I have had this product for a little over half a year and use it on my desktop. The size is kind of big but in the back of a desktop its not a problem. However if you are picky about color dont order (thats the reason for a 3 on features) it said black and along with other customers mine came in white. other than that it has been great for me.

this product works great and is easy to install not sure why it is over sized, which can limit port options on some laptops.

I've had no problems since I purchased it about a month ago. Setup was a little tricky on Windows 7 but not bad. Great unit for the money.

You can't beat the price, but this device is difficult to set up. The directions are not in English but you can eventually figure out how to set it up from the CD. I found that by using the windows connection console rather than the one specific to the product, it was easier to configure and manage. Using the windows console I was able to set up automatic connect and to select wireless network very easily. Once this was done, the device works fine.

I installed this on a computer running in our kitchen. It gets about a 55-60% signal strength from the router. The connection is constantly dropping, and won't establish a reliable Internet connection for more than 2-3 minutes. I updated everything I could (drivers, XP updates etc.) but to no avail. A deal that was too good to be true - look around for something better!

I suppose those of you who are very savvy have no problem installing a new peripheral without instructions. I am not one of those people. Having instructions in five languages, none of which was English made set-up much more time consuming than necessary. But I got it working. My biggest complaint is that each time I restart the computer (it's a Dell Dimension) I have to access the wireless card and re-enter the wireless network code. I have it on my desktop in Notepad, so I just cut and paste. But it's a real pain. Other than that, it works beautifully, and I am very pleased. Amazing that this little USB plug-in can link me to a router 4 rooms away.

to big to plug into laptop;no drivers on disk, for pc use--thought that it would be plug and play, not pay and pray.

I have nothing but good things to say about this product. It was very inexpensive and it works very well for me. My internal wireless adapter in my laptop went out so i purchased this product and it connects very fast. I am glad I purchased this product and encourage others to do so as well.

Hard to rate so just gave 3's all the way. The unit casing was too wide to fit into the USB port when the power cord was attached right next to it...just not enough room, so am sending it back

I've been using this for a month on a reincarnated Windows 7 desktop. As other reviewers said, the one sent to me looked very different from the photo -- the one received is much flatter and wider. I bought a USB hub to prevent the wireless adapter from obscuring all of the closely spaced USB ports on back of the computer. Otherwise, works without a problem.

This adapter works perfectly. Our wireless router is on the 1st floor, the PC using this adapter is on the 2nd floor. I have experienced no problems with this product since installing it over a month ago.

Piece of cake to install.. I just plugged it in to my Windows 7 system and it worked, without any driver CD. I installed the driver CD afterwards but I found the Windows Netowrking tool easier than all the bells and whistles of the Ralink Tools. Great range, can't complain

The picture is NOT of the one I received. The one sent to me is much bigger and wider than the one shown!!! That being said, the adapter sent to me does work very well, no complaints except that the size makes it difficult to connect to one of my laptops which has all 3 USB hubs next to each other.

Excellent little wireless adapter. Installation was a snap, performance is flawless. As others have said, great for older laptops or as a backup for your wireless card. Case could be sturdier, but for this price, who cares?
