In the first month i noticed a marked decrease in my power bill. I had a ton of components plugged in and leaching power even with them not in use. By my estimate it will pay for itself in another month or so! |

The video for this product says you can use it to save electricity $$ with your TV and that you can plug your receiver etc, into the Smart outlets. BUT if you do that the receiver will lose all its stored programming !! Therefore the unit cannot be used for that purpose. |

My dlp tv did not work with this power strip when plugged into master outlet. My dlp tv only has 2 prong power plug. I think the master outlet needs a 3 prong power plug. I got this to work on my 3 prong lcd tv and computers. |

I bought one and then a couple more after I saw how well it works. I put my machine on hibernate and it shuts down everything connected (I used a powerstrip to extend the smart ports).
