Low-cost I was employing it to extend my Xbox game controller connected to my pc for gaming. It simply failed following extremely small usage, I could get it to power the controller back up by bending the cable in spots, but it would drop connection once again. I threw it in the garbage where it belonged. You get what you pay for.

None purchased 3 cables, only a single was working due to terrible cable-wires. When you take the cover of the housing you'll see that the cables are corroded. This was the scenario with all cables. I design USB 2Ǚ gear and there is no-way these extension cables will provide a stable connection, and it's extremely unlikely that you will get them operating with USB2 speeds at all. I was in a position to re-use the PCB's, replacing the cable-wire with Shielded CAT6 ethernet cable

Purchased 2 of these due to the fact of the specs stated "This cable contains active electronics which increase the USB signal for maximum reliability and performance over extended distances. Connect up to 5 of these cables together for almost 80 feet of cable.", Connected two together and in 2 months 1 has failed. Only connected a mouse to the finish of the second 1. the initially a single connected to the Pc is the 1 that Failed, the second one nonetheless operates for now. Only has a 30 day return policy Look for 1 that has a much better return policy.

Looked like flimsy inexpensive cable in image but it was excellent. Hooked two together to energy a U727 Sprint EVDO modem, operates excellent. Good cost The female socket isn't deep enough to completely encase the male end. Just as fantastic as Belkin products

length, usability, no software expected, it performs BUT Troubles with random connection resets. USB link will drop at random or if you touch the cable or have constant dataflow I have two of these in use with a media center. These are used to extend the USB game pads to the couch so we dont have to sit infront of the Tv. Mid Game the controlers will develop into unresponsive and will come back and function about 10-20 seconds later. This renders the gameing expreience useless. these would almost certainly be wonderful for printers or devices that dont will need continual flow of data.

it work fine only when you use 1 of this. I pluged 2 of them sequentially it's NOT working even with 2 cables (checked on 3 comps "usb-on-the-motherboard" and two usb controllers)... so if you need to have a lot more then 16ft extention - believe about other ones. I bought this 1 only since the one particular I generally obtain (COMTOP 16 ft. USB Repeater Cable, AM/AF Model 10U2-24116 - Retail) had been not in stock. With Comtop I connect 3 cables into each and every other and plug keyboard, mouse, ext HDD dock-station and ext DVDBurner devoid of any complications, and have all of them 44ft from pc. So you decide which 1 is far better... I don't get why COMTOP generally not in stock

It does operate, but not well for my purpose. This extension cable is not recognized after reboot. I am using this to get to my wireless Internet adapter. Each time I reboot I get the message "USB device not recognized" So I have to fiddle with it to get a connection. Unplug it etc. I have given up on it until I can figure out a resolution.

Inexpensive Failed in much less than 2 months. It was connecting my Canon printer to Pc. I utilised the printer incredibly hardly ever (once a week may be). The cable failed soon. I Emailed the manufacturer - no response, what so ever! Appear for other user's responses. THIS Product IS A TOTAL FAILURE. Perhaps NewEgg ought to drop this item from distribution. I will stick to the one above.
