Solidly built. Heat sink can be replaced with modified Alpha FH9040A. No energy cable hookup necessary. Picky about which motherboard or BIOS can recognize the card. Video fan worked, but no monitor signal when installed in my Intel DG33TL motherboard. No way of figuring out what will work.

Outputting to 2 monitors and a Television, handles the resolutions effectively & no lag whatsoever. This comes out to about the similar price as performing dual graphics cards, but on a motherboard with a single PCI-E slot, this is the way to go. None This isn't for gaming, but for those who need more than two monitors, and it's good for customization such as adding a Tv to the mix with no obtaining to do any swapping or a lot of configuration. Worked out the box, Windows 7 discovered a functioning driver.

Quad DVI (the purpose I purchased it)Functions suitable away in Windows 7 64bit without installing the Manufacturer drivers. It requires a few minutes to figure out how to get your monitors plugged into the right ports if you want them ordered 1-four left to right. (no massive deal) The fan is quiet and installation was uncomplicated. Since I did not have two PCI-e x16 slots I took a chance on this card and came out a winner. Other than the lack of software program help for 64bit I would get from Jaton once again. The computer software that comes with it will not install on 64bit. The drivers from Jaton did not help 64bit. The 64bit drivers and Catalyst application from ATI would not set up. They would BSOD at the point it was detecting the hardware for the duration of the installation. Installed on a Dell Precision 690OS: Windows 7 64bit EnterpriseProc: Xeon 5150 2.66GHzRAM: 8GBMonitors: x1 Dell 2005FPW, x3 Dell 1905FPThis computer is for perform only. I run numerous Virtual Machines for testing. I did not test this video card for any form of gaming. That isn't what I purchased it for. I necessary to setup four monitors with one card and this one particular did it.

I ultimately have four monitors. I've been attempting to figure out a much less high priced way to do this and I can run video on all four, so my desires are met. They all operate with Windows 7 quickly. I don't game so I don't know if it would operate for that. The CD is only covers Windows 32 bit, so I had to download the drivers from the ATI web site and guess what I required in order to be a lot more efficient. There wasn't any sound at 1st. In order to get sound I had to uninstall the card, plug into the old video turn the audio, network adapters, and lastly the display off. Then re-set up the card and unplug and re-plug the audio in order to make the sound operate, and now everything as seems to operate effectively. A very good bargain.Proc: AMD Phenom II x4 965 Processor three.four GHzMotherboard: ASUS M489GTDPRO/USB3

Performs excellent. Uncomplicated install. I am running Windows 7 64-bit. Had to get driver from jaton internet site but seriously simple. I am running 3 monitors with no lag or screen bleeds. None but. I will update if something comes up. I kinda want resolution was bit greater but that is just me becoming picky. Wonderful single card/single slot option for operating four monitors on computer systems exactly where there is no room for a dual slot card. Works nicely in Linux. I was in a position to get hardware acceleration going across all 4 monitors. Although it does operate in Linux it requires some work to get it going. Due to driver/Xorg bugs occasional Xorg crashes might take place. Patches are readily available for these bugs if you are a energy user. I'm not going to mark off for these troubles due to the fact it's not the card's fault. I have been utilizing this card at perform for about a year on the last handful of versions of Ubuntu desktop 64bit. Don't acquire this card for 3D performance.

Drivers are built into Windows I did not see this with other reviewers but this card did not display an image for the initial Windows 7 setup. I had to install a second card, complete the setup and reboot. Windows saw the card and installed the drivers, but I had to reboot for windows to use the drivers. Right after the reboot this card displayed the image without having difficulties. This card may have compatibility troubles with the ASUS Rampage Extreme III. With a distinct Kingston RAM kit in the motherboard advised by the manual the video card does not display POST or any of the Windows startup course of action till Windows begins (i.e. when you reach the login screen).Any card need to display POST no matter what, so that dropped my rating by 1 egg. This was not a dilemma with a Patriot memory kit but I had to adjust for motherboard stability challenges.

