Cons: none
Pros: it works, pretty cheap. Comment:
easy to install, and it works like its suppose to. Not much to say. Wouldn't buy anything else, unless there is something else thats reliably cheaper. |

Cons:
None
Pros: Excellent signal strength (typical installation though). Comment:
I purchased this unit with an NCIX custom build and it's worked flawlessly. It's being used in a HTPC connected to a router and NAS and it works perfectly from about 30 feet and through an interior stud/gyproc wall. |

Cons:
None that are worth mentioning
Pros: Does the job, easy to set up Comment:
This card was a great value. I didn't really need one (the PC I put it in is right next to a switch) but I figured I couldn't resist for that price. Set it up quickly (using XP) and it seems to be working just fine. I don't have any brick walls in the way though so who knows what performance would be like if I did? |

Pros: Setup and Price Comment:
This is a great product at a steal of a price. Good range and easy to setup with windows 7. Overall, I link it a lot. This review was modfied by poster @ 03-29-10 05:12 PM |

Cons: low signal
Pros: It is quite easy to install Comment:
The connection for some reason has a lower signal then my laptop and the utility program is not compatible with windows 7 64 bit. But hoping for future upgrades. It does the basic work, but i would suggest a D-link product instead. |

Cons: Driver sometimes hangs on Windows 7 if you disable the card and try to re-enable it. Sometimes it will refuse to show any wireless networks until I restart the computer.
Pros: Good wifi range, easy to install, good packaging. Comment:
Overall, I don't think that this is the best network card out there but for the price, you do get a solid-enough connection. I will have to try newer driver versions that are compatible with the Atheros chipset and if they are more stable, I would easily rate this a 4 or 5 star. |

Cons: Driver come with the card is garbage, do not use it!
Pros: Easy installation, cheapest N wireless network card, 3 antennas look very nice, work great after installed AR5008 Driver. Comment:
Been doing lot of research, tried out 5 different kind of network cards(WMP54G, D-Link DWA-556, WMP600N, and DWA 552), end up this little devil got the best ping, up and download speed with my dad's old computer AFTER installed "AR5008" Driver, and my dad's computer is 100 fts away from the router(WRT610N).You can just google it if you want to get that AR5008 driver and DO NOT use the driver come with the box. This is why I took a star away from this sweetie. |
In initially installed this in an old XP computer (AMD X2 4600+, Nforce 3 chipset (Giga-byte GA-k8NS ultra 939). Throughput and range is very good and can go up to 300 Mbps on 2 channels. However, the XP driver has problems with resuming from sleep or hibernate. The CPU load shows 50% on resume and only way to fix it is to enable and disable the driver. I swapped this card with a D-Link DWA-552 from my windows 8 computer. The D-link works just as well on the XP, with no issues on resume. The TP-link card works really well on the windows 8 computer as well with no issues. Tried other drivers (9223 based) with no success for XP.
