I was overall impressed by the performance of this device running on my win 7 hp laptop. Easy setup and install! The only thing that is disappointing would be not being able to get full screen output on my laptop screen while streaming cable tv. Great for recording shows! This does work with Windows 7 without installing the provided drivers that came with the system.

Despite what the box says, this doesn't work with Windows 7, and the Diamond website says that no support is planned (once you search long enough to find that statement).

this is a great tv tuner I would definitely recommend this product. I am using it with windows 7 and it works great,I just wish it wold work with digital cable and not just analog. That's why I gave it a 3 on features.Overall it's great.

Easy set-up and with the software installed on both my Notebook and my Main PC all I need to do is switch USB cables when I want to want TV. Occasionally need to reboot the unit. I now get TV with Steroe Audio (if broadcast) which I didn't get with the Haupagge Card.

I bought this because it looked like a great deal. I got it out of the box and hooked it up only to find that the included software doesnt work with the 64bit version of Vista. I tried to find some new drivers and software but much to my surprise, those didnt work with Vista-64 either. This is a Diamond product, so I tried thier site and they didnt even list it as one of thier products. Either I got an old version that they no longer use or its so new its not on thier site yet. After several hours of tinkering and many blue screens of death from a driver conflict from the atinavrr.sys file, I finally got it working with Windows Media Center. The ATI software never did work, and although it says it does digital, it couldnt differentiate between the analog and digital channels from my cable company. Im sure others will have better luck since most use 32 bit versions of windows.

the tuner itself is an excellent value and works great. however the catalyst software that comes with the device isn't as stabe as i would like. i use it more than my regular television and i really like it. its a much cheaper alternative to a brand new DVR.

I needed an external antenna for use with direct broadcast TV, but this product is designed to only work with a computer. So, I returned it.

It has worked very well for me. The over the air broadcasts are the closest thing to high def that I have had. I also had an ATI graphics card old one with 256k, but it works well with it. My only complaint with computer TV is that one has to fiddle with it for a while to get the best picture. Other than that I would rate it a 5 if it acted more like a self adjusting TV. For $50.00 it was a bargain.

everything installed fine on my xp pro os. Scaned all the regular channels but not the HD channels. The DTV was able to pick up 4 digital airwave channels. Very basic. The DTV channels have a better picture than the analog cable picture.

Worked great using win tv but couldn't get it recognized by Windows Media Center. Called Hauppenage and they gave me some instructions. When I followed them the device was recognized once but I never got a picture in WMA so I gave up... Operating system - win 7

This unit worked great on Windows 7 even though the manufacturer's drivers aren't used. Occasionally (twice in two months) I have had to restart the unit because of a 'Low bit rate' message, but other than that I have no complaints. Hopefully the Catalyst drivers for this model will be available soon for Windows 7

worked mostly as soon as I plugged it in. Using on Windows 7, even works with Windows Media. The software that came with the TV tuner is alright but th e program feature won't work. Works fine with Windows Media. I would buy it again and would recomend to my friends

I've had 2 previous tuners used on various machines with disappointing results. However, this Tuner used on a Windows 7 Machine with no upgrades WORKS PERFECTLY...!!! I have canceled my monthly TIVO and COMCAST PVR accounts. This TUNER is now my primary HDTV input. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you're SERIOUS about switching permanently to the WINDOWS MEDIA CENTER TV format for unlimited storage of TV Programs and movies on your own hard drives and have a dual core processor with a decent video card. OUTSTANDING HD PICTURE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE...!!!

Using over the air HD antenna - I needed a product to watch and record TV on my comuter, and through my computer to a 48 inch flatcreen. Found the best channels using the Signal Strength indications from Windows 7 Media Center - so positioning the antenna was less hassle then ever before. Actually have antenna connected to a splitter that feeds the TV and the 650 Box, picture quality is comparably perfect between the 2. Could not care less if it was green. Never expected a remote. Shipping was fast like always from your site.

Very fast shipping. Device color is WHITE not black. No remote included. Please add accurate photos for this item, including a photo of the box, as the listed model number is misleading. Works okay for Windows 7. Install was easy. Analog cable setup was easy on Windows Media Center. Digital cable does not work. High Def antenna channels worked at very good quality only on Catalyst Media Center, but not Windows Media Center. Software, driver support is very poor. Updated drivers are needed. Not suitable for connecting game consoles. There is lag, so game consoles are unplayable. White color is not too bad and remote may be unnecessary for some anyway. Overall, 4 out of 5. Review process is a Pain in the rear end.

Excellent for the money. Copied installation CD to the hard drive because sometimes the PC loses track of the device but if you run a re-install from the hard drive it takes less than a minute.

I was not able to install the software, it hung in the middle. Diamond Tech support was very hard to reach, and when I did, they had no help for me. I gave up after 3 days and shipped it back. I had an earlier version of this product that had worn out, and that one worked great.

I am stationed in South Korea and I needed something that would turn my computer into a television. It did just that. I have both the analog and the digital tuner connected and the picture is great on both. Does not come with a remote so I connected a wireless mouse which does just as good as a remote. Great piece of equipment and my entire family is happy. We would buy again anytime.

This product impressed me when I installed it on my XP machine, but then I upgraded to Windows 7 and was impressed even more. I've begun using this in place of my regular DVR. Your storage is only limited by your HD space (2 tb in my machine). Also, I can now access my tv, movies, photos, and music all on one machine via remote control. It's a sweet deal. Make sure you have a good video card though, slow cards have difficulty processing the impressive HD.

The TV Wonder HD650 USB HDTV Tuner does a good job once connected, but it is a struggle to get started every time it's turned off and turned back on. I have to reboot the computer or at least, go thru the SetUp process every time I try to connect. The picture is very clear with clear sound when it's working.

Record and watch live TV with WMC, Catalyst does a poor job recording and watching live. Catalyst Media Center is great for playback, I love the 1.2, 1.4, and 2 times with audio feature. I've used the PCIE model on my desktop for 2 years without a problem.
