I'm on my 3rd firmware update, and I use it as an OS drive so it's a pain. Upgraded from a Vertex 2 that ran great. The Vertex 3 Max IOPS started fine, but then started having BSOD problems once or twice a week. Cannot be quick reset, you need to do a full hard reset for the system to see the drive again - on boot it would say "no disk found" until hard reset. The firmware updating software downloaded from OCZ would not work with the IRST drivers I had installed, would not show either the Veterx 2 or 3 installed in the system (even though they were the most current drivers offered from the Intel site) a search will find a newer version that allows this software to see the drives - sorry I don't have more info but I'm writing this while away from home I have been running this latest firmware -2.15- for a week without problems, but I'm not counting it fixed until I get a couple of months of solid performance. On the plus side of things: I have a new Cavier Black HD that I installed windows on so that I have a back up in case the Vertex has issues again and I want to RMA - the difference in the system feel is night and day between the two. The SSD is so snappy and quick that even going back to a nice platter HD felt like a major step backwards. I'm not a huge stats/benchmark guy, but I can tell you that the Vertex rips when running correctly.

Cons: Price for capacity, but it's to be expected for a couple more years. Also requires and update  out of the box, can ge the tool from OCZ website.

Pros: Amazing bootup/load times. Makes programs run and feel much smoother.
Comment:
Runing 8x in a Raid 0 config. Only took four to max the raid card. Just an amazing product with blisteringly fast performance.

Cons: Very unstable with firmware v2.11.

Pros: Very fast.Fast support on the OCZ forum.

After several hours I was unable to find a stable configuration. I used a Vertex 2 for 8 months without any problems. When I installed the 3 Vertex, BSOD every 5 minutes ... Tested with a MB Gigabyte P67A-UD5-B3 and an CPU Intel i7 2600K.This is not a criticism against OCZ since all manufacturers who use the Sandforce controller have the same problems. Got one of these for my laptop to replace a Corsair SSD DOA. Boots like a dream and haven't had any problems with it so far. Haven't run any benchmarks with it but it is quite fast

Pros: FAST, 2.5in form factor

I picked one of these up for my brother to replace his Seagate Momentus XT. Boot times are amazing and the system loads everything immediately.Just remember to put music, movies and documents on your secondary drive as 120GB isn't a whole lot of storage to work with.

Cons: Unable to update  the firmware with the OS booting from itRelatively expensive (worth it for the performance)

Pros: SUPER fast, Windows 7 boots up in 10 seconds after BIOS
Comment:
If you have anything that auto starts when you turn on your computer, make sure its installed on the SSD. It's amazing how quick everything is. Don't install everything on this, use a second mechanical drive for Games, movies, etc.

Cons: firmware caused BSOD but fixed nowonly 120G

Pros: fastreliable
Comment:
This review is mainly a rebuttal to the person who said they had problems with sleep on Win7. I had those problems but only because I disabled paging like a lot of ssd guides will tell you to do.You need paging enabled for sleep to work. It should be at least 1Gig in size.I had firmware problems like a lot of people with occasional BSOD. OCZ issued a firmware update  some time ago which has fixed that. So overall I am very satisfied. SSD is still a bit overpriced for the performance improvement IMHO. The computer boots much faster. update s install faster, programs open faster. But depending on what you do it may not be worth it. If you use the same programs all day and leave them open you are not going to get much benefit. If you are a power user and use your computer for all sorts of things day and night like I do it's not a bad investment.

Cons: - price (needs to be sub 200 IMO)

Pros: - fast- 32nm flash
Comment:
I bought my else where cuz NCIX did not have any at that time. But I can say its been solid in performance and reliability. (I 2.02 firmware .. was told newer has problems. never tried.)running a Z68 chipset with 2600K ... I wish i had the cash for the 240 Max IOPS .. that one is faster at random reads.

Cons: Required switch from IDE to AHCI to install Windows XP to Win 7Cannot let it go to sleepPriceyNot much space

Pros: Superblazing fastEasy to physically install
Comment:
Had a few hiccups with BSOD and early setup with my MSDN Windows 7 Pro upgrade. Computer will hang when you let it go to sleep, similar to many other SSD. Very fast. Will purchase another one once prices come down. Can't say much about reliability.

Currently using one, but is already super fast.Plan to get one more to raid it to increase the overall storage and double the performance.Overall unchallenged performance.

Cons: Price

Pros: Good speed on an Intel SATA 6 Gbit/s port!
Comment:
I replaced a Vertex 2 with this one and although there is a noticeable difference in the benchmarks and the Windows 7 rating, the system performance difference is not that noticeable.SSD running on a 2600K CPU and an Asus P67 Mobo.
