Lots of space, excellent airflow, colored fans, cable management, and general style Only supports threeƓ) color alter fans. The HDD trays are NOT tool much less they have screws in them when you get them. The bottom 1 I was capable to lock in but the prime a single wouldn't so back to screws which are not thumb screws, disappointed. Also, USB connections are four person connections so of the best four only two transfer Information and the other two have power, stupid style. General I am quite happy considering that I upgraded from the comparatively tiny Antec 900. This case has kept my system cooler than the 900 with additional larger speed fans. I love being in a position to modify colors, and the space is excellent. I am a individual who continually swaps parts and the raise in space and much less screws for the HDD tends to make it far easier. The cable management I believe also has helped for cooling also. There are 3 holes to route the cables by way of. Like yet another critique states I truly want they would have utilized the side facing HDD style for tool less access.

- Lots of area inside.- Well ventilated. - Colour change fans are a nice touch and the controls are straightforward.- A speak to on the side door connects to the case frame to power the side fan when the door is closed. This signifies you can remove and replace the side door very easily, with no obtaining to disconnect the side fan cable. This is a seriously useful feature, which should be utilized on a lot more instances.- A lot of space behind motherboard tray and drive cages for cable management, if you're into that sort of issue. - The USB connectors from the case are 4 single ones, alternatively of two double ones. Each new motherboard has double pin connectors. Perhaps this was performed to assistance legacy motherboards, but this is a high-end case, legacy need to not be an problem.- They gyp you for fans. The case should come with two colored front fans and two colored leading fans. It would have been worth a small a lot more income if it did. As it is, it looks like it's half completed out of the box.- The "tool-much less" drive bay method on this case is terrible, clunky, and in my opinion does not work well at all. I am a tinkerer who rebuilds computer systems continuously. Drive bays that are hard to work with and do not hold rapid-spinning disk drives securely is a big difficulty for me. I would not advise this case for men and women with lots of high performance disk drives or any who likes to transform drives out generally. If they had just used a conventional cage and supplied a bag of thumbscrews, I would have been happy. This case would probably work fine for some individuals, but it fell way short of my expectations. I am, frankly, rather surprised that it was suggested by Tom's Hardware. It has a good layout and design and style, but I think the drive bays are utterly useless, so I'll be looking to replace this with one thing much more manageable. I will give this case to a buddy who will never ever be taking it apart. This build:Win7 64Thermaltake Element VThermaltake TR2 850WIntel Core i7 960Asus X-58 SabertoothG.skill Ripjaws 24. Nice very nice. Case is heavy and effectively made. Bottom mounted PSU is always great. HDD and CD cages safe everything effectively. Fans move a ton of air and you can add another 200mm fan on top. Fan speed manage is beneficial, Fan colour changing is tends to make for a good transform of pace. Great layout of the case. All in all incredibly delighted. Side panel can be a tight match. Thermaltake doesn't sell the color altering 200mm fan for the leading. They ought to. Value is correct on I feel. Excellent functions and a little one thing diverse.

lots of space, lots of fans (color changing even), has great airflow, wonderful cable routing, clean seeking and functional, simple fantastic searching style not a Appear AT ME I'M A CRAZY Pc case. Would be good if Thermaltake would of made the fan controller have additional connectors for adding more colour/speed controlled fans. love the all black case. my second thermaltake case, initially was an armor series which I was arranging on getting untill I discovered this 1 for less costly. each instances have been simple to function with and have had lots of area for expansion. don't assume I will purchase any other case other then a Thermaltake.

All Case fans worked as they are supposed to, Nice and very, Especially for how numerous fans are in thereƔ case fans, CPU heatsink fan, Garphics card fan, and PSU fan)I adore the truth that you can turn off the LED lights. Its larger than i thought, but it perfectly fits my COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus 120mm CPU CoolerIt stays nice and cool, no heat at all with my OC Corei7 870, and my EVGA GeForce GTX 470 (Fermi) 1280MB 320-bit none Bigger than expected, but nice acquiring the extra space....

