Cons: The heat may move if you move the case around.

Pros: Cool and quiet
Comment:
No problem cooling Q9450 with over clocking. Suggest to pick a silent high air flow fan such as "Scythe Slip Stream Kaze Jyuni 120MM Fan 1200RPM 68.5CFM 24DBA"

Cons: -bottom plate had major spooning

Pros: -Cooling-Doesn't get in the way-Having the option to choose your own specific fan.
Comment:
Instructions were ok, there's 2 types of screws for socket types, didn't indicate which ones for which.Bottom plate had some major spooning going on, just shy of 1mm on each side when sitting a straight edge on it. Some tend to lap it anyway, but personally if it's within reason I don't bother, like my CPU was very flat, However, took the time to lap the cooler. Most manufactures supply fan(s) that is just not good enough, keeping main product they specialize in high in quality and having the option to purchase your own personal choice is nice.

Cons: - The thing is a tank, it's BIG. Make sure your case can accommodate it.- Pretty big and awkward to get seated properly.- Fan clips can be a little difficult to get on properly.- Doesn't REQUIRE lapping per se, but it would certainly help. Mind you, this'll void your warranty.

Pros: - Amazing cooling for an air-cooling solution- Looks pretty nifty
Comment:
Great CPU cooler, the temps on this thing are beyond impressive. With a Q6600 v 3.42ghz (380x9), this thing keeps things to about 25° (tcase)/25-30° (core) idle, and 50° (tcase)/50-57° (core). And that is WITHOUT lapping, so this just goes to show how insane this beast really is. This is one of the best choices for CPU cooling, short of a water-cooling set-up. Very impressive product. Cons: None

Pros: BEST of the Best can easily beat alot of Water Coolers too.
Comment:
Best heat sink ever i use it on my X2 4800 too over clock and never had a problem...This does the same job as some expensive water coolers... oh dont forget to add a nice 120mm Fan to it..

Cons: somewhat large

Pros: Incredible cooling, looks cool
Comment:
I`ve had this attached to my qx6600 for over a year now and it works amazingly. I have my processor OCed to a qx6850, which is a jump from 2.7 gHz to 3.01 gHz, and this thing keeps my processor under 50 degrees C even in high summer. Winter time temperatures sit below 40. It is slightly large and you need to ensure that it will fit in your computer case, but if you can, I would recommend it.

Cons: Cost/size/install requires some skill/REQUIRES FAN!

Pros: Extremely good cooling
Comment:
I bought this for my q6600 which was sitting between 35 and 40 degrees with the stock cooler with the case temp in mid 20's. I also used a 120mm ~130CFM fan, which even though it is noisy is something i HIGHLY recommend. as of now my cpu at stock speeds idles between 20 and 25 degrees, climbing to 30 maximum on full load.I should also point out that this cooler requires a fan, wihtout one you will see no where near the possible cooling levels, all in all short of water cooling, this is about as cold as it gets.Thermalright will be the first company I will go to for any cpu coolers for the foreseeable future.

Cons: Only enough fanclips for one fan to be attached, but holes along the edge enough for two. Perhaps you could attach two if you have some paperclips and some dexterity. The black edition has more fanclips but costs more.Expensive, worth it for an avid overclocker but for a moderate overclock there are cheaper alternatives

Pros: The best processor heatsink available as far as cooling goesReasonably smooth base without lapping
Comment:
For the best overclocking results short of a good water cooling setup, this is the heatsink to get. I would recommend buying a 1600 RPM fan such as a scythe s-flex which is what I use - it is reasonably quiet. If you aren't overclocking a lot, you may be better off with a cheaper hsf, such as the OCZ Vendetta 2 or Xigmatek-S1283.

Cons: Heavy, may warp motherboards with unreinforced cpu sockets. Fairly expensive for those who don't intend to overclock to the max.

Pros: Very good cooling efficiency. One of the highest performing air CPU coolers around.

Cons: Huge

Pros: Excellent air cooling Great for overclocking
Comment:
I have this in a Antec Nine Hundred case with two fans attached.I had to dremel the fan in the case door because there wasn't enough room for the fan between the 120 and the door.I would buy another, provides good cooling.

Cons: -BIG-need to lap to get full potential

Pros: -Good performer-Good quality-Complete accessories
Comment:
The size wouldnt matter when i m using a full tower case, but it's a problem when i changed to antec 900 as the top exhaust fan would hit the HSF if i m installing it right-left orientation. Now i m having it bottom-up orientation. And i couldnt install another fan for my side windows since it will interfere with the HSF as well.

Cons: - HEAVY- BIG- Fins are very SHArP- MUST use fan....

Pros: - Works well- very good quality- Looks good
Comment:
I've had this for awhile now, works very well recommend with a FAN. To keep performance re-thermal paste atleast once a year. Watch for the fins they can cut your hand very easily...

Cons: Difficult to mount correctly, did not give good results until lapped

Pros: Very very good temperatures
Comment:
Very good temps but required lapping and many attempts to get it mounted right. Quite frustrating at first, found out it is a common problem with this heatsink.

Cons: Overall, its pretty big and you need quite a large case to support it, unless your keeping your setup on a tray and not inside a case, than its all good to go. Besides that not much other things are bad about it. However, it is quite heavy, so placing 2 heavy fans on it, could have the potential of breaking your processor/motherboard. Would use with caution before jumping right into things with this awesome heatsink

Pros: If your looking for the ultimate cooling solution for your blazing hot processor, this is IT right here. This thing dropped nearly 20C on my processor its ridiculous. Extreme performance for a moderate price. Definetly would buy again and HIGHLY recommended.
Comment:
Over all, is an awesome heatsink. Drops an extreme amount of temps but is pretty big. Definetly recommended for those over the top overclockers pushing their processors 2Ghz+.
