Second Viewsonic product in 6 months. Bought it to match a 24'' monitor. Great picture through coax (tv signal) Component (video games) and composite (DVD surround sound system), but got very low resolution when using HDMI to connect to PC. Image was much clearer when using VGA(D-sub) with exact same settings. May just be issue with video card. (other monitor connected to PC through DVI due to HDMI being used for 360) |

Easy set up. One of the best sounding TVs for any LCD(big or small). I am always worried about sound quality with LCDs (to thin to put a nice speaker), but this unit is excellent. Great unit for a bedroom or other small room. |

As always this site is a great place to do business. Very disappointed with this unit. Received it and two uses later it is power cycling and not working. Called ViewSonic and their attitude was sorry not their problem call them. Hmmmm not good customer service on their part. The company is of course replacing but it sure leaves a sour taste when a product fails that quickly. |

I have 2 ViewSonic monitors at home & 1 at work. They are top of the line, and my reason for getting this TV. Set up was easy, more features than you can shake a stick at, user friendly menus, and great picture quality. Right up to the time (3 weeks later) that it stopped working. I had the same problem as a previous reviewer. The power would cycle on, the splash screen would appear, then it would shut off and start the cycle all over again. The only way to stop it is to pull the plug. ViewSonic cust serv has been great. They recognized the problem, and were quick about getting return documents so it can be repaired, but not replaced. It appears this model has been discontinued. I wonder why? I still love the product line, but, I'd stay away from this particular model. |

I wanted a TV in my bedroom but there wasn't room with my computer and office desk already in there. Then I learned of combination TV Monitors. I already have two of the same brand LCD monitors and have been very happy with them. So I looked at the website and found this model and ordered it from tigerdirect. As a PC monitor it simply couldn't be any more clear. As a TV the picture is stunning in 720p. I don't yet have access to 1080p but will when I buy a BluRay player. I'm no audiophile so the speakers that some complain about sound very good to me. I have already recommended this model to friends. I'm very satisfied with all but one detail. The remote is not capable of learning so I have to use the remote for off, on, volume and another remote for the cable box to change channels. That is why I gave 4 stars for features. |

This TV is great. I read the reviews, on here before buying and it was making me think twice. But those other people are wrong. This is a TV well worth the money. I have an LG 40inch an i love this one more than it. plus sweet thing is you can use your computer speakers on it. but all in all its great and I'm thinking about buying one more. The only thing I found wrong is the remote is pretty cheap. |

Price seemed excellent. Turned it on, worked great for about an hour. Tried turning it on again and got the the infinite reboot cycle. Viewsonic was good to quickly diagnose to say it was defective. After reading the reviews it looks like this is a common issue with this TV. TD was quick to issue RMA to get refund. HOWEVER, I'm still waiting (TWO MONTHS LATER) to get return shipping reimbursement. Bad TD. |

Had one problem 2 nd day, screen was all bright white, could barely see my desktop, called Viewsonic support and he told me to disconnect for 4 hrs. Did that and now seems ok. Image quality is very good. |

Purchased for my Mom - who was hanging on for dear life to a set from the 70s. You could hear the lyrics to A Whole New World streaming as she opened the box. Excellent colour, good sound plus a wireless remote plus she can lift it by all by herself. Hello, Kitty! |

Purchased this TV over a month ago. It does all it claims to do. Great picture quality and certainly cant complain about the price. If buying for the bedroom, note that TV as to be level with eyes or it will look dark. |

Service and price and shipping were excellent. The picture quality is unreal and all functions work as expected. If I had a complaint it would be that there aren't enough connectors. One HDMI connection is really not enough these days. All things considered though I would still buy this one again if the need arose. |

I purchased this for my bedroom office and was delighted with the picture quality. The sound was not that great but I have external speakers that I use anyway. It worked great for the first 24hrs. When I came back to use it the next time the unit powered up showed the 3 birds on the screen and shutdown and then back on again. I cant get past the three birds. It feel like they are laughing at me. Any way I sent the unit back for a replacement and it looks like it will be two weeks for turn around from viewsonic. |

the TV shipped on 15 jan 2010 it is now 15 Feb 2010 and it has not arrived as of today. I would like to tell you about the TV but last time anyone saw it it was in Germany. in all fairness I am in Iraq, but I have had cigars arrive in 3 days to this same base in Iraq from Florida so. |

This TV is a above average LCD in this price point for the bedroom, kitchen, RV, etc. type of application. Has a decent amount of hooks up for xbox, ps3 etc. Would buy again, and have. |

Awesome HD picture using the antenna tuner, playoff hockey was epic... The VGA computer in has a very sharp picture, great for reading text... Component video inputs with a standard DVD player looked wonderful... I have not yet tried the HDMI, nor do I have a BluRay player to test 1080P on the TV, but all in all, I am very happy with this television.