I owned a Thermaltake Armor preceding to this case, and had a fairly very good expertise with it. I was deciding between Antec 1200, Antec 900 two, and this case. I finally told myself I def could not go back to mid tower. This situation is very user friendly, far more so than the TT Armor. Every little thing fits completely, no difficulties. The finish inside and out is 10ቦ. Properly some individuals place weight as a con I spot it as a pro. When paying this significantly for a situation I like the heavy gauge and sturdiness. I would recommend this case to anybody not moving it about a lot. Has a lot of tiny design functions that shows they took the end user into mind. Air flow is effective, even with employing only supplied situation fans. Far more space to expand than I could ever use. I like that this is not the most preferred case (Antec) I have built with a few Antec 900s and 1200. I like these circumstances but if I had the alternative I would acquire this one particular nonetheless again. TT does not incorporate the 2nd 200mm best exhaust fan to match with colorshift. Further, although you can buy a 200mm fan and place it up there, it will not be colorshift. Which is kinda weird.. Only 3 ports on the fan controller. While at initial I was considering I wouldnt be in a position to see my motherboard read out because of the modest window, you can essentially see anything fairly clearly by way of the big side fan. Be confident to check to see if you want any extensions for your energy supply. I didn't need any, was really close with CPU energy to mobo ran behind tray. Go ahead and acquire this situation, very good get. Lots of area! Lots of fans and cooling! Cutout on back of motherboard tray does not line up with the Heatsink screws. As a result, heatsink cannot be set up or altered with motherboard (Asus P7P55) in the situation. Motherboard have to be removed. Also, specs say 200mm leading fan. NOTE: I ordered an additional 200mm fan for the best, but it's really a 170mm. All round, I like this case quite much. The cables are lengthy adequate to reach their needed plugs. Feels and looks like fantastic high quality. I suggest this case, unless you're going to be swapping a lot of CPU's/Heatsinks.

Enormous, spacious case.Effectively built, nothing at all feels flimsy.Colorshift fans look nice. The holes for the motherboard mounts are labeled by motherboard kind (E for extended, for example). Makes installing motherboard a breeze.Screw-less bays make installing straightforward.Accepts wide wide variety of power supply sizes. PSU located on bottom of the situation, which is nice.Extremely nice control panel. Hard to carry! It's currently massive and heavy on its own. Which includes the elements you're hunting at 45+ pounds. To make points worse, there aren't truly any cavities that can be used even though carrying.I worked on this factor on best of hardwood. Both the situation and the floor have a couple scratches on them now. I would recommend placing it on another surface whilst working. As with all black cases, fingerprint magnet. The screw-much less bays don't hold the drives as tightly as I would like. When pushing on the DVD drive's eject button, I can feel the drive get pushed into the situation. It's a matter of millimeters (or fractions thereof), but it feels odd. The 2.five" SSD bay is tough to uncover. Look at the bottom of the situation (when upright), underneath the 3.five" bays. There are four bumps. Each bump has a hole for a screw in the middle. That's the SSD "bay". The screws are applied through the base of the case.Comes with two keys and a lock on 1 of the sides. Kinda useless, considering that a determined thief would just take the entire issue and break it.

Its amazing.. I grabbed one of these for my evga 3way classified board and i7950 install.. It has lots of space even for those huge new HD 6970 video cards. The pre installed fans are very good with the color alternatives and and the control is a fine addition. Keeps internals lots cool. Nothing really... it has sufficient space to to a pretty decent wire tuck but you cant stuff all the power provide wires back there. If you plan on running a Corsair Hydro series you will have to modify the location of the top fan to the front mounting spot.. so you can allow space for the Hydro's radiator to fit up at the top rated.. worked perfect for me. I even installed a second fan on my H50 with lots of space.

