Excellent product. With this paste and cpu cooler to manufacture a copper plate, fixed my HP tx1000 laptop. Working at full power the cpu and gpu, maximum reaches 86 C, before working in the least power reached 99 C and off before 20 minutes. On average, now works at 66 C. |

Got this on sale for 13$ so price wise it's inline with what I would expect to pay. More $ would have been too much. Performance is good initially. The paste is on the thick side but very usable. Maybe heating the paste a bit might help here. The applicator is not long enough to reach the bottom of the glass container. The label on the container is blocking the view of the product, I had to remove that and now I can see the bottle was half full and I can grab some paste a bit easier. Used it for a VGA card cooler. |

I bought this for my dual core CPU in a new build and it works perfectly. It does what it is supposed to and helps keep my CPU at a comfortable operating temp, so I'm very happy with the purchase. I will buy again for my next build. |

The cost to me does not matter when my cpu is on the line. This magical cure all temperature compound is great and I really wish I could buy it again. Worked well on my latest build for a quad core. Just wish they would sell this again at a lower price and i would buy again. I hope they put this on sale again as I am running out fast. |

Cheap, effective. A little goes a long way. Use orange goop without water if you get it on your hands. |

This stuff went on smooth and creamy, like hot butter to toast, and within minutes i was running Age of Conan nice and smooth. I used to fix pc's in the military, and I can honestly say Ultra Thermal Gel is better than the military grade gel I used to use. |

It doesn't jump through hoops, scale small buildings with a single bound, or even outrun fast trains. It is a good quality thermal grease that has an applicator the keeps the slimy grease off of your finger tips, while your trying to build a system. It's thermal grease, not the next gen processor. Good stuff. |

Arctic Silver, and others comes out of a small syringe, and then needs to be spread out, which is messy. Ultra Thermal Grease has a brush and can be painted on the heat sink, which does a much cleaner job. |

I agree with the majority of the reviews here. The bottle is definitely not full to the top, barely half if that. But if you're only doing one processor it gets the job done no problem. I had to fight to get the compound on the brush, but the little bit went a long way in covering the processor adequately. I'm sure I could do several more before having any problem with it running low. |

I barely got enough out of the bottle for one application. It comes with a cheesy brush applicator that doesn't pull enough product out of the bottle each time it's dipped, so you spend an hour trying to get enough paste out to make one application. The product was also clumpy. Next time, I'll buy a tube. |

I purchased this when I purchased the bare bones kit any being unaware that the kit itself had some thermal gel with the CPU. I really didn't need it. It is still unopened. |

Seriously do your homework on this stuff. This brand is junk. benchmarkreviewsDOTcom for a list of the best (and worst) ones. Ultra got a D out of 80 tested compounds. |

This tiny bottle doesn't seem to have enough gel for even one application. Luckily the cooler I purchased came with thermal compound so I didn't need to use this product. |
perfect!!! very easy to apply! 42c is my average temperature!
