Smaller, cool searching, sturdy building, removable mobo tray. A bit of a pain to connect all the drives and PSU with the modest case, but only if you have to do it often.

I identified the reviews of this solution extremely valuable, and for the most part proper on the dollars. Here are some queries I did have however and the answers. Do the fans plug into the MOBO? Nope. They are fairly quiet, but the point of getting fans that plug into the motherboard is to spin em faster when the CPU is operating or the case gets warm. Will your stock Intel CPU fan operate in the case? Yes, a lot of clearance, but as stated by others, the PS is in the way for something tall. What's the second drive bay about? The case will take one DVD drive, and has a spot for a second (or spare 5 1ǚ inch bay) if you install a bracket that comes with the case. Can your hard drive install in the three.5 slot on the side? Yes. If you purchase one particular huge drive as an alternative of putting in a handful of drives you can eliminate the horribly placed difficult drive cage. How tall is the case? Take a normal mid tower case, split the height in half, thats roughly the size. When I was a teenage boy I would have loved all the killer seeking circumstances geared toward teenage boys these days. But as an adult I truly don't want substantially to do with what ever looks cool. That getting stated I don't really care that substantially for the clear sides. I actually don't will need to see what's going on inside my case. I especially didn't like the blue lighted fan that illuminates the insides from the front The clear sides I can reside with, the blue fan is out right here nonetheless. It will be replaced with a three pin front fan that can attach to the MOBO. That being said there are far far more pluses than minus for this case. This case isn't that small, not compared to Shuttle cases. On the other hand, its about the right size if you are going to construct a gaming rig or video or photo editing laptop. With some simple, and low-cost such as removing the tough drive cage, and much better fans that attach to the case you can get excellent airflow through this case. Here's what I replaced the fans with:VANTEC TF6025 60mm Case Fan - Retail Item #: N82E16811999615 I employed this cable: Hyperlink Depot three Pin Fan Energy Y Cable Model POW-ADT-3PY - Retail Item #: N82E16812189063 I haven't replaced the front fan yet. I do have 1 want for this case that would make it really neat. If there was a Power Provide that would have an intake fan from the CPU so that the CPU Fan would push heat into the energy provide, and the energy provide would push it out the back. Heat is the main issue with cases such as these finding smaller, due to the fact we can't use our more than sized CPU heat sinks and fans, we will need inovative ideas to fight heat difficulties as these cases get smaller in size.

Appears nice. Uncomplicated yet really functional. Fits standard energy supplies. HDD rack is cool, but i believed it was in the way. One screw, and its gone! The accessablilty of this case is incredible. You can get rid of two THUMB screws (very good), and the top comes off. 6-eight additional on the back, and the motherboard tray can slide out the back. Just make sure you have room to pull stuff, as the wires of the included fans are not specifically extended. The CD-ROM bay, one thumb screw removed, and it can slide back, away from the front of the case, and pull up and completely out. Uncomplicated access to the drives and accessories.Supplied fans are quiet. Not too confident I love the air flow by way of the case. The front fan is not flush mounted to the case, and could not be drawing as significantly air in as it is pushing internal air back. With the HDD rack out of the way, it can push right at the mobo and at the rear exhaust fans. These fans are not super effective, btw. My only other concern, once again with cooling, is the huge quantity of vent holes. I favor to set up my case pretty air tight, suck from front and push out the back. I may possibly cover some of the holes to make this better, but I'm not too worried that it's not cooling. five eggs mainly because the case is amazingly maneuverable and the 'cons' are truly just the most minor, picky imperfections.

Tiny, elegant, higher-top quality elements. Runs cool. Sliding out motherboard tray. Somewhat louder than I anticipated. Somewhat larger (deeper) than I expected (though on the plus side it does take a common power provide). Here's why I didn't give 5 stars: the case design and style wastes some worthwhile space. There is really clearly area to have yet another external 3.five" bay. As an alternative, the best 5.25" bay is wider than 5.25" and you will need to attach an adapter to your DVD drive. I have three really hard drives in there now, and it could have been 4... This is true of any tiny case, but it requires a although to match almost everything in there correctly. Another issue, when you've got all your hardware in the case, it is going to be substantially heavier than you might imagine.

you can match what you want just comprehend there is only space for 1 video card. The motherboard ought to have A PCI express slot at the most left place for it to work. It's micro atx what did think. If your like me 1 challenging drive 1 video card it's fine you also save huge on the motherboard โ bucks instead of 贶 for A full size ATX.

