Cons: None so far.

Pros: - with raid0 I get 1Gb/s seq. read and write.- Easy to install and the update  software is easy to use.- Black, so it looks good in any case.- After 1 year it's still performs just as when I bought it.- 3.5" mounting plate and screws are included.- "My SSD is faster than your HDD" Sticker is included.- Great performance for the price.- Got 7.9 Rating in Windows 7 when set to AHCI mode. (7.7 in IDE)- Rating in windows 8 was 8.4, but was rated with Raid0.
Comment:
Cheap and it performs. Perfect for any build.

Pros: Very fast drive. Quiet and cool also.

Had this drive for a year now as my os drive and couldn't be happier. Completely filled it once, and still never a problem. Same initial OS install from day one.

this SSD gives a great balance of Performance and reasonable price, my windows load times have not just been reduced, but my systems loads faster than my phone does.Great entry level SSD.

Cons: Debatable reliability... see summary.

Pros: Fast, great boost to system response. Basically all the things that ssd's improve in a system.
Comment:
Worked as advertised for the first few months, after that I have been experiencing random freezing during boot and system freezing intermittently. Seems to be more of an issue getting a boot to finish properly. The system will just hang with a black screen for ever just before you would normally see the gui. I haven't tried a reinstall as it is still basically a fresh install. Plenty of space left on the drive still so it's not a matter of limited space issues. Mine had the latest firmware when I got it from ncix... will be waiting to see if it ends up dieing. I would buy an intel drive next time.

Cons: There are bigger capacity drivers out there

Pros: Easy installationVery AffordableNo Issues after 5+ months of heavy use. Very fast, startup very quickly
Comment:
The difference between this SSD and the HD I had in my ThinkPad is night and day. Before with the stock HD it would stutter/pause if I moved during a movie/song in windows media player. After installing you can shake it all you want (dont recommend) and it wont stutter at all. Also the bootup and shutdown times have been greatly been reduced, but I also attribute Windows 8 to that as well. I have not and probably wont get around to benchmarks as I have no interest, this SSD was installed in my ThinkPad T500.

Pros: Stable, fast
Comment:
First time with using an SSD and I find it to be a great improvement over and HD. HD as a secondary for storage works fantastic. The difference between the two is the space. SSD can't hold as much and get filled up quickly. Best to have an HD or two to fill up with that wonderful time-wasting junk we all love and enjoy.

I bought this SSD for my 5 year old laptop, and it brought life back to my old toshiba. This helps me to boots into win8 in less than 14 seconds, and Im loving it.This is a good SSD, and its also one of the faster SSD out there.

Used it for 2 months now. Works fast, and reliable so far. Still the space for the price is to much for me right now, but I would get more ssd's and bigger if price wasn't an issue. I would buy it again.

Cons: - No manual or user guide.- MIR is a pain.

Pros: - Fast transfer rate.- Decent price.
Comment:
Bought this SSD for an HTPC. The size of 120 GB is overkill for an HTPC, but that's fine since smaller drives were not much cheaper. I heard OCZ is not well known for reliability, but for HTPC uses that's not an issue.

Cons: -no SATA cable provided

Pros: -includes 3.5" mounting shim-3yr warranty-great price-point (as of fall 2012)
Comment:
While not as fast as current-gen SSDs, most of the read speed metrics of this Sandforce-based drive still outpace the Vertex 4 models. If you don't need extreme write speeds and are comfortable with the somewhat poor reputation that OCZ's Sandforce firmware has acquired, this is an excellent little drive to run your games from.

Cons: Apple thunderbolt and goFlex adaptor with OCZ Vertex SSD get hot. Not recognized by Final Cut Pro X from new projects. (Apple needs to get on this)

Pros: Small, fast as hell, works with GoFlex adaptor for my MacBook Pro Thunderbolt
Comment:
Super fast in/out for videos, pictures etc.Works get on the MacBook Pro Thunderbolt connection using the GoFlex Adaptor from the Apple Store. The SSD slips into the GoFlex very smoothly. Apples Disk utility erases and formats easily. You need to buy the Apple Thunderbolt cable to connect everything.VERY HAPPLY video editor.

Cons: Very little information included in box

Pros: Includes 3.5" adapterWas already on most recent firmwareExcellent performance to price ratio
Comment:
Well, going from a cheap HDD to this SSD is a world of difference. Although I'm running on SATA2 the performance is still very good and close to what OCZ has rated it for on SATA2. With Win7 64bit installed on it boot times are very good and I haven't encountered any issues so far. I was pleasantly surprised by the 3.5" adapter included and made installation a breeze. At 80$ i feel like I got a great deal.

Cons: Serious issues with MacBook Pros.

Pros: Fast, cheap
Comment:
Overall a good drive and good value, but avoid it for MacBook Pros, there have been a number of beachball issues where the drive freezes for 10-20 seconds. Reference the OCZ forums. Considering returning it or putting it in a Windows PC.

Cons: First one wouldn't write

Pros: Performance
Comment:
This is the first SSD that I've purchased and I have to say I was pretty disappointed to see that it was DOA. I couldn't install Windows on it as whenever it would try to write to the drive, the HDD light would just go solid and everything would freeze for a minute and the light would turn off. After reboot, the drive fails to detect and I had to disconnect and reconnect the SATA cable. Flashing the firmware did not work. Luckily, NCIX exchanged it for me without hassle. The new one came with v2.22 firmware as well. This second one works and has worked ever since and I'm loving the performance. Unfortunately, since the first one was DOA, I don't think I will buy OCZ SSDs again.

I've had this SSD for 5 months, no hiccups yet (fingers crossed). OCZ updates firmware often. Purchased for $129.99 in Apr 2012, but price is $69.99 after $20 MIR in Sep 2012!

Cons: I hope it won't ever need servicing. See summary

Pros: Very fast drive. My laptop is booting windows 7 to a usable desktop in about 30 seconds. Very good for a 3 years old machine.Got it cheap with a 10$ MIR
Comment:
I bought this drive on August 11th on sale and with a 10$ MIR card. I followed OCZ instructions and went to their website to fill out the requested informations. I stumbled on a bug on the website that wouldn't let me enter the purchase date. I sent an email to OCZ about the issue. I got an automated email saying that they would answer my question. Three days later I got an email saying they would answer my question within 3 days. It's been a week now... It's only a 10$ MIR but if that's the kind of service a customer can expect from OCZ I'll stay away from their product.Thank goodness that the drive is working well and perform like it should. If I ever hear from OCZ again I'll update  this review.
