Cons: None great monitor.

Pros: I found nothing I didn't like about this monitor.
Comment:
I just bought this monitor and for the price it's great. I looked around at some local shops but nobody could beat the price and it's a 24 inch monitor. Easy set up no hassle's.The colors are very crisp and my boys love playing games on it.It also has a very nice look to the outside of it. Plus right now they have free express shipping. I ordered it at 1:45 in the afternoon and it was at my house by 1000 the next morning.

Cons: Monitor has a forward pitch when assembled on the stand which is NOT adjustable.

Pros: Nice picture
Comment:
Satisfactory given the price.First BenQ monitor... probably be happier if I didn't have to adjust the viewing angle at my desk with a 5 inch stack of books...This monitor was replacing a Samsung monitor which I have to replace the cheaply made capacitors in.

Cons: - Tilt angle may be short- Some people find it too bright but I prefer light screens

Pros: - Excellent image quality- Nice simple matt finish and design
Comment:
I had this monitor for almost 2 years now and no problems yet. The image quality is very good however there are few things people may have problems with (I do not consider these problems). If you need a fairly large tilt angle and do not like your screens to be really bright there may be a problem. You can adjust the brightness lower but it still tends to be pretty bright. Aside from that, it is an excellent 24 inch monitor for the price.

Cons: wobbly base.

Pros: great screen, colour is relatively accurate from the get go, slim and light.
Comment:
This screen had everything I was looking for and performs well. No performance issues have come up yet and hopefully none ever will! Like all other customers, I found that the base for the screen was slightly wobbly, but it's nothing to worry about.

Cons: HDMI and VGA only, no DVI

Pros: Cheap LED backlit screen. Looks nice. Has a headphone jack for HDMI audio
Comment:
Bought two of these for my dad. They're nice panels, but there is an interesting design omission: Instead of the usual DVI/VGA/HDMI, the BenQ decided to leave out the DVI port. So unless you have a DVI to HDMI converter you're stuck using VGA for the video.

This monitor impressed me. The price is great, the picture is good, and a 24". Was easy to setup, and I played with the settings to make it just right, but it was easy and fast. Would recommend for anyone who wants a single monitor at a good price.

Cons: - The (Dynamic Contrat) setting in all BenQ is still a real joke. I can't believe anyone would want to use it.- Regular price is way too much.- No DVI connecctor?!- Can't raise or lower the height of the monitor though it should be perfect already by default and at worse just put a book underneath of the stand.- The driver installed by the monitor use a bad (color profile) which will exagerate the contrast and warm up too much the pictures that you'll look in (Windows Live Photo Gallery) so you'll have to download the Photoshop color profile to fix the colors and be much closer to reality. A must for any photograph that does editing like me.

Pros: - Within all the monitors I had and seen, it's the ONLY one that came with factory settings that good! I usualy always have to calibrate the monitor to get good colors but they were very close to, if not already perfect at stock! WOW- The monitor looks really great, not fugly glossy plastic.- It's quite thin and takes less power than a regular LCD monitor. You can even set it so it automaticly power off after X minutes. Never seen that before.- I have at home 3 different generation of BenQ 24" and I can clearly tell it's the best out of the bunch, the LED backlight does enhence the contrast ratio.- Price on sale at 170-200$ is a VERY good deal!
Comment:
I'm very happy with this monitor, best I ever had in 11 years since my first one. I have at home the BenQ E2400HD, G2420HD and V2410. First one was my monitor for at least a few years before going in the kitchen as a tv, second is the 150$ monitor I bought for my sister at christmass and the last one is my new monitor. BenQ keep being better and better every years while being the less expensive solution. Very worth it.

Cons: No DVI plug, 1 HDMI and 1 VGA plug only

Pros: Screen excellent size, easy to assemble, controls easy to access
Comment:
Bought this for my new computer build and this is an awesome monitor, especially for the price. I bought this on as a surprise one day special, for $185 but even the price it's at now is a good price for this monitor. Other people mentioned color problems, but I believe for the regular, every day user, this is more than fine. I have no problems with the colors at all. I've used this on games and watching movies. Seems to work just fine. I would recommend this to anyone.

