No installation issues, the laptop recognized the memory right away and going from 2GB to 4GB running Vista64 really sped things up. Also, the memory tool on this site helped me to find the memory that I needed without having to open up the laptop.

I bought this item to help run a 3D modeling program. Although it did not help with that problem, need a dedicated graphics card, it did speed up the overall operation of my Gateway M-153S.

This ram worked right away. It was a bit hard to take out of the packaging cause it was held on so tightly.

How do you review standard grade memory? It worked. It fit. No installation issues. The price was right enough. That's about all you can say. Corsair is a reliable brand and makes some fine high performance memory that I have used in gaming computers I have built so it is a name I trust. they are great about rapidly filling and shipping orders. A nice shade of green with gray-brown modules attached. Nice silvery conductors and solder and golden contacts stuck in a box that no one will ever see.

First, I placed my order by phone and within 2 days, I had the ram! I replaced/installed the ram myself on my Acer laptop which was fairly simple to do. It was an upgrade from 2 gig to 4 gig of ram. The laptop recognized the new ram with no problems whatsoever. I noticed a big difference in performance. The laptop runs a lot quicker. So far, so good! My experience with this site has always been great.

I join the cheers of approval for the Corsair memory. Our laptop was laboring under the weight of 32-BIT Vista with a mere 1 mb of RAM. When increased to 3 mb, the laptop showed much relief and could do more than one application at a time. Actually, I put in 2 SODIMM's totaling 4 mg, so I wasted 1 mg, but the configuration works just fine ignoring the extra memory. I do want to plug this site's memory configurator, which helped me to find the memory products compatible with my laptop. Good work!

I upgraded my 32 bit vista laptop from 1gb of ram to this 4gb of ram and it made a huge difference in the performance of this laptop. I cant believe how fast my laptop is running now. Definitely a great buy.

These things save me so much aggravation. My Acer laptop came with Windows Vista and 1GB of RAM! took forever to turn on and usually froze during daily usage. Now my computer has a normal boot time and I can run as many programs as a want without it slowing down.

Just received this memory last week and I've had no problems with it. Put it in my gateway MX6950 laptop and it reads all 4gbs in the bios, except for windows, it can only see about 3.1gbs since I have the 32-bit one. Yup, I am a satisfied customer and you can to if you get this RAM.

Cons: None found - although it is possible for RAM to go bad after even a year (have experienced this).

Pros: Price. Works as advertised.
Comment:
Works fine in my iMac Aluminum 24" 2.4 GHz. Recognized correctly as 4 GB 667MHz. Have yet to run memtest but works great so far although I have never really taxed the memory system a great deal. No unwanted crashes or kernel panics (like they are ever wanted). Computer has had many "power on" and "awake" hours with no crashes.

Cons: BIOS gave error message saying that memory was replaced and halted boot but after a minute or so, allowed me to continue with boot and config. for 4GB. So only that's minor hitch. Also went on sale the day after I purchased it...oh well.

Pros: Put this in my Dell Inspiron 9400 (e1705). Great and worked right out of the box with Vista SP1.
Comment:
Makes Vista SP1 speedy than my original 2GB setup inside a Dell Inspiron 9400 (e1705). Totally recommend.

Cons: Memory is not running at 667mhz as advertised when in Dual Channel mode.

Pros: I havn't had any breakthroughs on the strengths of this memory yet.
Comment:
Memory advertised to run at 667mhz is only running at 333 in dual channel mode (for those people that say you add the numbers together of the mhz from both chipd - it's wrong). DDR pc3200 memory runs at 400mhz per chip in dual channel mode... this memory states it's running Dual Channel, but i'm not seeing the speeds anywhere in mhz numbers. All benchmarking programs slate this memory as 333mhz.

Just installed this in a new MacBook 2.2 ghz Santa Rosa. Only took a couple of minutes and it booted perfectly. Both chips are recognized for a full 4 gb. The machine flies now.The Apple store wants an extra $950 for this config. I paid $125 for these and NCIX had them at my door in less than 48 hrs. Used the savings to buy an iPod touch and lots of other stuff. These are a no brainer for MacBook owners.
