Pros: Cheap upgrade for an older system that still had some juice left.

Nice that this product was still available. The system, after the installation and fresh install/upgrade to Windows 7, runs superbly now.

Pros: Increasing the RAM speeds up a system
Comment:
I bought this to increase the RAM in my legacy XP machine from 2GB to 3GB. I use this machine primarily for recording from TV, and so I do some light video editing on it to remove commercials. This increase in RAM made only a slight increase in video editing performance, but Firefox and Chrome load and run significantly faster. If you have an open 184pin DIMM slot, you need to fill it! I already had two sticks of this RAM in the system, and over the last eight years they haven't given me any problems.

Pros: Cheap addition to old comp, Easy to instal, Reliable and good Warranty!
Comment:
Like so many others, I'm just happy Ram is cheep enough to make it worth the upgrade for an old comp. Corsair seems to make good Ram and you can make sure it's compatible with your mobo at their web site. If you have to keep your old comp it's the best upgrade you can give your old comp.Would buy again!

Pros: Reasonably priced, works nicely.
Comment:
Just picked up a couple sticks of this RAM, from one of the previous weekly sales(it sold out quickly, but NCIX got more in quite quickly too!), to beef up the wife's older computer a bit, and so far I'm quite satisfied with this product.Good things:- Good price on sale,- Name brand memory, from a company that has a reputation for standing behind their products,- Lifetime warranty,- Guaranteed compatibility,- In my case, it's playing nice, in dual channel mode, with another brand of RAM.If you've got an older computer, that could use a bit of a boost in memory capacity, this seems to be an excellent choice, based on the good points listed above.

Cons: -Not As Fast As DDR2 or DDR3

Pros: -Price-Nice Performance Boost
Comment:
It's getting harder to find older memory now. And this is about the lowest you are going to pay for quality RAM. You don't have a choice if this is all your PC is compatible with. None the less, putting more RAM in a machine makes a difference.

Pros: -Cheap!-Stable!
Comment:
Well based on the price and the fact that the ram works, id gladly recommend this. I just threw it into my room mates old PC which had only 256 MB of Ram. It has immensely improved the speed of the computer while not asking too much from the wallet. At 39.99 it is and excellent way to get some new life out of an old beater PC.
