Delivered in only 2 days from ordering. Fantastic service, NCIX. Set up easy from enclosed CD, and automatically disabled the laptop's adapter that was dropping out randomly. Works at full 300Mbps speed as advertised. (Just make sure that you know your network password if you're not the administrator.) |

Love this for my laptop. With some 24Hz interference this boosts the signal pass the interference insuring an excellent signal that almost never gets dropped. Well worth the money even if I'm asked why the microphone looks like that? LOL Or if it's a network shield. It's funny to hear what people think it is, even when I wish they won't disturb me. |

Bought it to replace a Belkin USB adapter and it's very reliable from day one. It has a much better range, faster connectivity and never drops the connection.Minor drawbacks are that it's larger in size, and although it comes with a USB extension cable, it isn't a USB stand. However, these pale into insignificance compared to its superior performance. |

I had an issue with my Linksys AE2500 freezing and cutting out during upload. This thing certainly does not have that problem. Great reception and fully compatible with Windows 8.1 Pro. A little pricey for a USB network adapter but I guess you get what you pay for and it's worth every penny. |

Everything is good as mentioned in other reviews here. One thing to note, I'm using Window 7 64-bit system, but the drivers on CD or Asus web cannot get it working; I can see adapter in system as a grey icon but cannot truly Enable it. I ended up manually installing WindowXP 64-bit driver from the CD to get the adapeter working. Painful experience. |

by far the best wifi adapter I bought. I'm using 50Mbps plan from ISP and it gives me 48Mbps while other adapters gives only 10~20Mbps. Very satisfied. |

I was having connectivity issues with this until I stopped using the USB-N53 Utility. Could not stay connected to 2.4GHz or 5GHz network and software errors when more than one user is logged in. Switched to the built-in Windows wireless manager and have had no issues since.Great product. If the utility software worked I would have given 5 stars. |

Prior to buying this wireless USB I purchased the ASUS S400CA ultrabook. The ultrabook has been fantastic except for the new 'green' Atheros on-board wireless card put into many new notebooks due to its small power footprint. Unfortunately the network cards range quite poor and there are multiple driver/compatibility issues with Windows 8. I purchased the USB-N53 to increase the poor range and reception I'm getting with the on-board card. I'm 30 feet away from the modem in a coach house separated from the main house(with a yard and three walls between me and the modem). At first I disappointed that I only received 3 bars reception... until I performed a speed test. I'm quite impressed to say that with only 3 bars on Shaw Extreme 25MB/S service that I'm receiving a reliable 20MB/S download speed (5ghz band), compared to the 1-4MB/S and spotty reception that I was receiving with the S400's lousy on-board card. This rather impressive performance may be due to the fact that the USB-N53 is also paired with ASUS's RT-N56U dual band router. I'm looking forward to testing this wireless adapter's performance on faster connections. |

I bought 2 of these to use in a PC tower and a laptop, these USBdual band WiFi sticks are just great.I have had NO problems so far.My router is a D-link Dir-825 Dual band 2.4/5ghz, and Ihave seen a HUGE jusp in speed over regular 2.4 useage.I recommend this product bigtime. ^_^ |

I purchased this adapter in conjunction with an Asus RT-N53 router and I am extremely impressed with performance and signal quality. I am using this adapter on the 5GHz band and have rock solid 5 bars from the other end of the house (60 Ft open air). Installation was extremely quick with the provided driver CD which at my time of purchase had the latest drivers from Asus. You can a short 4 inch usb extension cable made of flexible metal similar to a lamp to position the device on your pc for maximum signal quality. In fact the only negative point I can make is the size of the unit. Compared to most other wireless N adapters this is very large, and looks "goofy" when connected to a small laptop or net book. However, that aside this is an all around fantastic device. |

bought this because my old adapter was having issues keeping a constant connection. this one runs cool and has great reception. the usb dongle is a nice touch, allows you to change the position of the usb somewhat while connected to get better reception. good buy. |

Been using this for 5 months, and I am very pleased with it. I get full bars 2 floors up from the router.Also, I very rarely get those random disconnects which happen with wireless adapters from time to time. (3-4 times in 5 months!) |
Do not count on the rebate.The rebate form was submitted on time with all the documents but it was rejected.They want a real invoice not a printed copy.