I truly enjoy this case. Its super quiet, modest, appears Actually wonderful, and is relatively effortless to put collectively. I enjoy that the motherboard tray and drive bays can be taken out to mount the elements on. I wasn't sure if I would like the DVD drive covers, but they are really quite good.. You have to assume about items before you place them collectively.. I ended up possessing to re-do a lot of stuff simply because of the size of the case, issues got in the way..etc. when you hook up the motherboard, make certain its halfway into the case and not all the way out at an angle :) I had to disconnect everything and hook it up once more. Also, keep in mind to get rid of the protective film on the INSIDE of the side pannels.. I had anything place with each other pondering that the film was just on the outside, and i had to take Almost everything apart just to remove the film. I found it slightly tricky to line up the DVD drive to the front drive cover. I put my machine together on a spending budget, so I didn't get a huge video card, just using on board video.. so i'm not confident how it would be trying to match a card in this case.

High excellent feel, nice finish. Regardless of massive size, the double HDD bracket sits too close to the motherboard to fit huge PCI-E graphics boards. My Diamond Radeon 5850 can't match by about 1ǘ".Not the end of the globe, though, due to the fact this point has a total of three three.5" bays and two five.25" bays. To mount two HDD's, you can eliminate the bracket to free of charge up the motherboard. Then mount 1 HD in a 3rd bay up front by the optical bays, and a mount the other HD into the second optical bay utilizing bay brackets. The only downside is you shed 1 of 2 optical bays. I wouldn't have minded an further 1ǘ". Utilizes a full ATX energy supply, not micro-ATX.

Box it came in was fairly. I bought this for the smaller size and portability. It also had a lot of characteristics I liked. I opened the box and gently took the case out. I then removed the styrofoam and the front bezel fell off. Each and every single point that was meant to safe the front bezel to the case was broken off. I referred to as Newegg and they happily issued me an RMA. I will be sending it back shortly. I would give it a much better critique if I could have done something with it. I don't know whether or not UPS damaged it although transporting it to my house or if it was broken straight from Thermaltake. A piece of guidance for Thermaltake, don't be afraid to use much more cushioning in your packaging. I purchased a ุ case from Cooler Master and it had additional styrofoam than Thermaltake's case.

Removable trays! Thoughtful design, all of the cages for the numerous components are removable (HD cage, optical/floppy drive cage) for simple assembly. I adore the internal layout! Smaller and portable. What's not to appreciate? Finish attracts fingerprints like a magnet. Absolutely nothing a swipe with the integrated soft cloth won't repair :) This case, regardless of becoming for a MicroATX board, requires a normal ATX power supply. It would be good if this data was in the item listing, as it was accountable for an RMA.There's plenty of space in right here for a couple of high end video cards, just make certain that your motherboard lays each of its PCIX slots towards the edge, or you might have difficulty with exactly where the PSU sits.

Very good finish on the both interior and exterior. Fairly quiet fans. Thumbs screws. Fingerprint magnet. The exterior is a fingerprint magnet. It even comes with a piece of cloth for that. In order to set up tough disks, you want to take out the optical drive. Depending on the model, the optical drive door may possibly or may not perform correctly; with one particular of my Samsung drive, I can open the tray devoid of a difficulty, but the door gets stuck when it's getting closed. I need to have to hold the door (what a gentleman) whilst the tray is getting retracted. There are 1 massive fan in the front and 2 smaller fans in the back, all of which are quiet. The side see-by means of panels might pick up scratches quickly. It's slightly wider than I'd like, but that's a lot more of a personal preference. Overall, it's a incredibly strong product with a fantastic worth.

