Cons: None so far

Pros: PriceSmall foot Print
Comment:
For the price of this router I can't complain, it does what it is suppose to. It is not a router with all the bells and whistles as more expensive routers. But for a basic router for the small home user its great.

Cons: Wifi randomly cut (working on the issue other users had same problem), very light weight so can easily

Pros: Cheap, not ugly
Comment:
Bought this for my mother that only need it for 1 laptop, 1 ipad and 1 cellphone (android). The problem is that since day one, wifi randomly cut on tablet and phone. Time and settings were changed correctly and I work in IT so it's not my first router (WPA2 enable, no WPS, good time zone, etc). Others seems to go through similar problems so I will try to follow advices but you should absolutely not expect it to work out of the box.

Cons: How can you fault a product that gets to your door for $13?

Pros: Simply cannot be beaten for the price, works excellent! Easy setup too. 2 wireless PC's and 2 wired PC's all gaming online at once with no hiccups or problems.
Comment:
Awesome little router, needed a new one fast and cheap as I had NO budget and our router died. Got it quick and setup was a breeze. There is no way to fault this device, buy one and you should be happy. Anyone that picks on it needs a slap upside the head, after all, IT COSTS $13 SHIPPED!

Cons: nothing really - for $12 you get a lot of features in a very small, inexpensive package

Pros: - Bandwidth management - QOS features are great, work well for prioritizing - ensuring no bandwidth hogs- 2 ethernet ports (yes a "pro" not a "con")- inexpensive- compact
Comment:
Great little router - especially for the price. It baffles me why people consider 2 ports to be a negative point. That's what the description says it has. If you need more than two ports, then you need a different device. This is obviously for someone running primarily wireless devices in the house, or running a switch downstream. This router is great for prioritizing/allocating bandwidth and the main reason I bought it. I have a pretty dedicated downloader in the house and relatively limited bandwidth. I have this configured so that he gets full bandwidth if its available, but gets limited if anyone else is using the internet. The multiple SSIDs are interesting. Didn't think I would have a use for one, but you can create  a separate SSID for guests.Overall a solid router as well- haven't even thought about it for several months. It was running solid for probably 9 months without a reboot until the other day. Other routers I've had have been hit and miss. Some would need weekly or monthly reboots. This one has been solid.Highly recommended- especially if you need to throttle somebody in the house :).

Cons: •150 Mbps, not 300 Mbps•Radio channel has to be manually set to match the main routers broadcast  channel when the TP-Link is used as a wireless Ethernet bridge / extender•The router itself can’t connect to the Internet wirelessly when used in WDS mode so the auto time setting function can’t be used (devices connected to the LAN ports CAN connect to the Internet through the main router)•WDS mode purportedly cuts the overall wireless network speed in half…not sure if that’s true in my case

Pros: •Inexpensive•Small•Snazzy looking•Works well as a wireless Ethernet bridge / extender (WDS mode)
Comment:
This is a very handy, inexpensive way to bridge two Ethernet devices (e.g., Blu-Ray player) wirelessly to a LAN and the Internet. In my bedroom, I have it hooked up to an older Blu-Ray player that doesn’t have Wi-Fi and a WD TV Live media player that has always had flaky Wi-Fi connectivity (which they are notorious for…if you’re contemplating buying a WD TV Live, you might want to look at other options like Roku or Apple TV). The only cons are as listed above. The inability of the device to connect wirelessly to the Internet is no big deal since it only affects the auto time setting function, which isn’t needed in my case. I have also ordered the four LAN port 300 Mbps version to use as a wireless Ethernet bridge in my living room.

Cons: firewall not enabled as default

Pros: easy to set up. reasonable performance.
Comment:
Did a quick comparison to my Linksys E1200 I expected a significant difference between the two and was surprised at how well this inexpensive router performed. Both routers were configured with static IPs for WAN and firewall enabled. I found that I was able to get full internet rates on the wireless connection to both routers. The range to comparable. I did notice that the tp-link did not handle wifi interference as well as the Linksys, performance suffered when another router was transmitting on the same channel. Also tried the tp-link in "bridge mode" (i.e. nothing connected to WAN port and internet connected to LAN port) and found no difference in performance.Good little router for someone with a limited number of wifi devices, especially devices only capable of N150.

Cons: poor performance if used as bridge

Pros: nice looking, cheap!
Comment:
bought this to use as a bridge for my home theater, was very unstable but when it was working, speed was enough to stream FLAC files...for the price it's still alot better than a wireless G router IMO so if you don't have many things to actually plug (wire) into it then it's probably a good buy, then you can have wireless to your smartphone, tablet, TV, laptop, etc. wen you're at home

Bought this one to install at a friend place. He has more than enough with 2 ports and 100 mbits but it's a thing to consider if you have multiple wired computer or need the extra speed. The UI is impressive for a router that price. The wireless speed is good and stable.Really awesome router for the price.

I bought this on sale two weeks ago for my Mother-in-law and finally set it up yesterday. The set up took all of 10 minutes most of which was opening the package and reading the instructions. The actual setup was a breeze. I have nothing yet to report performance-wise but her new laptop is now connected and she is surfing away without a hiccup.

Cons: 2 lan ports

Pros: price, design
Comment:
Opening the box, the first thing I noticed was a Cat-5 cable for this router. Yes, not Cat-5e. Though it likely will not make much difference using it to connect to your broadband. The simple clean design is appealing, with wall mount screw holes on the back (no screws). What is very nice about their setup (not the CD setup) is that you don't have to know the IP address of the device, it has a hostname. To setup, just use browser at "http://tplinklogin.net" (http is necessary here) and login with the default user/pass and you are set to configure this router. That info is written on the bottom for permanent information.Options on this simple router are quite good and it has all the features I was looking for (of course I did my research, and so should you). This is designed to be a wireless router first, and wired router second: Keep in mind the 'con' is 2-port lan. There are multiple SSIDs available and common security, port forwarding, dmz and other settings.Performance on day one is as expected. I am not planning on doing any testing as the need I have is minimal for this device, thus the most minimal device was selected.

Cons: Not for heavy bandwidth applications such as HD video

Pros: Inexpensively does the job without a hitch
Comment:
I bought and set up this modem for a friend living in a studio apartment. It was relatively easy to set up and connect and works well. It is perfect for browsing the internet, which is its main use, but could fall short in high bandwidth applications such as hi-def video.

Pros: Nice looking, small, cheap.
Comment:
Set this up to extend/bridge wireless range into the bedroom. Worked great once I disabled DHCP ... for a few hours. After 8 hours of being powered on, it suddenly became impossible to make a wifi connection. Reset the router and it currently appears ok. I'll report back with an update  over the coming days, and if the stability is good I'll improve the score, but as of now it deserves a 2/5 and I would not recommend it.
