Cons: Motherboard tray not painted black, clear fans, limited cable management options.
Pros: Amazing build quality, precautions taken to ensure case arrived completely unscathed (protective film on BOTH sides of the window, for instance), relatively lightweight, uses green LED fans instead of the overdone blue. Comment:
The adage of you get what you pay for rings true here. The admittedly large price provides you with a case that should last for any and all future builds. Please note that if you want to swap out all the fans, the one enshrouded in the middle will require almost a complete disassembly of the case to do so. Silverstone has graciously provided a manual of the breakdown procedure on their website.If you value quality and want a case that looks striking despite it's relative simplicity, do yourself a favour and put this to the top of your short list of potential candidates. |
Got this as part of a system built by NCIX.Handled the Noctura NH-U12P SE2 cpu cooler no problem.Also managed to fit a Sapphire Radeon 5970 card with a bit of room to spare.Absolutely no regrets - as stated above - you get what you pay for.
