With the 1.5 firmware already installed when I recieved this drive I have had zero problems with it. Fast for a 128 gig. Got mine for $100 price matched.

Cons: Same price as Vector now. Trolls giving OCZ a bad reputation.

Pros: FAST, Reliable, Great Value, comes with hd tray.
Comment:
Pros, I bought this drive when it first released. They have made several firmware updates and turned this drive into a beast. With this drive alone I beat all of my friends loading into games or loading multiple programs. In RAID the drives can run over 800mbps. Comes with the mounting tray unlike it's Samsung equivalent.Cons, the new Vector has released and it's specs are more appealing on benchmarks. This wouldn't be a big deal but the Vertex 4 recent increased in price making it redundant to it's new bigger brother. Non the less if you can get this drive for a deal it is only 1-2% slower than the latest and greatest Samsung 840 pro but for a lot less money.I buy them for every system that I build. I must own 6 V3 and V4 drives and NEVER had an issue with them. I cannot say enough about this drive so don't let the trolls persuade you.

Pros: Great Quality, Fast, Easy install,
Comment:
Windows 7 & 8 can chew up a lot of space on it for swap files, still a bit small for every day carefree use, so it windows needes to be optimized for this drive. Would be cool it it cam with optimum auto settings that windows could see without user input.Super fast on SATA3 and even on sata2 i saw 258+MB/s transfers.Windows boots in seconds and Adobe CS6 in 1/3 the time or better. Two of these together as one can give over 1GB/s transfers, amazing.

Cons: Had to update  BIOS of PC to get it to be more stable with this drive and was proven since system ran 9 months with slow SATA2 drive.

Pros: Speeds up system nicely.
Comment:
I use it as Windows boot drive and most programs that don't require speed run on Sata3 drive as secondary .System ran 9 months with sata 2 only drive and 1 month with Vertex 4 drive flawlessly then I was getting Blue screen crash and mufti-reboots which appeared to be a timing issue .Updated motherboard bios and so far so good again. These drives allow system to run so fast you may experience crashes . Proven by tweaking bios speed of system until system crashed even more .

Obviously you could spend more for a larger SSD but I've had this one for just over 3 months now and have only used ~60GB. I have windows on it, and the programs that I use most. It's a great performer, and the super fast boot time is really great.

Bought this drive on sale in August and just installed it last weekend (have a 4 month old). I installed windows 8 on it and the machine boots from the bios to logged in a functional to windows in 7 seconds. This desktop is a 4 year old Core 2 Quad with 6 GB ram. Files in windows are copying on the drive at 500MB/sec.Extremely happy.

Cons: The drive failed, without warning, destroying all my data.

Pros: It was fast while it lasted.
Comment:
The drive failed and took all my data with it. I thought with no moving parts a SSD would be more durable than a hard drive (infinite life in theory?). I was wrong. I have 8 hard drives running fine, but this thing failed. It was a fast drive while it lasted, but it failed without warning, so I'm giving this drive 1 star.

Computer boots to home screen in about 13 seconds now, down from around 24-25 seconds on a WD Black HDD. Easy setup and install, no problems with the bracket or mounting. Works just as it should. Also it's great not having to wait for the drive to spin up or warm up when you need a file.

This is a VERY good bang for the buck SSD and its 5 year warranty means that you really don't have to worry about reliability. I would still keep a backup just in case but i've been running 2 of these in RAID 0 with no issues for 2 months now. A great buy!

Cons: None

Pros: Very Stable (Most important for SSD), Fast (All current SSDs are fast, Vertex4 is one of the fastest on paper but you wont really notice a difference)
Comment:
Make sure you update  the firmware before installing OS on it, the 1.4 update  is destructive. The biggest advantage over M4 is that 2.5" to 3.5" mounting bracket is included.

Pros: Super fast, great price, very stable
Comment:
It was easy to install in my 2010 HP dv6. Even though it only has SATA II, my boot time went from 2 minutes to 25 seconds(!). Load screens are much shorter on games and my battery lasts a bit longer. Its a perfect size for an OS( Windows 7 home Premium: 19 GB) and big game installs. I would recommend that you have an external Hard Drive to store all your media in order to let there be some free space on the SSD (as it does work faster with some free space). I would highly recommend it for first time SSD buyers who are a bit tech savvy.

Trim enabler (3rd party freeware) worked immediately enabling trim support. Boot time (with password and then launching a large Iphoto library) was reduced from 1:24 to 22 seconds. Computer is now insanely quick. I would highly recommend this product. There are much more detailed reviews here from more knowledgable users but just wanted to point out that this drive works well with a mac. I got this drive on sale for $120 and at that price this drive was a can't miss.

Coming from a 2 year old SATA 2 SSD, time has been good to SSDs I can see. This thing (with an i5 3570k) is so fast, the 4 orbs for the windows splashscreen dont even touch, next thing I see is my desktop. Applications load instantly. Overall, quite impressed. If you are still using a hard drive, get this thing and fall in love with your system all over again.

Because many HDDs are needed to achieve the same performance, SSDs offer greater cost effectiveness for IOPS per dollar.

Greater Durability - The non-mechanical design of NAND flash mounted to circuit boards are shock resistant up to 1500g, unlike HDDs with various moving parts.

Less Power, Silent Operation - SSDs use significantly less wattage at peak load than hard drives, delivering longer battery life, less power strain on systems, and a cooler computing environment.

With no moving parts, SSDs are able to run quieter and weigh in at only 77g vs. 752g for HDDs.