Simple Access: Can take away cages and trays for something from tough drives to optical drives to the motherboard and energy provide. Handles complete size energy supply (I employed this a single: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817176002 ) Excellent design from an air-cooling viewpoint as effectively. three fans constructed in (two below power provide in back, one under optical drives up front.)Didn't have any difficulties with hand cuts from sharp edges. Style is incredibly intelligent from a build viewpoint, there was usually space for me to get my screwdriver in (there have been intentional styles visible to enable this access. Thumb screws abound. I only required a screwdriver for mounting drives and motherboard, and the power provide cage and the tough drive cage. The CD-drive cage is handled with thumbscrews as is the outside case itself. Case can manage two massive/long video cards with really hard drive cage removed. Can most likely deal with most cards on the industry although nevertheless leaving the challenging drive cage in. Did not match my video card along with the really hard drive cage. This forced me to go from two physical drives to 1, which I mounted in the floppy drive region. I had to eliminate the cage to match my card - got this Sapphire Radeon 5850 Card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102885 . I knew this could possibly be an problem prior to purchase, but some dimensions I had found for both the case and the video card led me to think it would fit. It was genuinely close (millimeters away,) till I had to plug the energy into the card. An advantage of removing the really hard drive cage was that it left me adequate area to hold my excess cables. Otherwise I would have required to acquire shorter modular power cables. Also the blue light is in the front of the case (by the front case fan.) This happened to perform effectively and be the similar colour as my motherboard LED's (using this board: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130246 )The case has a pretty but fingerprint-prone black piano finish. But it even comes with a cloth to wipe it down! All round, I got this case for it's bigger size (but still a SFF) and it's potential to handle the full size power provide. No regrets.

Excellent modular building, outstanding craftsmanship, sturdy, and beautiful. Lots of ventilation, easily installed components, i would acquire once more if i was hunting for a case for a micro atx board. Only fits micro atx, piano black shiny finish may possibly appear great, but fingerprints and light hair scratches are incredibly noticeable. The CD drive doors did not perform one hundred% of the time, which i just disassembled and pushed the drive to sit flush with the front of the case. MOST aftermarket cooling fan do not match due to PSU sitting just about straight over the CPU. It was a pleasure placing this pc collectively.

Nice piano finish, nice colour design and style, preety quiet 60mm fans. Power LED is insanely bright, can get quickly cramped, not as well neat seeking with all the stuff in plus the large PSUs. If you want a case like this and you'd like a good airflow, attach your wires somewhere and tuck some away, but considering that it's a window, it is nevertheless visible, so ideal bet is a modular PSU.

- A lot of space inside. I have horrible cable managing skills, and if I was in a position to have great airflow in this case, that implies a lot. - It fits any PSU. I believed I was going to want to acquire a new PSU, but that ended up not getting a difficulty. - It's genuinely sturdy. There are NO flimsy parts apart from the windows, and even then it's pretty sturdy. - It's uncomplicated to break down. Anything is organized so that you can take items out rapidly. - The cage where you're capable to add really hard drives is somewhat problematic. Although it's uncomplicated to take out and to put back in, it's tricky to add a really hard drive inside. I had to use my screwdriver that somehow became magnetic over the years in order to screw in the tough drives.- It gets heavy, specially with a complete sized PSU. Honestly, I don't have a lot inside, and even my video card is fairly modest (EVGA 8600GT). I went to my supermarket to measure the pc, and the scale stated it weighed ㅌ pounds. Even out of the box it was significantly heavier than my previous case. - It's a fingerprint magnet, although I honestly don't thoughts that.- The lights in the case aren't vibrant sufficient for be, but are still very good. Nevertheless...- The front USB ports are on the side of the case, and if you have the laptop in a cabinet or to the left side of you, it gets annoying. I just finish up plugging in my USBs in the back. I smelled the case when I very first opened the box. It smelled of honey.

Thermaltake's LANBOX Lite combines desirable visual aesthetics with strength and spaciousness. Externally, its paint job is high-excellent - durable sufficient to deal with some light bumps and dusting by your typical "rag". The removable motherboard tray makes installation a snap, and the drive bays are up to snuff. General, it's a sturdy, appealing case. The 2x 60mm and 1x 90mm fans do the job for cooling, but they're noisy - full speed at all instances; they are Molex connected for power... So much for working with these nifty fan ports on your new fangled Micro ATX motherboard. Worse than that, I was unable to comprehensive the rebate process due to some M$ .NET complications on the rebate company's site... Fifteen bucks I'll never see again. I'll probably replace the fans with mobo connectible, controllable ones - even even though SpeedFan does a halfway decent job . ...and I miss my fifteen bucks.

