Cons: Odd setup method… kinda finicky and instructions aren't exactly clear as they copy/pasted windows instructions for mac section but didn't change the words!
Pros: Speed, Size, Encryption!!! Comment:
This unit is spectacular! It's a dream to have, 128 bit encryption on everything at a hardware level… compatible with everything, just like a normal USB drive. I absolutely love it! |

Cons: USB2 is not very fast, hard to configure at first
Pros: Secure, light Comment:
If you really want something secure, this is the way to go. But the initial setup was a little hard to do.The drive comes with 2 keys, a little screw driver and a pouch to protect it.Works great with OSX and Windows XP |

Cons: 1st unit didn't work, but rma'd it and the 2nd unit works well as long as you use the supllied cable.
Pros: looks nice and has a nice pouch and cable set, and 2 key fobs.light, cool, fairly fast. Comment:
I seems I originally received a defective unit, but the replacement unit is great. Paired this to the seagate 160gig 5400rpm sata drive from last weeks sale. It's quiet, fast, and seems to run cool. The cables it comes with work fine with other periferals as well, although the cable from my card reader doesn't seem to pass enough voltage for this unit. I'm using it with my xp desktops and my eeepc which runs xandros, so I did not use the encryption mode that this unit has but it works well. This review was modfied by poster @ 03-21-08 10:54 PM |
Great enclosure, I am using it with a western digital 160gb drive had laying around. I am getting excellent speeds (around 40mb/s write). This is a great drive and I highly recommend it!
