Appears good when installed, and you can't beat the quality for the cost. There is a lot of tubing to total 1 computer. Not sufficient zip ties. You'd be surprised how quick 10 go. You will most probably want to buy much more. Fantastic luck attempting to uncover the similar colour. It could use a lot more shrink tube as well. Becoming my initial attempt at cable binding, this was absolutely an economical decision to "learn on". If you want seriously higher quality look elsewhere. Also have a vacuum cleaner ready, when you cut the tubing it splinters and tends to make a mess.

Binding appears fantastic, and not hard at all to install on wires and harness's. Finishes off a setup rather nicely. The Teflon shrink wrap does not function properly at all. Glad I already had some. Nevertheless not sufficient of a purpose to not buy. Get Teflon shrink wrap that is worth a darn.

This kit has the exact identical quantity of peices as the Thermal Take sleeving kit, but the TT kit's shrink tubing is considerably better and brighter below the UV light, and much easier to perform with. This kit gets the job carried out, but make sure you know what your doing very first lol ie burn the ends with a lighter to avert fraying and measure prior to hand etc. Poor shrink tubing.. :(

Appears good if you can get it on the cable. A lot to do a Mid-size ATX case. No instructions! Heat shrink tubing does not come in a wide enough selection of sizes to do the job making use of only this kit. Snags very very easily. Not worth the work. This is my 1st binding job, but it must be more user friendly in my opinion. Gave it two stars in case I am just misunderstanding how to apply it. Don't feel so though.

properly the braided wrap likes great below the UV lights in my case... and the larger braided wrap worked perfectly. even shortened the sata power line for the psu and excluded the two additional sata connectors. if i will need them my modular psu did give me two of some cables. will be puting this on my 4-pin molex line when i get the possibility heatshrink doesnt genuinely do anything under uv, and was hardly any in pack. was heatshrink was integrated was all folded up inside so bad i couldnt even use it due to permanent creases in it. maybe i missed anything but much more strategies to get braided wraps... uv or not would be nice if i need to have more i will definately look for braid wrap by itself

Makes my case appear O-mazing with UV cathodes.LET ME MAKE THIS CLEAR:Heat shrink functions perfectly fine. I don't know if folks miss the concept that inorder to make the heatshrink lower in size you ought to apply heat....or if they are employing like a lighter or matches...But if you have a heat gun the stuff performs so well. Looks like a job they would do at a factory somewhere :] the ends fray true straightforward on you, specifically with the smaller wrap. Attempt and melt the ends with a lighter then put your cords via it, and if attainable (like with three pin fans) take the connector off and insert the cords 1 by 1 till all of them are in and shove them via. Makes it less suspetiable to fraying. Go crazy! Sleeve everything, I know I did :]My cat wasn't really fond of it although :[

Looks excellent beneath a UV light. This appears much better than the black wrap pre-installed on my PSU wires! The heat shrink sucks, it doesn't shrink quite nicely. I'd suggest purchasing bulk tie-wraps, and heat shrinking more than the tie wraps to aid hold it in place, or using electrical tape. Could use some far more blue tie wraps If you don't really feel like pulling all the connectors off, you can run out of the bigger size. The smallest size will only match over an individual wire.

Not necessarily a pro but it came with a decent amount of sleeving. Inexpensive sleeving, material is garbage compared to greater grade sleeving. Didn't come with right size shrink tube for all the sizes of sleeving.

I bought two packs of this stuff, in blue and yellow. With two 12" UV lights these appear wonderful. I had no trouble expanding it to slip more than the finish connectors. The guy saying you need to remove your pins is wrong. It will expand 3 instances its size. I was even capable to slip it over the 20+ pin motherboard connector. Shrink wrap is junk, and there's not enough cable ties. Purchase your own cable ties, and throw away the shrink wrap when you get it. I nonetheless gave it five stars, simply because it glows extremely properly.

