I bought two of these to stream large multimedia files from our home theater PC to my desktop PC. The PC sits about 4m line of sight from the router and the HTPC is on the same floor about 12m from the router with two walls between them.I'm seeing a big improvement in signal strength and performance with the new adapters. With the signal amplifiers on both adapters turned off 5GHz signal strength is at maximum on the PC and 4/5 bars on the HTPC. The old wireless G adapter I had in the HTPC showed low signal strength.LAN Speed Test records write speed to the HTPC at 32 Mbps and read speed at 59 Mbps.Video streaming performance is pretty well flawless. No lag, jitter or halts.I'm satisfied with the adapters. I can't compare them to anything except a Trendnet USB wireless N I have, and it is so pathetic that there's no comparison. |

The asus n66 900 wifi usb is an awesome little device, nice design solid build and easy set up. Haven't had any major issues besides it not liking usb extension cables. Got it for an awesome price, very happy. Not sure if hi power makes a difference, will have to test to see. |

It is extremely to find a mac compatible wifi adapter, I had an Linksys AE3000, rated N900 and offers good performance but does not work in Mac OS X. |

Great USB Wireless adapter for this price.Got 2 when it was on boxing day sale.Range is good, speed is reasonable.
