Great huge monitor at a decent price while on a sale.At first it seems giant when moving from a smaller monitor but adjusting to it doesn't take long.Only thing I dislike is the silver strip on the front (wish it was all black) but it's never distracting to the eye so that's a plus and it would be nice if they sold a speaker less one.Rounded border is about 2-2.5cm at the sides and top.Great 24"+ monitor, definitely gonna pick up another for matching dual screens. |

Got this monitor to replace my 19" CRT monitor. It was one of the few 1920x1200 at a decent price. The PQ overall is ok, but not as good as my old CRT. The biggest issue is ghosting in games, slight movement has minor ghosting which is easily noticeable compared to my old monitor, it gets even worse the faster you move. Considering the price, resolution and size, this was a good purchase. |

Great LCD, bought it with the Zero dead pixel warranty, had some dead pixels appear the first week. Had it replaced and haven't looked back. Great LCD, colours are vibrant and bright; games and movies look amazing while text is extremely crisp and easy to read. |

I've had this monitor for about 6 months and I haven't had a single problem with it. The picture quality is perfect. I have my computer hooked up via DVI and my xbox 360 hooked up via HDMI. The minijack input and ouput for the speakers are great, this way I can have the sound from my computer and also my xbox comeout of my speakers which only have one input without any extra wiring. |

I had high hopes for this monitor, because of its size and resolution. Unfortunately, while it may or may not be good for playing games or watching videos, it was a poor choice for me, for work purposes. The display brightness is very hard on the eyes, even at its lowest levels. I've found that in colour test patterns it is often difficult to even distinguish sharp boundaries between different colours, and Windows' font smoothing results in highly visible aliasing effects. The difference in brightness between the top and the bottom of the display is vast, but I was told by support that this occurs on all LCD monitors. I've never seen anything like this on any other LCD monitor before.As the description of a two star rating goes, it works, but I would not purchase this model again. I'd be returning it, if I could do that without a restocking fee. |

I've only had this monitor for a few days thus far, but I'm already very impressed by it. I was surprised by the sheer size of the viewable screen when I set it up. Looking at photos and measurements of it is one thing, but to truly see just how much screen space this monitor provides, you have to actually see it first hand.Thus far the colour and image quality is pretty good (still a bit of tweeking to do), and there is minimal backlight bleed from around the screen (from my perception).This monitor is a welcome upgrade from my old 19" CRT monitor, and I'm very glad I did choose this monitor. Good quality for a reasonable price. |

The preset colors on this monitor are horrible and the default brightness is set way too high. I've already turned the blue back to 0% and there is still a blue tint on the screen. I've ordered some expensive calibration software and hardware in hopes of getting it to look better, but so far this is my least favorite monitor out of the 7 monitors that I own. At least the stand is fairly sturdy. I'm unable to recommend this monitor until ASUS upgrades their quality control, and I certainly wouldn't buy it again for myself. |

If you are looking for lage inexpensive monitor, this is probably the best choice. Make sure you have enough space in your computer desk before buying this. Quality is great and worth the money. I needed a big size display and this gets the job done. |

Shipped quick and works great. I had some issues with DVI and Windows 7 where the monitor would not wake up from sleep mode but this might be the video card and not the monitor. Switched to HDMI and now it works perfectly. Colors are bright and vivid. Display is huge. I'm very happy. |

Overall, happy with the purchase. Item was at a great price and functions very well. Hoping to get both my screens to match in color with the help of calibration software. There was a strong blue tint out of the box, but with some time, you can minimize the issue with your own tweaking. |

I just received this, and while it doesn't have any dead pixels, it does seem to have a blue haze to the screen, even after Calibration. It would be fine for gaming, but not for heavy text use. I guess you get what you pay for. I will be using it as a secondary display, although I hoped the text quality would be good enough to use as primary. Don't think it will be . |

I've had this monitor for three days now and I can't pull myself away from it. I didn't have any of the colour problems others seemed to have. Everything was fine right out of the box. I was blown away by the image quality and the sheer size of this thing! Others mentioned that viewing angles were a problem, or something like that? I would have to disagree. I'm guessing they were nitpicking to a rather large extent. I notice a VERY, VERY slight amount when I shift angles to a large degree, but it's hardly anything worth noting.This is a great monitor. You won't be disappointed. |

My friend wanted a 27" but I was proposing him a 24" so this one was the perfect "in between".Most LCDs have 1080 resolution but this one as a nice 16/10 1920x1200 resolution. He's playing Civilization V at max settings and it looks awesome. Didn't see any ghosting at all.
