Puts a very good sound system to use on my netbook. Does exactly what I expected and more. Powered thru the USB port and I even hang it on top of my screen when working on my lap. |

Needed something to listen to some background music while at work that didn't involve a lot of cables and plugs to pack up and put away at the end of my shift. It fit the bill for what I needed very well. If you want something to fill the room with rockin out music keep looking, this is just a very nice handy small speaker system. Wish it had an external volume control. |

I bought this for use with my laptop in making classroom presentations. Works flawlessly right out of the box and the sound quality was actually much better than I was expecting. No it's not a high dollar BOSE system but if you are looking for something that requires no additional batteries, stores easily in a laptop bag, and provides good sound quality in an average size classroom this will more than meet your needs. In addition in a smaller room the sound is very good for listening to music or viewing movies. |

Simple installation - just plug it into the usb port. Have used this with XP, Vista, and now Windows 7, with no problems. Good sound for the money with just usb power. |

We watch lots of TV from my wife's macbook and needed speakers that you could actually get some ok sound without to much cables dangling around. Here the tritton sound bite shines. It's great little compact speaker, we still have to crank the volume up on it quite a bit and you hear it is a small speaker, but it's definitely reasonable sound. Sometimes the Mac OS does not recognize the USB sound output and you have to switch it manually on the computer but that is only a minor hassle. Overall, I would get it again any time for that price. |

Sure, not as good as other bigger, full size speakers, but for the price and the size, you will not find better sound, at least I did not. in addition, this is a single box unit, so the cable never get tangled, considering it is moved around a lot, it is a big plus. I am very happy with the product and will buy another if I need portable speaker. Only thing is that the USB cable seems to be not well attached to the unit and sound will stop if I pull the code a little. other than that, it is perfect. |

I was looking for a travel speaker for my laptop, and this one turned out to be perfect. The USB power is very convenient, the quality is surprisingly good, and the price is more than reasonable. I just plugged it in and it worked right away. I really like this product. |

Kind of a disappointment, but what was I thinking I was going to get out of USB powered mini speakers. No distortion, but honestly, the loudness is quite limited, moderate bass response. They definitely beat my laptop speakers (Lenovo Y550) and are handy for watching DVDs for dialogue; but special efx and music are not impressive through these lil guys. But again, $25 for USB powered compact speakers, I'd replace them or buy them for a friend, no doubt. |

Small, well built, dont feel like your gonna break it if ya drop it...sound is outstanding for what it is..it aint a bose or a house stereo, but as a traveling professional, this thing works perfect for me in my hotel rooms. |

good sound, compact, and 25 bucks. those who want better sound may want to pay up. these are perfectly fine and people always ask where i got it. you can use your computer to adjust the sound as needed. (on the itunes equalizer, set to "dance" for the fullest sound) |

If they were more powerful (like 5W or 10W) then they would be about perfect -- but then they would likely require a separate power supply, which would make them less convenient. I hope to use these for small presentations (groups of 25 or less). They are a definite +++ over the (internal) lap-top speakers -- and the USB-plug and play capability is excellent |

Tritton Sound Bite Portable USB Computer Speaker
While not a hifi system, it works excellent for the size. I use it to watch TV via my laptop, and even at volume 1 setting it is plenty loud and sounds great ... a huge step up from the internal speakers, which annoy my ears after 10 minutes. The built in USB cable coils in it's own groove on the bottom of the unit, making it great for storing and packing for travel. I will be definitely be taking it with my on my next business trip.
