Cons: none !!

Pros: Really great range, easy install
Comment:
Buy this unit to replace my D-Link DWA-140 and the range is amazing, i don't need a 20' usb cable to plug my receiver and the speed/signal strengh is better than the DWA-140 v 20 feet and 2 floor more !!! my router is in my basement and this unit keep the signal at max speed and signal strengh when my d-link was only 1 floor and just up of the router and the signal was at anywhere between 3 and 5 bar depending on interferences...

Cons: large than other adapter

Pros: good range, easy to install
Comment:
as advertise it did boost the signal reception replacing my old adapter. the installation is quite simple and everything all setup. For the price of about 22$ it's a very good purchase. The only thing it's 2 times bigger than some other USB adapter.

Cons: a bit clunkyshort usb cable

Pros: high poweraffordable
Comment:
purchased this to boost signal from using regular external usb and this improves signal significantly. i can get full N spec speeds in the same spot other usb wifi sticks can barely get signal.

Cons: Can be faster for a 300n

Pros: FastAffordableStrong signal
Comment:
I have used this on XP & W7-64bits w/o problem. Installation was painless. It has no problem connecting to the router instantly. What falls short is the throughput. When compared to my notebook with built-in 300n, it is 20Mbps less. The notebook had over 100Mbps throughput while this adaptor hits 80+Mbps only when sits right next to the router when test with Lan Speed Test. I have noticed the connected speed drops to 216 as soon as there is heavy traffic, but back up to 300 when idle. Perhaps TP-Link was just being honest with its actual speed. Also, when inSSIDer 2.0 is loaded, the adaptor slows to a crawl. None of my other (non-USB) adaptors behave so badly but maybe this has to do with USB, I don't know. Without inSSIDer, it is fast without problem.Overall I think this is a decent USB adaptor which doesn't even get warn with decent speed, but I want to take full advantage of my TEW-691GR router so it was returned for the more expensive TEW-684UB. Will see.

Cons: Doesn't play well with Win7 64

Pros: It's great to have the option to move the receiver for best reception.
Comment:
Gave me some install headaches... but, after getting the driver from the rather sparse website, it installed fine. The reception is good and the antennas are good at directing the signal.