Really great design, Seriously fantastic airflow. Looks excellent, type of heavy. Tool-less cd drive installation is fairly cool. Mine arrived with the prime fan non-functional, the front led fan desires to be flicked to get it to go. Occasionally the top rated fan will function for a couple of minutes if you spin it, the side fan uses contacts amongst the door and the case chassis for power and it doesn't always get a great connection and the side requirements to be tapped for it to turn on. Tried emailing Thermaltake about the fans but have heard nothing from them. Just want the fans replaced rest of it is great. Also one of the four pads on the bottom broke off. This case has lots of room and the bottom mount power provide rocks. I will never by a leading mount power provide computer case once again. The color shifting fans are cool. More than all I would advise this case but with warnings. I mounted a Corsair H70 water cooler for my processor and I had to mode the case a bit to get it to fit. I had to move the top exhaust fan to the subsequent slot which caused my Bluray drive not to fit in the leading slot. Because this case has a lot of slots it was not that massive of a deal. The front fan has a filter on it which make it really tough to see the different colors. The top USB ports do not operate but it could just be a windows 7 driver issue due to the fact my devices get power. THIS CASE IS HEAVY and it weight 58.6 pounds as soon as I got all the guts into it. I wish Thermaltake would have had the landscaped drive bays where the back of the drives face the side of the case like in their Armor series.

Great case and room. The airflow is outstanding. Upgraded to this from a HAF and could not be happier with the performance The side fan contact is badly developed and on some models it tends to take a superior swift whack to the side to get it going.

- Plenty of room; uncomplicated to work in. Cable management is decent; you can fit fairly a couple of in the side trenches.- I was a little worried about the multicolor LEDs since I didn't want a christmas tree, but it turns out you can set the LED color (red, blue or green) to your usually-on preference, or there are two settings that cycle the colors. Can be changed on the fly with a button.- Front fans have filters; speed knob on the best makes it simple to crank up airflow.- A nice small touch is that they have engraved the a variety of motherboard types subsequent to the mounting holes, so it is extremely effortless to tell exactly where to put your spacers.- A massive hole under the CPU could permit you to add/remove a heatsink with backside brackets without having pulling the mobo. (My EVGA 770 Classified3 CPU socket didn't line up enough to do that, but others might.)- Tons of added screws of all types; additional than you can ever possibly lose.- HDD Cages and screw-cost-free latch mounts for all bays are amazing. - Manual says that you can't use a HSF taller than 155mm. Why isn't this height limit in Newegg's Particulars/Specs? I put in a 159mm Xigmatek Dark Knight with no problems, but it appears a tall-and-chunky HSF could make get in touch with with the side fan depending on exactly where the CPU socket is. (Anyway, they put the height warning in the manual, so ignore at your peril.)- You will hear the fans on this case. (But you know that.)- Why 4 Eggs: The rear panel/frame is bowed out about five-7 mm. I had to brace the front against my physique and pull - challenging - on the back to get it in enough to fit my graphics card retention screws. I am worried about the torque this is putting on my card and mobo. This also makes it tough to open the side. As the speedy-access latches are mounted near the best and bottom on the side, it calls for an octopus move to push on the back and keep the latches open so the side can swing out. Considering that it's steel, I can most likely bend it when I have some time, but this is an unnecessary ordeal - The SSD mount is wonderful, but calling it an "SSD Bay" is a joke. They have some indented screw mounts in the bottom of the case for an SSD; the SSD will be halfway under the lower HDD cage (you can sort of see them in the photos; they look like small cones). Plan ahead for installation. Please note - I feel this answer is wonderful, and it worked properly for me, as I was able to use a single SATA power cable for my 3 lower-cage HDDs and the SSD. I just believe calling it an "SSD Bay" is ridiculous, since it isn't 1. Calm your promoting people today down, Thermaltake.- As can be noticed in the pictures, only 1 front fan has LEDs - why not each like the Antec 900񳂠? That would look cooler.

Ultra quiet and incredibly effective at dissipating heat out of the case. Fans are whisper quiet, and the colorchanging LEDs are awesome! I particularly like turning it onto red or green. :) When I very first got the case for my birthday, the best fan and rear fan were not functioning properly. Rear 120mm would vibrate and rattle loudly, and the top fan had to spinned manually in order to get it to spin like it was supposed to. :( I did an RMA request on the faulty fans directly with thermaltakeusa.com and they had been Wonderful! They responded promptly to my emails relating to the dilemma and had been extremely beneficial in advising me how to send the faulty fans back for replacement. Thermaltake does "cross shipping", which is a big plus for me as I can be a tad impatient on waiting for replacement parts. four out of 5 stars.
