This flash drive worked for about two months before the the data on it from my PC started getting corrupted. I lost a lot of valuable data on this lousy drive and this has never happened with any of the other 6 USB drives that I own. Oh and forget about using the encryption feature (which is supposed to keep everything on the drive secret) as the encryption program it comes with is SO SLOW that it takes hours to to encrypt just a couple of gigabytes. I'm not exaggerating - and you can't stop the program once it starts and you realize you can't wait for the thing to complete its encryption. Nor can you delete any folders or files once they become corrupted. Nor will it work for more than 30 seconds at time with my MAC BOOK PRO. this is now totally unreliable and unusable. I won't buy another thing from Transcend.

This flash drive worked for a while, and while it did it was the slowest flash drive I've ever seen. It never worked properly with my Linux systems, and made some of them freeze up when it was inserted. Then the data on it started getting corrupted. Soon after that it was unusable, so I reformatted it. Now it works to get about 16GB on to it, then corrupts all the data and has to be reformatted again. And it still doesn't mount properly with my Linux systems. It's basically useless.

I have yet to get the software working correctly. Every time I plug it in, if I click on secure zip, it completely locks up my computer. I have now uninstalled all the software and formatted the drive and it is still extremely slow when transferring information.

I have both the 32GB and the 64GB Transcend V20 flash drives. They work flawlessly, are reasonably fast, and solid construction. I would strongly recommend Transcend's V20 Flash Drives to anyone looking for large capacity for digital Photo backup or other large flash drive needs. I am looking forward to the 128GB model. --BobJ
