Continuing my molex journey with the current model. My previous was a MADDOG 600watts, with my old PC, This new one is doing the job of a feeding a VGC of 350watts & a CPU of 140watts. I know there are bigger ones, but heck..how much power those other need?? LOL. Feed the need.

I received this one as a replacement for a X2 750-Watt ps I original got on sale for $80 about two years ago. Register it right away for the lifetime warranty. Can't go wrong with the full modular design, classy looks and the lifetime warranty. Also it has 64 amps of the 12 Volt rail, not 55 as listed here. Read the box before posting false reviews.

Don't let the ad fool you and do your math. 55 amps on the 12v rail for an 850 watt system is pathetic. You can buy better power supplies for less money.

I bought this psu in December of 2008 and have not had a single problem with it , either in gaming or normal use. For the price I think it is an excellent psu. Like the fact that it has a good exhaust system and modular cables .

I got this power supply for my new build and was pleased. at first. one month later and now my rig shuts off at random times when gaming and the psu makes a zapping sound when the video card is running. i should have listened to my buddies when they told me not to skimp on the psu. i have learned my lesson. i just hope it hasnt screwed up my other hardware

Bought this for my new build and it has exceeded expectations. the modular function is great for cable management. Has not failed me yet! Could come with a couple longer SATA power cables for the full towers to reach the drive bays.

I'm not having any problems at all with this. This thing works flawless. They give you plenty of power cords as well. Mine does not make any sounds or goes dead. Sounds like the reviewer that said that probably hooked up a power connector backwards. Anyhow, my only complaint was that I got this for xmas and by the time I opened it and installed it had been past 30 days to get the lifetime warranty. I called them and explained and they wouldn't budge. I told them I would be sure to pass this disturbing info to others online. So here I am!

you will get a bad product on ur first delivery. if you dont believe me read throguh these reviews. almost every person had to return their first product to get it replaced. when i bought this i didnt have money for a gcard at that time, so i hooked it up to my build, on my first start it sent my computer in a restart loop then worked fine. a month later i bought a new gcard i hooked it up and turned on the computer, as soon as i bench tested my card, i heard a clicking noise, like an electrical imbalance and my screen shut and my gcard wasnt working. it not only damaged my mobo but also i am not able to register the product becuase its beenn more than 30 days.. andthey dont register it after 30 days.. i am more or less screwed do not buy, its not worth the hassel!

When Video card under stress, my power supply makes a horrible clicking noise. This is worse than any fan, and almost sounds like sparking. Sale price was much much lower than retail so i figured it was a good product. Packaging very nice, the power supply looks great, and the modular nature makes my case clean. One power connector is too short in my bottom mounting case, so i needed to buy a costume extension cord.

Ecellent product, especially the modular feature. Has the durability necessary for extended daily use. I typically use my computer for 8 hour stretches and have had no overheating or power fluctuation problems.

Looks great, provides ample amounts of power for nearly any machine, and the pre-cased cables are a great plus. Let us not forget, of course, this wonderful power supply is modular, so you don't have to deal with clutters of extra cords anymore! (I've been running it two months now, and it hasn't given me any problems.)

I bought this power supply mainly to replace the mess of wire from my old ultra 850 watt psu. The benefits of this psu were instantly obvious. I was quieter, barely noticable over the sound of the cpu fan. It was also cooler that the old psu by about 5deg in case temp, although this could be due to the orderly way that i was able to route the cable freeing up airflow through the case. i would recommend this psu to anyone needing a quite, neat, cool power supply.

This power supply is a shiny beast, the cables are long enough to run cables to any part of your case. I have it mounted in the bottom of my CoolerMaster HAF 932 and I have the cables hidden behind the motherboard tray and they still reach the top 5.25'' bay. RECOMMEND TO EVERYBODY Don't skimp out on the power supply, buy an X series Ultra PSU

After having to call a couple of times to get free shipping as advertised, the 18 dollar fee was refunded. I am quite happy with the PSU. It is about 2 inches longer than the toughpower 600w I replaced so make sure you've got adequate room in your case. I had to move my radiator-fan assembly. There should be enough cables for any configuration - the selection is very nice. It is not 80 Plus rated, but for $100 I think it's a very good value.

I needed to upgrade from 450 watts and this 850 filled the bill perfectly. The mass of cables from the old supply were eliminated and using only the cables you need really cleans up the inside of the case. The cables are flexible to route them in such a way as to eliminate any air flow restrictions. QUIET! After powering up I had to look to see if it was actually working as the noise level is all but non-existant. So far, the best supply I have ever encountered.

My old cheapo psu was loud as a jet. After switching to this ultra psu, my pc is now almost completly silent. only sound is from gpu and cpu fan. Runs my 2.5ghz core 2 quad, gts 250, and 4g ddrII ram flawlessly. it is about the same as loud as the cooler master silent pro psu, which is really quiet. I got it at 99.99 during the pink friday sell, which was really worth it. definently recomment

I purchased this for $100 on Pink Friday. The deal couldn't be beat. Has multiple of every connection and more than enough power to go around. I have an AMD set up with dual ATI 5870 cards. It is a large power supply but it is one of the quietest power supplies I have ever used.