four DVI in a single slot (here's looking at you, Dell customers), runs cool and quiet. No external energy connector needed; seems to run fine for general use on most weak commercial energy supplies. Excellent overall performance for most general enterprise use. Jaton's web page was uncomplicated to navigate to locate the appropriate drivers; their version for Win7 x64 worked perfectly, even though it seemed to function just fine with the Microsoft-offered driver set. Card appears to be constructed solidly and the included breakouts are rock-solid and don't really feel low cost at all. Works fine with breakout+DVI-to-VGA adapters if all you have are analog panels. Excellent price tag point compared to other quad-head single cards that are generally made for CAD use and price hundreds much more. Slightly weak GPU, but most users will be buying this for the convenience element of a number of monitors, not for its 3D overall performance. The cost is definitely higher than two person dual-head cards but if you're saddled with a process with only a single PCIe x16 (again, most Dell customers) this is the way to go. **Dell Users** I too had trouble receiving this card to function on specific units until I checked Dell's web site for a BIOS update; the troubles with Foxconn-based Dell motherboards (in the Vostros and such) cleared up following I installed the newest BIOS.

four DVI monitors on 1 card. Doesn't function on a Dell Vostro 200.At initially, the card would just beep and computer system would not boot. I installed the most current firmware for the motherboard and that permitted the motherboard to accept the card. The laptop or computer they boots but no displays work. I attempted it with 1-4 displays and the monitor often shows the amber standby light. The manual says that it requirements 400+ watts of energy so I upgraded by power to 500 watts. It nonetheless didn't function.Sorry but the card is not compatible with the Dell Vostro 200. I had to spend a re-stocking fee + shipping to send it back so I'm out ุ. Functions completely in Win 7, installed automatically.4 Monitors on a single card. None to speak of. Precisely what the doctor ordered. I'm a net developer and I thought a quad monitor setup would be valuable. This card made it a reality. Functions completely with Win 7, didn't even have to use the disc as Windows located and installed the drivers automatically. Was worried there might be a lag or some sort of concern that would come with running four monitors on a single card. Not so. Excellent item!

Great card for the dollars - performs like a charm, was simple to install and fit the 3-screen ap perfectly. We are employing this in a organization atmosphere, not a gaming ap, so our overview is based on it's efficiency in an workplace atmosphere. None

Incredibly straightforward install.4 Monitors came up easily and have a good image The only problem I've had is that Windows Vista 64bit will oftentimes rearrange my monitors in the setup. I have them stacked two on two, and it wants to put rearrange my monitors is rows of 1, 2, and 1. It gets tricky moving the mouse amongst monitors when Windows screws up the arrangement, but I believe this is a Windows concern, and not one particular with the video card.I wish it came with software program that would enable you to use all four monitors as a single giant monitor. I have my 4 20" monitors arranged in rows 2 x 2, and they look quite impressive. I located that I can make a desktop wallpaper span all 4 screens by making the original image the size of all 4 monitors combined, and then choosing the background image and tile the image. Otherwise, you get the exact same background image repeated on every single monitor.

Quad dvi at a decent cost Could not get to perform on a Dell (ugh) Vostro 420. Only the first two displays would perform. Linux ATI drivers don't seem to like this card either. Third display shows up as "unknown analog display" and will not fire up. Just my luck I guess.

It displays four monitors. Effective adequate for office operate. I had to troubleshoot for an hour to get it to perform. I was installing on a Dell Optiplex 745 with XP 32 bit with only a 305 watt power provide. The PC would boot but with no video on any outputs of the card. I identified that the onboard video was enabled (which is incredibly odd if you have a pcix16 card plugged in) I was then able to install the drivers and enable the other displays. Through troubleshooting I tried it on two Optiplex GX280s and an Opti GX620. They displayed an error stating that the pcix16 port could not be enabled.

I am not a gamer, I wanted to run 3-24 inch monitors and ran a cable to a 52 inch television to watch movies on. It works ideal! No lag smooth scrolling, I adore it, I looked high and low for something just like this and was skeptical to purchase it since I run windows 7 64 bit, but no complaints. Installation was a breeze. I get an error message on restart, but I click by way of it and it has been fine for months, no overheating and by no means had a blue screen or any sorts of failure.

4-DVI outputs, single compact slot, no dramas. Not the fastest GPU on the market, the fan is type of high pitch noisy. I had difficult time to come across a solution that would take only one slot, have a small heat-sink fan and works out of the box flawlessly. This one does the job in an eggcellent way. If it had a greater GPU than the 3xxx series it would be best, but I guess that is part of the challenge.Forget about eyefinity if you are looking to drive 3 monitors, you will have to get an expensive active display port adapter if your monitors don't have a DP connection: buy this 1 rather and you will be a happy camper. No problems at all with drivers on win7ኜ
