it fried in less than a week, up until then it worked most of the time. sometimes when the AC kicked on it carried the load in battery mode for a couple of seconds, and when the ac load balanced it went back to ac mode. now and then it would not carry the load and the computer kicked off! then yesterday i was in the middle of boot up and it popped and then smoked, that was it dead now!! trying for an RMA. we will see on that! |

this was recomended by my pops. Japan's power is slighty different than the US, so having one of these is nice and is easier on the PSU supposely. One side of this UPS is not affected by it being on or off which is nice. The other side is for the important stuff. nice and cheap and was smaller than i expected. |

This UPS may not be powerful enough for a full office set up, but for your home computer and printer needs, it can't be beat! I plan on reordering extra ones for my television and any other expensive electronic device. Last thing; the battery is a whole lot less expensive to replace when the time comes! |
