Cons: - When used with the Xbox 360 with the chat cable plugged into the 360 controller there is always a weak, yet a bit annoying noise.

I bought these headphones recently and all I can say is that it's my best headphones-purchase to date. I was previously using the AX360, which I though were great, but the AX720 is way better: it feels better on the head, it seems more sturdy, the microphone is a HUGE (REALLY HUGE)improvement over the one of the AX360 and the sound is also better.All in all it's a really great buy from my point a view! |

Simply awesome. Looks great, sounds great. Wires a bit cumbersome, but I'd take that over constant battery replacements / recharge and that annoying hiss with wireless headsets any day. |

I really like this headset. Overall a great purchase! It has perfect audio for games and movies. specifically MW2, footsteps are twice as loud as my old headset. And the surround sound is really immersive and makes MW2 that much better. I play on PC, so i cant comment on consoles, but it looks as the other 2 guys already have for PS3. Its a good price for what you get, I recommend! |

This headset was a great buy. I could hear things I never knew existed. I generally play on low volume because I don't want to disturb others in the house so these headphones allowed me to game loud without distracting others. Something that was slightly annoying was the hiss I would hear on the PS3 XMB when idling on the main menu. It went away in game though. All in all, this is a great buy! |

Killer output, great surround performance. Easily rivals my home theater for ambience and positional audio.Have only tested with U-571, and Pearl Harbour on bluray for movie listening. Loved every second of it.The real reason I picked up a pair was for PS3 gaming. Extremely simple setup to get everything working. Voice comes through perfectly clear with the included USB. Individual voice volume is SUPER. Most I've sat through was a little over 3 hours and no fatigue worth noting.Spacial positioning is pinpoint in CoD:MW2. No longer do I need to have my home theater cranked to hear footsteps and directional clues. Incredible headphones. |
Well I have had this set about a month now and I have found the one weakness with them is as I stated above. If you find the hiss to be too much make sure you don't use the game/movie and music setting and only the first light should be on. I did that and was able to crank the headphones and amp to the max with no hiss. The down side is you lose a lot of the bass and environmental sound when you do that. I thought it was a problem with the amp and exchanged them because that's what the tech support said to do. My new set did the same, so it just the way it is. The hiss goes away mostly once your game/movie start so it's only in the PS3's XMB that the hiss is very noticeable. The tech support was very good, it took them about a week to respond to my first email, then it was with in a day I got reply's to my subsequent questions. The mic can be removed and voice are very clear.I buy these again.
