Great laptop with long battery life. Good for 10 hours. So for no problems. You'll need to keep a soft cloth around to clean up the finger prints. |

Got it a month ago, works perfectly fine, I dont know why people are complaining about the touchpad, it seems fine to me. The Backspace button is not smooth as the other buttons otherwise amazing Battery life, really impressive! Thin and light and looks cool,too! The reason why I decided to buy this Laptop is because of the 2 year warranty along with it, you don't need to pay extra! Conclusion is that a laptop with these specs and this price is a great deal! Shipment was quick as hell!! |

I wanted a lightweight laptop with high resolution and a large enough screen to read the news, view videos, create work presentations, etc. (I'm not a gamer.) This is perfect for that. It fits in my tote bag and stays cool enough to actually use on my lap. The mousepad is very hard to get used to; an extremely light touch is all that is required. I would probably have chosen another laptop if I had known it would be this sensitive. But, I'm glad I got it and can learn to work around this one issue. Overall, very satisfied. |

Light, good looking, great price, excellent manufactures warranty (1 year accidental damage warranty included), I have had no problems with the touch pad, but the optical drive is difficult to open (hard to push the button), overall an exellent labtop and i would recommend |

I was looking for fairly light laptop with an optical drive, and a long battery life to last me through lectures without having to fight for the few outlets, and this was it. It lasts me a whole day at school. The screen size is good and there's enough space for the average person. The only downsides is that it's really prone to fingerprints, and the screen is a bit glossy under some conditions. Overall, I'm really happy with it. I'm also a first-time Windows 7 user, and it's been really enjoyable so far! |

Amazing long battery life and machine is packed most features required for a destop replacement and mobile solution and has beautiful display, etc. Beside the fact that at time the keyboard typing is a little bit capricious, it is an amazing machine. |

I am not a gamer, nor a tech savy person, but this laptop works for me. I am a general user, but this laptop looks sleek and works great. As a disgrutled ex-HP user I am very happy with Asus thus far. Windows 7 is wonderful! It is a good size and lightweight. It does get finger prints, but it doesn't bother me. and yes the mouse pad does take some time getting use to. But overal I highly recommend this computer. |

This laptop was had all the features I wanted within my price range. It is easy to begin use, has great speed, and is unbelievably light weight for a comptuter with 14-inch screen and CD-DVD drive. My only dislike was the mouse buttons. They were difficult to toggle, and the trackpad with all of its features was not something that I found easy to use. If you always use an external mouse, then this would be an excellent machine. |

light, fast pc, great price. it gets dirty with fingerprints all over right away, screen is too glossy, and dvd reader not very handy to open. besides when I use a dvd pc becomes much more noisy instantly. speakers and microphone not too good, but I am really happy to get a light pc, long lasting battery with all I need for such price. touch pad works well, I read of unhappy reviews but honestly, just get used to it. best deal I could find compared to HP and Dell, greatly happy of my choice! |

Bought this laptop to replace a Compaq that blew up. Much better performance, but a bit lacking in the plastic shell and keyboard which are not solid. For an Asus it is under performing but I am overall satisfied. |
It is my first ASUS laptop. I know this brand is famous for its netbook, but this laptop is really a surprise to me. It has the face recognition log in. Quick start up for internet surfing. All these are really impressive. The only thing that I can complain about is it doesn't come with bluetooth; otherwise, it is a perfect notebook for me
