Its and amzing graphic card, dont get me wrong. some say its great for gaming. Others say that its only for workstasions. To be honest, neither categories need it. If you have money to blow, go ahead and click buy. But if you are not thilthy rich, I would suggest you buy a thousand dollar graphic card and save the rest. Give it to charity. Its good, excellent actualy but its a waste of money.

I just got this card because i ran into the same issue as others i had two SLI 275 cards and i still had speed issues with processing and rendering 3d Graphics with 50 layers and resolution of 18000x9000 it took me over 3 hours with SLI cards and with this card it took 14 minutes I have read some of this post. PS: PC GAMERS PAY ATTENTION!!!. you just play games and thing the world revolves around them. THIS CARD IS FOR THE REAL PROFESSIONALS not GAMERS. get you self 4 x 275 cards and that will be all you need for games.- Regards.

You shouldnt forget that professionals working in 3D modeling and design systems value not only high speed, but also high-quality and precision in drawing lines and surfaces that is performed without any simplifications. The gaming graphics card drivers, however, are optimized for maximum performance at any rate. Therefore, they are often unable to provide the precision professionals need during work in CAD and CAM applications. That is why specialists working in 3D modeling and design systems never question the need for a special professional graphics solution.

Renders fluid models in a flash! If you're looking for an open-source renderer for your research, this card won't disappoint. PS: all the bad reviews from the gamers are hilarious! I mean... who buys a workstation card for gaming in the first place ??? To all those morons: save your money and buy a clue!

This card IS NOT FOR GAMING!! Idiots who review this card for gaming HAVE NOT bought this card. This card is insane! It will render the highest resolutions out there with a fast refresh rate. This card is for a workstation that renders complex 3D images and diagnostics. If you have bought this card for gaming then you might as well go buy a nuke. Both are pointless if you have no intention of using it for the specified reason.

Apprently the photo did not show any SLI slot or the information said any word similar to the word game. I think the price is right either for the card itself or teach someone a lesson.

This is an excellent card if and that is if you know what your buying gamers be aware if nobody has told you things like CUDA TESLA Quadra ARE NOT GAMING GRAPHICS ADAPTERS!They are meant for scientific research such as graphically mapping viruses and bacteria and mapping the human genome and genetic architecture the only game usage you would want out of a card such as this is actually designing the the graphics for the game and compiling them AKA game designing! The biggest use of this card is computational work taking trillions of numbers and turning them into an image from scratch im tired of seeing bad reviews on professional equipment bc someone wanted to splurge and get the most expensive video card they can find .I have been using this card for processing professional animation on my workstation as well as in its idle time it runs BOINC to assist berkley university in mapping the human genome .SO DONT BUY THIS FOR GAMING,THIS IS A PROFESSIONAL CARD

THIS IS NOT A GAMERS CARD! This card will NOT run Crysis or L4D2 any faster than the 295 or even the 280. This card is ment for 3D rendering! That means AutoCAD, Photoshop & Flash, and other products of its category. GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT BEFORE BUYING SOMETHING YOU IDIOTS!

So yeah, I decided to buy 3 of these to do 3 way SLI on my X58 mobo...worst mistake of my LIFE! These don't even support SLI! That's right, $3000 for a card that doesn't do 1% of what a GTX 285 will do! I've got a Biostar mobo with onboard graphics better than this junk! I don't know what the hell PNY was thinking, or the other fools that rate this so high are thinking. This card SUCKS! Not a professional card or gaming card, just plain old CRAP! DON'T BE A FOOL! GTX 285!!!!!!

Some of you people obviously don't understand the facts and are just gamers. See that big 512-Bit memory bus??? See all that RAM??? Yeah that's because this card is capable of throughput that no gaming card can deliver. Read your facts before you confuse people with stupid remarks!

I got news for you, This card is nothing but a repackages gaming card slightly reprogramed so that idiots in the science and medical field will think they are getting a profesional product and not some gaming card for the high intensive work they do. They dont want a toy! they want performance and to them the word GAME and the word PERFORMANCE shouldnt go together. Now granted their are some gaming surgeons im sure, but certainly not many. And I would bet you that the few that are would buy a GTX285 and save their money. The only difference in this card and the GTX285 is the clock speed and refresh rates. And those are hardly different. Games need blazing fast render rates and to turn it into a workhorse all you need to do is turn the clocks down with the same processing power and what you have is a great reliable graphics card made for rendering clear precise images for a long long time!

In reference to the reviewer below. You don't buy this card for gaming. It's designed specifically for professionals, and I don't mean gaming professionals either. Make sure you understand what a product is designed for before rating it down, thinking it's an overpriced gaming card.

While I do use programs such as AutoCAD and Photoshop for my architecture designs, I do have some free time playing games like Counter-Strike: Source and Crysis. Yes, it plays Crysis as fast as the GTX 285, just to let you know, the chip is used in the GTX 285. I use it with the Core i7 Extreme 975.

I work as a 3D modeler and Video Editor (Graphics Department) of a large company, and I do HUGE 3D models for project demos, with texture resolutions of 1000x1000+ I was having trouble with 1, (If you can believe it), so I bought two more and took advantage of SLI. IT IS CRAZY HOW FAST IT RUNS! IF YOU HAVE THE MONEY AND THE NEED, THIS IS THE ONE TO GET!!!

This car is not for gaming, and 3 in SLI will not play Crysis at "5000000001 fps". However, if you know what this card is used for, you will not be disappointed.
