When the Blueant arrived, it had problems with the outgoing voice feature. However, customer support was excellent and, after much testing, it was replaced under warranty. The replacement device worked exactly as expected and has proven to be very convenient. Incoming and outgoing voice quality is excellent. Battery life is exceptional. |

I have mixed reviews about this product. I would say that half of the time people can hear me great but then sometimes the connection is very poor and people on the other end can barely hear me. I bought this product for my boyfriend as well so being on the other end I have experienced this first hand. Even upon hanging up and calling back we experience the same problem. I'm not sure what is causing the inconsistency with this product in terms of performance. |

What started out as a great product - so much so I bought 6 for the entire extended family for Christmas - is now turning into a dud. Seems when talking and everything is fine the unit all of a sudden goes quiet to the listener - complaining they cannot hear. I thought it was just me and my circumstances but now two of my extended family have said their friends are complaining as well. Anyone else having this happen? I am a BlueAnt fan having used their headpieces for years. |

This is a great product for the car! I plan to purchase more for the other drivers in my family! The unit pairs effortlessly to a phone and can hold multiple phone profiles. The sound quality is good but the speaker could be a bit louder. Overall...I highly recommend this product for an in car solution. |

When the product works its great! BUT I find that a number of callers will hear me clearly but complain that they are getting echo when they speak. So the conversations are one-sided and frustrating for the person at the other end of the line. |

After looking at many other retailers this site had by far the best price on this unit. The BlueTooth unit works as advertised. We leave it on in the car all the time and it connects and disconnects with both of our phones without any intervention on our part. Speaker on the unit is more than loud enough and all the controls are intuitive and easy to get to while driving. Voice quality on both ends is acceptable. You can hear a bit of road and background noise on the other end but it is not overly objectionable compared to other blue tooth devices I have experienced. |

I wanted something easy to use and at least had decent sound quality. This unit does the job! I have tried others by Motorola etc and was not impressed. I also have the BlueAnt ear piece which works excellent. This company Rocks! |

Pairing up with my Samsung phone was quick and easy. Voice answer works great, you have to say 'answer' at the right time (during beep). Conversation volume is easily loud enough to hear over my noisy muffler. MP3's play on Blueant via A2DP profile. Music is ok but volume needs to be a touch louder to properly hear audio books. When my muffler gets fixed I'll try audio books again. |
If you're not looking for a bunch of extraneous bells and whistles, the S1 is a very good, simple solution to handsfree speakerphone needs. It was esy to set up, appears to work fine so far. Will be running in a convertible with the top down, which will be the real test of noise suppression capability, but have not had the opportunity to do so.
