I am using this with my KVM switch attached to an older PS2 keyboard and USB mouse. It works great! Tried other adapters and had MAJOR problems. No problems at all with this one! |

I bought a computer with no PS2 port. The splitter enabled me to keep my old familiar PS2 mouse and keyboard. You can then plug both into one USB port. |

Finally, I can type on my keyboard without a delay. I'd been using the ATEN adapter and getting the biggest delay on my ergonomic keyboard. Very annoying. This one doesn't give any delay, and oh-so-simple. |

Everything was fine for about a month. Then occasionally the keyboard input would stop working. Wasn't worth paying shipping to return a 13 dollar item for which I don't have the original packaging so I've written it off as a loss. A no-frills USB keyboard is about the same price or less anyway. |

I thought- What am I gonna do? Ive got this great keyboard that's only about four years old with some wonderful at your finger tip features, but it has the PS2 cord and of course it's not usable with my new computer. This adapter was a life saver! |

It allows me to connect my new laptop to my old PS2 KVM switch and thus to my keyboard and mouse. I can switch back and forth between my laptop and desktop using the same keyboard, display and mouse. |

This works for simple keyboard and mouse configurations. Although this did not work in my situation where I needed the PS2 keyboard port to run a hand-held bar-code scanner. Since I have had other splitters work for all situations I gave this product a low rating. there are better brands to handle this same type of conversion.
