Cons: I had to change the bios speed of the memory to run the new ram with my old ram

Pros: On saleeasy installationfaster game load times
Comment:
Great deal for the price. I upgraded from 1gb to 2gb for gaming and i really notice a difference in load times. It also helps with OS boot times. The only problem i had was the speed the RAM was running at - every time i loaded TF2, the game would crash until i changed the speed to 333mhz

Pros: cheap1 gig of gaming goodness

Well, I took the plunge and bought this stuff.. Then I find out that my motherboard may not like this stuff. Msi k7n2 delta 2. To my delight the ram works like a charm. Before you buy it though, make sure that you check the compatability of the ram to your motherboard.. And always shop around... Overall I'm happy with this purchase to upgrade my old athlon xp 3200 and so I will buy this again Just wish there was some overclocking headroom on the ram.. On my set, I couldn't even run 202 FSB. Oh well, the nvidia nforce unlocked chip is just as good.. This review was modfied by poster @ 04-21-08 06:04 PM

I am very happy with the Corsair Value select PC3200 1GB 2X512MB DDR400 kit. I am watching for these to go on sales so that I can buy another set! I don't overclock and I have had no issues with these. A great deal for ddr memory.I would buy again..

Cons: bought 10 sets (of 2), 2 of the sets had bad RAM in them. One machine wouldn't even finish posting (kept cycling with memory errors), the other got a lot of memory errors in windows when various benchmarks were run. When replaced with memory from one of the other sets, both machines were fine.

Pros: Inexpensive
Comment:
Very dissapointing. 2/10 defect rate, or one in 5 is horrid. RMA'd the two sets that had bad memory in them, but time was wasted, and I looked bad infront of a client. Awaiting replacements now.

Pros: 1 GB is 2 x 512 MB simple

As per every memory RAM, they are hard to install. I added this memory to improve SKYPE VIDEO. SKYPE needs a lot of memory. You cant go wrong with CORSAIR.

Bought this back in March for 100 dollars shipped to my door. Yeah, it has gone down in price since than, but even back than it was quite the deal.I have had no problems with the memory, though I run it stock as I use it on an old HP d530 CMT - so no overclocking here.I use this kit and a kit of 1GB x 2 DDR400 OCZ RAM together and no problems - everything running in dual channel.Ran MemTest86+ for about 10 hours when I got it and no errors.Nothing to complain about.

I am a pc technician, and these chips I have to admit I was a little scared of the Value sticker. Turns out great performance and GREAT value. After bench tests this ram performs as good as the best at a low price. I am a fan of UT3 and running this ram with a XFX 8800GT XT 512mb on a ASUS A8N5X mother board and a Athlon 64 X2 3800 Processor you can still light up all the eye candy without purchasing a $3000.00 machine. I bought these to bump my computer's ram from 1 to 2 gigs. So far they have been stable and have given me a noticeable performance boost under Windows XP. I would happily recommend this Corsair ram to anyone running a slightly older HP machine. When these are on sale they make for a very nice inexpensive upgrade.

Cons: not pretty like the more expensive version

Pros: Price for dual channel Corsair memory
Comment:
Great value for this RAM. I purchased esentially the same RAM but with the pretty caseing covering the RAM a few years ago at triple this cost. I would rather pay a lower price for great ram that is not pretty, than pay a huge amount for the same ram that has been incased to make it look like it is worth alot. Who stares at RAM anyhow?Corsair makes great ram and I have never had any issues with any computer I built because I use Corsair RAM.
