This PSU is quiet and it has a lot of cables for all of your demands Non seriously I purchased this to replace a terrible 350w PSU that came with my case. Chances are if you obtain a new computer system case, you will end up replacing it. If you do, then appear no additional then this PSU. Its affordable and properly worth the money. I have utilized it now for properly more than a year and it has not had any troubles what so ever.

Good hunting, and feels solid constructed. Lots of cables. Quiet when operating. It runs fine initially, the Computer is light loaded, with 1 95W processor, on board video and only 1 really hard disk. Until the 4th day, when I turn off the personal computer, it won't start out once more. And check the PSU with a multimeter, its ƳVSB stand by doesn't have any output, per ATX spec, that ƳVSB really should always be there no matter the PSU is turn on or off. Get RMA it, end up paying shipping cost. Now I'm running on a PSU from other brand, so far so excellent. It is designed as modular cable, I would choose to have the SATA power rather of the 4-PIN Molex peripheral energy as permanent.

Solidly constructed. Quiet. Each the fan and electronic noise are acceptably low. I don't hear any loud clicks, pops, whines, hisses, chirps, and so on. that I have had with prior energy supplies. No egg-breakers here. I'm nit-pickey but could not come across a single concern with it. I went by means of all the negative comments and I'd like to attack them one by a singleɅ) "DOA or failed soon after a quick time" -- ALL energy supplies have a failure rate. If it's going to fail, it's normally inside the initially week. Set your personal computer up to play a DVD in a loop even though running a couple of antivirus searches and defrag at the similar time. Let it run a day and burn it in. If it fails, get a new one.two) "Modularity" -- You knew what you had been receiving when you bought it... fixed and modular cables were properly spelled out.3) "I didn't get to buy one?!" -- Wow, seriouslyɺ) "I bought five and three failed." -- Liar.five) "I've owned this item for five months and it failed." -- Liar. 6) "Why not combine the 4 and 8 pin ATX and EPS connectors into a single cable bundle?" -- Okay, I'll give you that one particular. Silly.7) "Two extra modular Molex cables & only one SATA??" -- Effectively, that's what my specs stated I was receiving? Did you not read the specs? I did.

Nice 80 PLUS BRONZE certification for efficiency. No problems so far, and it's the quietest of many fans in my new method. Fit and finish is of a higher quality. As other have said, I don't like the permanently attached molex/floppy lead on a newly-made "modular" energy provide. I don't need it, and it's just a different cable to tuck away somewhere. That selection puts it at about 4.5 eggs for me, but because I got it at a great price, I'll round up. My final PSU was the 380 W Antec that came with my original Sonata. It served me completely for 5.five years, with the fan just beginning to tick a small at the finish. This PSU is powering:EVGA X58 SLI LE (E-757) motherboardCore i7-9303 x 2GB G.Talent 1600 DDR3 SDRAMMSI R5770 Hawktwo x 7200 RPM HDD + 1 SSDDVD burner3x120mm case/CPU fans

There's a lot to like about this unit. Numerous 12v rails, some modular leads, 120mm fan. It's cool and quiet. I agree with the other reviewer who said the ATX leads should be modular. I don't use the eight pin connector either, so it's shoved aside, and I have a smaller sized case, so there's not a lot of locations to place it. Also, for a energy supply, this unit is heavy. I'm certain that's required to have many 12v rails and it doesn't bother me that significantly, but it is.Also, I didn't discover any facts on which rails the fixed leads are on. It'd be good to know if they are all on one particular rail, or if they're separated, and *how* they are separated, if so.

This is for a replacement technique to serve as a mediaserver and house automation controller. I bought this energy provide since it has slightly much more energy than I need - I do think that PSU's are a lot more efficient at the upper finish of their range. I am never ever going to require multiple video cards in this technique. And it is 80+ bronze certified. The method is in a closet that has minimal ventilation so heat generation was crucial to reduce. The noise level is a lot much less than the 5 year old system it replaced. I like the partial modular strategy of connectors. I did use all the hardwired ones and then got to pick what I wanted for the rest. Cable length is excellent, and the cables look nice. It's not 80 Plus gold certified - but I'm not confident any PSU's meet that typical correct now. Worked with no difficulties. It has a giant bundle of wires that was not possible to hide, so things are a bit clumped up. But my Antec 300 case has good airflow still.

80 Plus Bronze - at my electric rates at 24ǝ operation each watt saved means ũ saved per year.Quiet fan - can not hear it more than other fans in an comparatively quiet method.Hybrid modular cables greatly lessen (not eliminate!) cable clutter when maintaining solid soldered connections for important method energy.five year warranty! Hope this line of power supplies can reside up to that lifespan. None yet... Located that my old power provide and a salvaged spare (both Antec) had suffered extreme drops in efficiency most likely due to the capacitors aging. The technique was drawing a peak of 750w from the wall with the old psu and now sips significantly less than 250w with the TP New 550.

Semi-modular design and style tends to make for a cleaner set up. No additional unecessary wiring to tuck away. I'm speaking about you, four-pin Molex plugs!I'm strictly a SATA drive user, so possessing 9 SATA power plugs readily available is a massive plus for me!Supplies steady power and retain cool doing it.Low-cost! (Even prior to the ฤ rebate I have coming) Non *fully* modular, but for the cost, it's hardly an situation. No other issues.

Strong construction, consistent power output, modular accessory cables, silent operation, outstanding Antec warranty Not seriously a modular PSU as also quite a few cables are tough-wired...all mobo power cables are hard-wired as is common, but a single strand of Molex power cables and a different strand of SATA power connectors are also hard-wired as nicely as a PCIe. Tends to make it much more troublesome for a neat install. I received this power provide as a replacement after two of 3 NeoHE 550 PSUs I had died (which is why I'm a little bummed about the lack of modularity). Nonetheless, Antec honored their warranty without having situation in each situations.

Wonderful energy supply...Comes with a 8pin connection if you require it for your motherboard which i didn't know i needed but i got fortunate for ordering this..also can support sli and crossfire but i purchased one more unit for that so it would take power from other devices. however my case has the energy provide on the bottom and i installed water cooling on my graphics cards and it leak into the power provide and poped...that's my fault.

Antec warranty/customer service group did a good job honoring warranty and returning the psu incredibly rapidly. Extremely impressive client assistance and warranty service turnaround!! Now about those mail-in rebates...

Neweggs price tag, service and delivery. A great deal. Shell shocker, cost-free shipping, rebate. You can disconnect the cables you don't use. Makes cable routing less difficult. None. Antec tends to make decent solutions. I have applied their smaller sized (basic) PSU's just before. This is the very first non-Corsair I have purchased for a while. It will pull it's weight.

Tons of connectors. Partly modular so case clutter is lowered significantly! The remaining cables aren't that terrible if you have a huge case like I do. I can see if you're using a smaller ATX case you may be a bit displeased with the extra cables.Verified the connectors of the PSU cables, great and straight. Not a single bent make contact with.Continuous, steady and rather cool. I was playing Aion and CoD4Ǜ all on Medium/High. Hardly a temp distinction. The noise level it emits is equal to my last PSU, Thermaltake PurePower 480 AD which isn't loud but it's not silent either. The noise level is really very good and not distracting. No cons towards the item itself. Nevertheless the actual Antec PSU box AND the shipping have severe crushed corners. The packaging was decent, foam all around except for the leading component exactly where the crushed corner was. I checked the PSU to see if it was deformed and it seems to completely fine, no problems. I wanted a high quality and powerful PSU to last me years. Hope it does that.

Several SATA and Molex connectors if you intend to fill an Antec 300 or 900 with drives.
