Moves LOTS of air. Whisper quiet. Uncomplicated set up. I get to take it apart someday.28 cfm is a lot far more air than I believed it was.14 dBa is a lot quieter than I believed it was. I am just shocked at the overall performance of these fans. They blow so considerably tougher, and are so significantly quieter than I anticipated. I purchased 3 of these, and they are all great. They came with self tapping screws, so they had been uncomplicated to thread in. Are you kidding? I should have bought two far more to replace my power supply fans. They feel seriously nicely constructed. They don't have any flex in the blades, and the frame is relatively flex totally free as well. I attempted to take 1 apart, but failed. I'm just not brave adequate to pull as tough as necessary. I pulled quite challenging. The 3ǚ pin connector is the way to go. I'm working with one particular as a cpu fan and one as an exhaust fan with the three pin connectors so that they can be throttled by the OS, and one as an exhaust fan with the four pin so that it runs at full speed. They are so quiet although that I may possibly not throttle them at all. I've heard that PWM is not so great for 3 pin fans. I think I'll be emailing the manufacturer to get their opinion initial. The clear fan blades are really fairly. I think they would appear just awesome with LEDs in them.

Quieter than the fan it replaced. Decent airflow. Operating at 1700-1800 rpm? Not certain if this is the fans fault, motherboard, or PSU? It's nevertheless quiet at this speed, but I'm sure it would be even quieter at the rated 1500 rpm.

inexpensive ?? i have never utilised this fan, just believed i would chime in and clarify something. the cause you are having larger rpm's and a lot more noise than regular is likley due to how the fan is mounted. if the fan is blowing air via anything (case, grille, heatsink) it is going to have decrease rpm's than listed. the opposite is accurate for sucking air by means of anything, it doesent have as significantly air to move in this situation, as a result. it becomes easyier for it to rotate and there is your improved rpm and noise. if you took the fan out of the case and ran it in mid air you would see your listed rpm.

Quiet, quiet, quiet, and pretty decent airflow. Fans come off for cleaning. Fans blades are not quite easy to get rid of. Can be noisy when very first installed. I purchased 3 of these to replace the stock noisy fans in my HTPC. They are extremely quiet, and I don't see them becoming problematic due to the kind of bearing applied. Airflow appears decent for a quiet fan.The blades are removable but it appears you would have to use a bit of force to get them off. They did rattle a bit also when initially installed, but that seemed to fix itself soon after powering the machine off and back on.All round I absolutely will get these once more, and also possibly the 12CM model.

Quiet and seemingly nicely-built. Got them when I rebuilt my media server to lower noise, now I can't hear them at all inside the case (granted, I have 52-year-old abused ears). I won't obtain low cost fans once more. Doesn't blow as substantially air as most fans, but that's anticipated

In a best environment, i.e. in my hand, it runs wonderful. When mounted, it slows way down and becomes very noisy. It seems that any slight strain on the casing causes this challenge.

Quite quiet compared to the old fan I replaced. Good cost if you acquire more than one. Great if you want a quiet fan. Doesn't move as considerably air as my old fan (But I knew that). I took out my old fan and replaced it with two of these to more or much less equal the airflow of the old fan. Just be aware that you will need to have much more than one for significant air flow in any given direction.

I can no longer hear my Pc sitting under my desk on the floor. They replaced a six Logisys fan that had 30CFM and 28 DBA. The noise only detecable if you get your head within 1 foot of the tower. Unless gaming when CPU fan speeds ups, but then the sound of game drowns out the CPU fan. case temp went from 40c to 41c. The noise reduction was 100% for me. The case temp of 1 degree raise no biggy more than my sanity. System: Spec 939 opteron 165 overclocked to 2.9 ghz on air.

I bought two of these to get the bulk discount even although my new case only has area for one particular further 80 mm fan. I'll use the other one to replace a fan in my old case. It is incredibly quiet which is what I wanted considering that I'm not running anything that will get super hot. Doesn't push a entire lot of air, but I knew that when I purchased it. I was looking more at keeping it quiet. I use it to draw air in the front as the 120 mm at the back of my case does the heavy lifting. I read on one more review about maintaining it away from hard drives due to some magnetism, so now I'm going to go residence and check on that...

I'm utilized to the roar of my computer system, but now I can hear my CPU and GPU fan.I have a knob to increase the voltage to the fans and even when I max it out I can't hear any difference. None however. They look slick, usually the fans are frosted seeking but the clear is good.

Fantastic fans if your aim is not to hear them. I'm not obsessive about fan noise, but these have produced a massive distinction.- Completely silent fan; no vibrations or hums- Incredibly low airflow noise; closest to total silence you will locate- Great airflow-to-noise ratio- Decent airflow- Installs facing either way- 3-to-four pin adapter included- Wonderful for use w/o fan controller: silent at full speed I wouldn't advise these fans if you are operating a low fan count in your program - to get enough airflow going you will need multiples.- Price could be a concern for some, but they're far much better fans than less costly 80mm offerings- Require to use multiples to get affordable airflow going- Airflow could be much better, but is possibly highest doable for how tiny noise this fan makes Take benefit of volume discount if you can, you will want additional than one of these!I'm working with two as side intakes and may well be installing a third; couldn't be happier.

Inexpensive, incredibly quiet. Not extremely sturdy...feels like it would break quite very easily if you handled it roughly...so don't! :) I picked up two of these for บ...can't seriously beat that value for actually quiet case fans.
