to get rpm's or control their speed with software like speedfan. With two builds using the window version, I swapped out the rear fan for one of Antec's LED TriCool 3 speed fans. With the fan on high speed, the amount of air they pump out of this case is staggering. Only 80cfm, but that's uninhibited true 80cfm blasting out the rear. No need to worry about the front fan unless you want an LED for lighting. At medium speed the TriCool is much quieter and still blasting air, and at low speed they are nearly silent and still moves more air than most systems. One system I left it on high, plugged it into the mobo and then control it's speed with speedfan. The other, I slipped the little 3 speed switch out the top PCI bracket where it hung in easy reach. Then, I ran the fan wire under the mobo, plugged into a 4 pin molex, and using the adapter I tagged the mobo with the 3 pin rpm wire.In the first unit I bought, I also added a Scythe Kama Bay to 3 of the 5.25 drive bays for a little extra intake (filtered ), the black intake grill on the Kama Bay looks excellent with the rest of the front bezel. The included front fan sits just in front of the hard drive bays but behind the front of the case frame, so it pushes the hard drives about flush with the mobo. Not a problem unless you have a full size video card and 4 hard drives -- where you will not be able to plug in the 6 pin pci-e power (or the hard drive power and sata cables) where the video card meets the drive. Therefore, you have to leave one slot in the bay empty where the video card falls -- only a real problem if you have 4 drives, otherwise you then have at least one slot open. The case is about 3/4 of an inch wider than a standard case, the extra space leaves tons of room to stash cables, run up and over the top brace by the top of the power supply, down and under the mobo, or behind all the drive bays. The top and back side panels are one piece, and removable which facilitates very nice access to your cables for super easy cable management. Get a PSU with long ATX lines (19 inches or more) and you can completely hide the ATX line until it appears out of nowhere to jack into the mobo. The front panel connectors include high def audio, 2x USB for 4x ports, and firewire. The little door covering these is a little rickety, in contrast to the rest of the thick solid aluminum front bezel -- I can see this eventually breaking off, and it will look ok if it is removed. The plastic drive lock mechanisms work fine I guess, I still use screws where I can and have never really felt the need to save 30 seconds by not using screws. They are removable with a little patience, leaving the interior looking cleaner IMHO. The purple is a little garish to me, but that is a personal opinion and I left them in for all the builds I used this case in.The power and hard drive LEDs are quite bright, adding to the elegance of the front. The power and reset buttons have a high end stereo amplifier look and feel to them, yet on the last case I used the power button didn't sit flush with the rest of the bezel, it was crooked (or tipped to one side) in relation to the recessed hole it sits in. I'm not sure if it was just a bad glue job, I didn't worry about it and let it go.The footpads are a nice sticky rubber, this case will not easily slide on any surface. The rubber is enclosed by a short cylinder of metal, adding to the stereo component look -- however the edge of the metal is extremely sharp and will cut your finger to the bone if you are not careful, as well as deeply scratch your desk if you tip or lean the case enough, and then try to drag or slide it. It's a heavy sucker, especially with a complete system using multiple hard drives. Can't be an issue, if it were you'd be looking at all aluminum cases. Needless to say, nobody will be running down the street with this in his arms after perhaps taking it from it's location without (ahem) permission. The glass on the window version is nice and thick with beveled edges and allen key studs holding it in place on the outside of the case. This will make it easier to clean when one wants it spotless. I am unsure of the material used, it certainly isn't cheap Plexiglas, but cannot ascertain if it is Lexar or something else.Last but not least, the paint on this case is a million times better than the Antec Sonata's faux "Piano Black" finish. This paint looks automotive with a good amount of clearcoat on top. It is quite waxable, and while it can give a near mirror finish, it does have considerable orange peel in it. Nothing more than you'd see on any car however, and I am sure it can be sanded out (the orange peel) if one had the time and knowledge..

Cons: - not completley tooless set up as it claims to be

Pros: - Design- Price
Comment:
Silverstone makes a high quality case. This case in particular is great for someone on a budget and still wants a case that looks great. The instilation was simple enough
