Very good wiring, has adequate cables to help anything in my Pc. Fitting almost everything in was fantastic, but I identified that the MOLEX connectors were Really unstable. They moved about a lot and made it challenging to connect. The most unimpressive aspect about this power provide was that on just about just about every MOLEX connector, the metal prongs came out when I connected it. So then I have to take the tiny cord and shove the prong in, and it is extremely tough. Extremely unimpressive. I emailed them for a new connector, but they replied with a quite long email saying I would have to spend for shipping. Even if i did replace it, I would have to replace all of them, not worth the time; but neither is taking the five minutes connecting MOLEX.

It was operating fine, until.... one day it stopped working outright. The motherboard light was on, but definitely no response from the power button. No HDD spin up, no fans, not a thing. Thermaltake will be glad to supply you warranty, as long as you have a copy of the original receipt. I looked up the make and model of PSU and no doubt, Numerous failures of a number of unique nature. It's a small sad that these names are putting out inferior goods riding on their reputations of the past and then burn loyal consumers over trivial issues like this. I didn't comprehend, like my taxes, when it comes to thermal take I have to hold on to my receipt for five years just incase the PSU dies. Don't believe that if you spend more than 100 on a PSU that you're necessarily finding very first-rate quality or support.

Just received it today. (Feb. 15, 2011) This power supply has failed after again, two times so far. Not only did I not get any power after plugged in, when I pressed the power button on the front of my case a long tiny whine sound came from it. It lasted about two seconds and ended with a pop sound and a spark flew from the back of the power supply and a tiny smoke came from the power provide. I dont know if this will alter your choice, but Im going to RMA one particular much more time, and if this one particular is defective, Im not purchasing it from here once again.

It runs quiet, stable power. Poor good quality, switch on the back feels low cost, 4 pin connector short, generic affordable sleeving. Went through all of the suitable motions to obtain my rebate, even so my rebate was declined and deemed that there was no proof of buy. Clearly not worth the time to mess with thermaltakes poor consumer service and 3rd party rebate scam.

Seems comparable to other Thermaltake PSUs, very good wattage and such for the expense On very first beginning the PSU, there was a extremely cloud *crack* sound followed by a continuous grating noise. Turns out the fan was smacking against the grill, as it was slightly deformed from the factory. It appears to function somewhat, but there is a continuous clicking/grinding noise any time it is turned on. Occasionally it's faint, at times it's really loud. Annoying. Sadly, have to RMA. Superior develop high quality would be excellent, specifically the fan and connectors, otherwise I've had no complaints with Thermaltake PSUs.