Pros: Uses little power, almost no heat.Widescreen with HDMI input.Excellent output.

Bought this on sale for 199 and for the past several weeks have been very satisfied with this product. At first when you plug this baby in, the colors will look washed out, make sure you adjust it to your liking.

Cons: Color is way off. Especially Skin Tones. Unable to correct.

Pros: Cool Design
Comment:
I am about to return this monitor. I bought it because it was on sale for $199. But after a week of trying everything under the sun so make it look right. Using Spyder and coloreys pro calibrations, still nothing looks right it always has some strange green hue to it with skin tones. Colors are dull and it always seems to bright from behind for some strange reason. Even when I pull the brightness and contrast way down. Then it looks dim, but yet still I find myself squinting at it. When I turn the RGB Ranges from 16-255 to 0-255 then it looks super washed out and faded. Yes you get the great grey scale colour ranges but the screen looks terrible.Honestly I can't put my finger on what it is about this monitor. All I know is things don't look right and it gives me a headache. I have given it a fair shot as I do video editing and spend all day looking at this monitor and tried a million different settings with color calibrations. I have wasted hours running callibration programs and it is driving me nuts. If your not needing something where colors and skintones are super important that $199 could be a good price. But I would stay away personally.I would give this a 2 star rating but it keeps asking me for an order ID and every number I try off my receipt won't work.

Cons: -colours not especially vivid, reds are weak.-Stickers left residue-would be hesitant to pay full price

Pros: -(special)price is excellent-excellent(native)contrast and dark detail-bright and even backlight-competent to very good stand (sturdy & adjustable angle)
Comment:
Added as a compliment to my hp w2408h(1920x1200) which is now set as a extended portrait monitor for work stuff. the Benq trumps the HP in contrast, detail, viewing angles and back-light evenness but gets creamed in the colour and connectivity departments. Using this mainly for gaming; and at that is performs excellently. No ghosting and dark areas while still looking dark; retain detail. Also a complete lack of backlight bleeding is a welcomed improvement. A lower acceptable viewing angle compared to my hp was just what I was hopping for. No bright dots or dead pixels(LG I'm look'n at you)which was a huge relief as i have had bad experiences in the past. All n' all I would wholeheartedly recommend this monitor for gamers and movie lovers on a budget, provided vivid colours are not as important as the aforementioned benefits. If so get a nice ccfl-lit lcd. And of course if you got a extra grand lying around; get a ips with a decent refresh rate(dell ultrashrp). For the rest of us, this may be the one.

Cons: The viewing angle isn't all that great (or I'm just picky) and you have to be pretty much front-and-center for everything to look just right

Pros: Great monitor for the price (on sale)Doesn't generate as much heat (I'm assuming that's the LED technology in action?)
Comment:
I got this on sale last month. It was a steal for a 24" monitor. This replaced a 20" HP OEM monitor. I mostly use this to watch things and not for gaming, so I can't make a recommendation on this for gaming. I've noticed certain videos playing not so well on this monitor. Certain pan or action sequences are a bit stuttery and not smooth. I'm not technically inclined to figure out whether it's a. the monitor, b. my crappy computer, or c. the file itself.Aside from that, I love this monitor. Some quirks to mention include the stand not being going down the center. It's "stylish" that way? I don't mind, but some might. The entire thing is matte and minimalistic. Unless you look carefully, there doesn't seem to be any logos, words, branding on it except for a "Compatible with Windows 7" sticker on the base of the stand. The power button is on the bottom-right corner, facing the user. Control buttons are along the bottom-right, vertically. Configuring was a bit weird for me, since I'm so used to control buttons along the bottom of monitors. There's an 8mm jack, VGA, and HDMI (no DVI!) on the back along with the power socket and another 8mm jack along the left-side of the monitor (I don't use it and think it's really weird).

I bought this screen for a friend who needed a large but still basic monitor. This one is exactly that. 5ms is not very good for gaming but perfect for Internet browsing. The LED lightning is also great because it saves electricity (compared to a regular LCD screen).