I didn't like this item. It distorted when shrinking the heat shrink. I used a heat shrink gun on low temp and still looked cheep. Will by no means buy this again. Do your self a favor and acquire Techflex. Far far better item!!

enough to cover all cables in my caseexpandable to get more than connectorscomes with matching blue zipties. could have used more zipties. it may well take some preparing and....Thought....ahead of you do this, but you can do all of your wires with this set. I wrapped every little thing but my 24 pin power mobo cable(already wrapped black) and that was mainly because the 24 pin was also massive to fit more than. I covered all cables with some sleeving to spare(not much but i had some play space.) make confident to burn ends with a lighter to stop fraying and you really should be fine.

keeps anything looking excellent None, unless u cant appear to get it in... if you are possessing a problem with gettin the connectors in to the braid move up to a larger size and push it together they operate like a chinese finger trap, if that nevertheless wont operate take a element the connector and side it right on. I have been working with wire braided shielding for quite a few years though working on aircraft there is no subsitute.

Does what it is supposed to. Great quantity of sleeving included. Like all sleeving it is prone to fraying. Just singe the edges instantly immediately after cutting and you ought to be ok.

I do a lot of mods, and I generally do nearly all the sleeving myself. I've applied high excellent, high density sleeving and bargain bin stuff and every thing in between. Some straightforward to perform with, some challenging. This kit falls somewhere in the middle if you take price tag into consideration. So it is about typical good quality for the price tag I guess you'd say. But they don't get significantly less costly than this! (that should tell you something suitable there.) I don't assume you could sleeve a whole power supply with this. Specially the included shrink wrap is minimal.Absolutely not a complete case with all the bells and whistles.UV brightness is not that great. The colors in general will not impress anybody, they are washed out and bland. In particular the shrink wrap is almost a gray color. The included tie wraps are some of the least expensive I've ever observed, most of the ones I attempted to use merely broke apart prior to I could fully tie them. I threw them out. For the cost, what can you expect. The kit was serviceable. The sleeving frays quickly. The density is not very good, it is very effortless to see the cables underneath so for a system under a excellent deal of scrutiny, I wouldn't suggest it.. But for spending budget builders, I undoubtedly would. It is quite simple to perform with, and it stretches farther than the higher density sleeving. Most kits I get are about twoɅ, which means 1ǚ sleeve will nearly fit about a 1ǘ" plug. This stuff is a lot more like 3Ʌ. Also signifies it will stretch a bit too far on the end and fray like mad. Use a hot knife to cut. This makes it simple for folks who don't want to tear apart all their connectors just to sleeve their Computer. It seems a small shorter than some kits, I don't assume one would be sufficient if you have a gaming system, lots o fans, etc. I'd buy two if I was sleeving the complete Pc with it. Recommended for amateur and spending budget builders.

Really Simple. I have bought the black brand from this web site various business that made it. Functions greater than that one. Every single time I made a cut I would melt each ends. I also would hold it open a small just to make it less difficult to feed the wires by means of. Not enought shrink tubbing.

The mesh sleeves are fairly durable, and there was a lot more than enough for all the cords in my case. You don't have to disconnect the heads of each and every cord with that so referred to as "special tool" but I'm sure it would look a small better. I didn't and it looks fine, I just used a small strip of electrical tape and it's held together this far. Unless your case is 200 feet by 300 feet you should have enough material to cover all your cords and some. They aren't as bright in UV light as I would like, but still improves airflow and keeps everything nice and organized within the case. Great acquire for the price. Also goes nice with the blue led fans in the case already =) The smallest available sleeve that comes with the set is near impossible to put over anything. The Heat Sink Wrapping is garbage as nicely, a person mentioned that in a different assessment I was looking at before I purchased it, and I just threw the stuff away as soon as the package arrived. Could include a lot more zip ties, and instructions would be nice. aside from the cons mentioned, a fantastic purchase. The idea I had when searching for cable sleeves was to improve airflow, and decrease temp by doing so, and it's done precisely that. Fairly straight forward and to the point.