Great CASE!!! I enjoy the size and it has good features. The side vents enable for air to get in, the two 60mm fans operate decent to aid get air out, and the further 90mm in the front is excellent for obtaining air onto my board. I like how the style is, in the sense of enabling me to take virtually every little thing out, construct my program, and then only have to hook the wires collectively. :D And i can fit my psu in the other way no problem, considering that it has a 120mm fan on it. Nice style and layout.A Have to Get!! - D: I thought there was blue lights in it, lol from how the picture appears, but the 90mm fan is blue led and I have fans that are blue as well :D-Challenging drive case is a small, eh? Not the best spot to have it. Yes, its good to have that 90mm fan blowing air on to them, but i rather have some air on my ram as an alternative. Nonetheless not considerably of a dilemma.-120mm fans dont match to well. T_T Overall awesome case. I want there was a way to add 120mm fans to the case or on the side, for better airflow, because it is tiny, a lot more prone to heat construct up. BUT, there is adequate ventilation to exactly where there isn't a key difficulty. Nice function Thermaltake!

Please see other review preceding posted....this is just an update to that a single.... Please see other evaluation prior posted....this is just an update to that 1.... I nearly forgot on my other critique, the front intake fan is 92mm so you can match the additional common fans in this point. On the other hand, with the HD cage installed you will not be capable to match the fatter 92x92x38 fan in this thing. I chose a Delta 102cfm 92x92x25. Also there is plenty of room for 60x60x38 fans in the rear depending on your heatsink and motherboard config. I chose the Delta 60x60x38 50cfm fans for the exhaust. Now if you do use a bigger two slotted card I have to advise the NZXT IU01 for the USB headers; it operates wonderful and allows you to spot the USB exactly where ever you want with this case. There is a little quantity of space on the rear of the case for modding if you want to add rear mounted fan controllers; I personally chose the Sunbeam FC PCI and removed the mounting plate and drilled the holes to mount in the rear else exactly where and it performs good and appears like it belongs. Have exciting with this case.

This case is sophisticated, compact, effectively-ventilated and usually very properly developed. It breathes Very effectively and affords room for just about everything you may possibly will need to pack into such a box. Even the directions are written in a thing substantially far better than the pidgin English I've come to count on. Beware the optical drive bays. This is the a single place exactly where the designers fell short. My inclination was to put the DVD burner in the best slot. Don't. Doesn't go there. Has to go in the bottom slot, which, general, tends to impede airflow much more than a leading slot placement. In a box this compact, airflow MATTERS.Other small complaint is that for a modern box, a single may anticipate connectors for onboard fans. Nope. Nevertheless the similar ol' molex. Feh. I've built about ten of these LanBox machines for buddies and family members. I've applied Apevia, Ultra and ThermalTake. Without a doubt, ThermalTake has established to be the sturdiest, very best-engineered of the three, barring the minor complaints set forth above.

Thermaltake VF6000BWS LANBOX Lite Computer Case
The need for a compact yet powerful PC has inspired Thermaltake to engineer this unprecedented mobile gaming powerhouse, LANBOX Lite Unlike tower chassis, small form factor PC often lacks sufficient cooling capability or expandability to allow enthusiasts to build a capable gaming machine. Designed from the ground up, LANBOX Lite is a fully modular chassis where all component may be removed from the body for easier installation. Everything from Motherboard Tray to 5.25? Bay Drive cage can be easily removed with a twist of the thumb screws.

Thermal engineering played an equally important part when designing the LANBOX Lite. Today?s most high-end graphic cards or processor often requires added cooling and high-wattage power supply in order to operate at their maximum capability. Before, gaming enthusiasts that opted to build a small form factor PC were limited to mid-end graphic card or processor that resulted in mediocre performance. Today, LANBOX Lite enables the use of most high-end CPU, powerful graphic card and even a full-size PSII; the result, a small form factor PC that is equally powerful as full sized PC.

*Note: ATX Power Supplies MUST BE used for the Thermaltake VF6000BWS LANBOX Lite Computer Case.
