Bought my 3rd one to complete my triple monitor setup because of how nice these monitors are. Affordable, built-in speakers (if you're looking for a budget screen), fast response time, no ghosting during gaming, excellent viewing angles.

Cons: Really poor display quality

Pros: Low price, Fast shipping
Comment:
This is the first time that I'm writing a review.I'm really disappointed by the poor quality display of this monitor. The colors and contrast of my old Asus monitor (ASUS VW195N) that I bought 5 years ago are better than this monitor. For the record, I put the two monitors side by side and ask two other persons to decide which display quality they preferred. The 5 years old Asus VW195N won (everyone chose it). I don't know if it's normal for a 1920x1080 monitor of that price range, but I'm really disappointed. I tried to adjust the settings, I switched between Scenery Mode, Standard Mode, Theater Mode, Game Mode, Night View Mode and sRGB, but nothing to do. I even tried to adjust the color (brightness, contrast, color temp, smart view, etc.) and image (Trace Free, Aspect Control, etc.) settings but again nothing to do.For the record, I'm plugged with an HDMI cable on my laptop of the year (a Dell Precision M3800).

Cons: Stand is cheap

Pros: Decent colour reproduction, fast response time, crisp
Comment:
I bought two of these just under a year ago and just ordered two more. These are great monitors, especially for a sub-$200 price point. Although the stand is cheap (and wobbles if you type hard enough), these monitors' panels are great, which is all I really care about. Since they have VESA mounting holes, I imagine if they are mounted on an arm/stand they wouldn't wobble as much.10/10 would bang (and, in fact, I did. Twice.)

- Looks wonderful. - The colour appears much much more organic than the LG (LG E2360V) that I returned in order to get this model. Nevertheless, the Asus is considerably thicker and heavier but to me the image looks much better. - Warranty is outstanding - Not as thin as other models- Not as light as other models I am really pleased with my acquire.

Comment:
- Quite decent image after you fiddle with the settings- Incredibly average bezel that matches effectively with other monitors- Low power use. Advertised as 35 W but only uses about 17 W on my preferred settings. Compare this to my smaller sized and dimmer Samsung CCFL backlit monitor employing 40 W. Also stays absolutely cool.- Stand is straightforward to assemble and disassemble.- The energy light turns a good soft amber in standby, substantially less distracting in a dark area than a bright blinking LED.- No noise/buzzing/humming at all. - A nontrivial presence of ghosting, which shows worst with a black object (like cursor or text) moving on a light grey background. Possibly not much worse than other TN monitors.- Bleeding on all 4 sides noticeable on dark photos. Can give colors a blue tint that doesn't appear too excellent.- Speakers- ASCR doesn't seem to function. Dynamic contrast characteristics are supposed to vary the quantity of backlighting as the displayed image alterations, but that doesn't happen on this monitor. As an alternative, the backlighting stays the identical till the image is ㆗% black, at which point the monitor turns off and you can't see the remaining 5% of the image. I contacted ASUS and they indicated this was a "normal phenomena." This makes the ASCR worse than useless, and the advertised 10,000,000Ʌ a pointless random quantity. I don't even want to use dynamic contrast since it tends to be annoying, it just bothers me that it doesn't perform as advertised. - The monitor does take longer than average to power up and to switch amongst unique inputs.- The tilt is advertised as -five to რ, but it in fact tilts really far forward. Probably additional like -25 to რ.- Viewing angles aren't good, but I literally never ever notice that unless I go out of my way to test it.

Comment:
Substantial screen is fantastic for multiple excel and word documents. Decent price tag for a 24" ྷ.six"actual) monitor. Text is sharp and clear. No glare in sunny space. The default Win7 desktop photographs/themes appear OK but not as good as I thought they ought to, specially the blue sky's in the nature kind photos. Very same goes for my private images. The finest I can describe it is that it displays "layers" of blue as an alternative of a good transition from 1 shade of blue to the subsequent. I have a Radeon HD 5770 connected via DVI so I don't believe it's the graphic card. The stand seems a tiny weak and wobbles a bit when touched. I also had one particular dead (black) pixel in middle, lower appropriate side of the screen. I hardly notice it so it's not a massive deal for me. Not negative for the price tag. I'm a small disappointed in the image quality so far. I would not purchase this for video or pictures. It's not horrible at displaying pictures but it's not fantastic either. Would have offered it 4 eggs had it displayed image better.

--HDMI and DVIMost monitors at this cost variety don't have DVI and HDMI despite the fact that some have two HDMI which is fine if you have an adapter. --LEDThe LED tends to make this monitor really vibrant, the colors are great right after some calibration!--NOT A SINGLE DEAD OR STUCK PIXEL! I have to say I was very impressed with this. Not even a stuck pixel out of the box.--No GhostingAt least not any worse then any other LED monitor I've seen. I don't know notice any when I'm streaming HD or playing games. --Light bleedI've got a pretty noticeable bleed from the bottom of this monitor... I was expecting it and honestly it's not significantly worse then my buddies Samsung of the exact same size that price practically 30% a lot more than mine. --ControlsThe controls are terrible. I hate the layout. For some reason they place the menu button in the middle of the up/down buttons. Stupid, but minor. I don't see the point is spending any more dollars than you have to on a price range monitor. Which this undoubtedly is. The light bleed may well make a handful of men and women angry because on mine it is incredibly noticeable but it doesn't genuinely bother me that much.Oh, I haven't even attempted the speakers so that doesn't element in my rating.Good Price!

Comment:
Reasonably cheap for size, bright, sturdy stand, doesn't look to heat up significantly soon after lengthy period of use ྫྷhr+), vibrant, has a lot of inputs, 2ms, very good anti glare surface on screen, appears clean. Has rather a bit of ghosting (white) in exchange for the clearity. Contrast doesn't seem as great as it claims for gradient.Hue is off by a couple degree in regular. I would recommend this for casual gaming, internet surfing. If you are purchasing for visual arts, do yourself a favor and appear elsewhere.

Cons: black trim is a fingerprint magnet.tilt adjustment is sturdy, but can be very finicky

Pros: SlimSturdy base, easy to set upSpeakersHDMI input also supports audio for the speakersPrice (got 3 on sale for $120 each)good viewing angles for a non IPS display
Comment:
I bought 3 of these monitors for $120 each on sale. I am thoroughly impressed with these monitors quality. The bezel is relatively thin(but definitely could be smaller, and looks even thicker when put next to a second one) and makes for great monitors to run Nvidia surround or Eyefinity. The only issue I have with them is that they are rather difficult to align perfectly without a triple monitor stand such as the XFX stand.

It would be a dream if not for the only con. 1 dead pixel, left of center. Since there are less than eight, there aren't adequate to send it back according to Newegg's Return Policy and it's placed just annoying sufficient to grab my interest. Want there was some thing I could do. Ran all the tests to make sure it wasn't just stuck. Sad day.
