Cons: 667mhz

Pros: cheapstablevery compatible
Comment:
Great ram, so far so good, no issues. Needs 1.8v to work properly, so very compatible with any mother board. If you're not into ocing, since this is only 667mhz, then this is for you. But haven't noticed any major difference with the 800mhz ram...

This is great memory for the price and a great name brand. I bought this memory for a modest business machine build and it works great.

Great memory for the price, great quality and reliability expected from Corsair. They even overclock a fair bit but nothing major or course. Great memory for a budget build or just in general.

Cons: One stick went bad - because it's a 2 pack, you have to RMA the whole package

Pros: Stable and compatible. NCIX is FAST on the RMA's.
Comment:
We are using this with an Asus M2N-E mobo and an X2 3800+ CPU. The RAM is very solid with this mobo. We don't really do any OC'ing so not a lot of input for you in that area. We had one stick go bad on us after a couple of weeks and had to RMA - NCIX was very fast on getting us the replacement RAM. The combo of NCIX + Purolator to Vancouver Island can't be beat. If we'd waited till now to buy, we probably would have gone for 2 1Gb sticks. Despite one stick going bad, I would buy again. This type of failure can happen to any manufacturer (ie: tests good in factory but fails a few weeks later). After more than a month with the replacement sticks I can safely say things will be good for some time to come as most failures will happen inside the first month.

Cons: None so far

Pros: Cheap, works well in dual channel mode on an Intel D965OT motherboard.
Comment:
For most people these "value" stick will be more than enough since for most tasks, more memory is better than faster memory. These are priced right and work very well.

Cons: None.

Pros: Works well as dual channel in my E521!
Comment:
I bought these to replace the 512mb that were were included in the Dell E521. Works great, with no compatibility issues so far. 1GB of memory is a must for Vista; the default usage by Vista is around 530-545mb of memory. These memory come in retail packaging if anyone is wondering. This review was modfied by poster @ 03-27-07 08:33 AM

With all the compatibility issues between ram and motherboards lately, you can trust that this will work. I have been buying Corsair ram for over 5 years and have never had a problem.

Pros: InexpensiveCorsair WarrentyCompatible with many Motherboards
Comment:
I have used quite a few of these value series corsair ram kits over the years, and overall they have been quite reliable. I always do memtest86 scans and they usually allways pass. This last kit I bought was typical, having passed multiple memtest86 scans with no errors :)In the one rare occasion where one failed, I had no problems returning them for a working pair.Sure they are not the fastest or the prettiest ram sticks you can buy, but they definatelly are a good deal at these value prices. They are also compatible with just about any board i have thrown them in.I would definately reccomend these to those who dont need the absolute top of the line, as they are reliable, and affordable.

Cons: Over clocking

Pros: Speed, Price, everything
Comment:
I got this ram to buy a cost effective decent comp, and this helped me do just that, its nice speedy ram and it does exactly what i want. Only thing not to reccomend is over clocking on lower end ram like this.

Cons: not available, can it be cheaper?

Pros: super deal for the price ask
Comment:
runs fast on my dell box which has 1 GB originally, 2GB let me running 2 vmware virtual machine and the host still runs smooth.Yes, vista need more mem to demo its ability. wonder if I can get 4 GB , only if the memory price drops dramatically.Anyway, this is a good deal.

Cons: No batch-to-batch consistency

Pros: Economically priced
Comment:
Decent memory, but batches are not always consistent. The same kit bought a few months ago contained low-density chips, with a double-sided configuration. Now, it has high-density chips, single-sided.

Comment:
This is pretty standard RAM, but I don't see the point of getting anything better unless you're an overclocker. *I built a new system with this and it was very unstable - the NCIX techs helped me trace the problem to this RAM, and I RMA'd it for a new kit that has worked fine.

Pretty standard RAM that I am using on a friend's PC. I'm not all into the stats stuff, so I cannot say if it's working at optimum compaired to Kingston. However, most of the game sites recommend Corsair and I have had no problems with it.No complaints.

Pros: 1:1 u 800MHz with 2.1V u 4 - 5 - 4 - 12
Comment:
Built a friend's rig with Allendale Core2 E6300This dram made Memtest 1:1 u 800MHz with 2.1V u 4 - 5 - 4 - 12This allowed me to easily take the processor to 2.8GHz (400 X 7) with stock voltages other than +1MCH.The only issue is that dram is far too expensive at the moment.

Cons: I have a feeling that this is what's limiting my oveclock.

Pros: It's brand name, reasonably priced DDR2-667 RAM
Comment:
EDIT: I RMA'ed the RAM for something better. It ended up failing MemTest, I decided to go with OCZ Gold PC2-5400.I'd stay away from the RAM, as I couldn't get the sticks to run at their rated speed of 667Mhz no matter what I did. It could have been a bad batch, but look around on the web and you'll find stories about this ram not being able to operate w/o significant increase of voltage (which voids warranty). I didn't want to do that, so RMA'ed once it failed MemTest (at 533Mhz... disapointing)I ended up with OCZ Gold PC2-5400. Thank you NCIX for a smooth transaction.
